A couple basics for skinned meshes off the top of my head since I feel bad for being mysterious:

•  (almost) All data is stored within the BSSubIndexTriShape block.
•  the BSSkin::Instance block stores a list of bones and a link to a BSSkin::BoneData block.
•  the BSSkin::BoneData block contains an array of bone descriptors that include bone transform data (translation, scale, rotation, bounding sphere center and boundign sphere raidus)
•  In the BSSubIndexTriShape
  • A subclass of the also-new BSTriShape Block. Most of the below holds for both, except for the subindex data.
  • important data before the vertex list include  vertex count, triangle count, the size of blob of data comprising the vertex and triangle count.  Also important is a reference to the BSSkin::instance block, and a BSLightingShaderProperty block. 
  • Vertices are stored in a variable length record based on some flags.  There's some uncertainty as to which flag means what, but my assumption as to the flag byte holds true for the meshes I've worked with.
    • The flags specify whether or not the vertex includes normal data, color data, and/or skinning data
    • Vertex position vectors are stored as half(16 bit) float triplets.  Similarly, UV coordinates are stored as two 16 bit floats.
    • Normal vectors are stored as 8 bit triplets (one byte per axis), immediately following the uv coordinates.
    • Tangent vectors are stored as 8 bit triplets (one byte per axis) after the normals, with one byte between. 
    • Bitangent vectors are stored as one half-float value for the X axis, and two 8 bit floats for the y and z components.  This value is scattered among the other data in the vertex record.  
    • the vertex record is:    [ vert x, y, z : 6 bytes][Bitangent X : 2 bytes][UV u, v: 4 bytes][Normal x, y, z 3 bytes][Bitangent Y: 1 byte][Tangent x, y, z 3 bytes][Bitangent z: 1 byte][skinning bone index short int A B C D 8 bytes][skinning weights float A B C D 16 bytes]
  • Triangles are stored logically after the vertex list in a series of short integer triplets.  
  • The SubIndex Section is next, and is somewhat mysterious.  there are two regions within it, and appears to be a segmented list of triangle counts, with triangles being dumped into buckets according to their index in the triangle list.  (IE, triangles in vanilla meshes are stored in a specific order to make this work.).  This section appears to be used for dismemberment (only dismemberment as far as I can tell) .  if you put the total number of triangles into bucket four, it assigns them to "Torso".  Everthing works in the game except dismemberment.  Basically, after triangle list, if you:
    • output the triangle count again,
    • outut unsigned int 4  (for the outer bucket size)  
    • output unsigned int 4 again (for the inner bucket size)
    • output three records of four unsigned ints in the pattern 0, 0, -1, 0
    • output one more record of four unsigned ints with the pattern 0, <triangle count>, -1, 0 
    • it will work fine.
  • Last but not least is a two byte string length indicator followed by a string referencing an .ssf file pertinent to the nif.  Not sure what the .ssf files do
• The BSLightingShaderProperty is expanded a bit but I don't remember exactly how -- just some more values, including string references to the main body shader material file as well as a "wet" shader file.  It also includes a reference to the BSTextureSet block.
• The BSTextureSet block is mostly unchanged, except it has space for 10 strings and not 1.

And that's it.

 

 

 

Caliente I just want to say that YOU ARE MY HERO!!!!  Been waiting for a body mod that's more defined than the usual clothing replacer.  Don't get me wrong they're okay but seem more like an invisible body suit rather than actual nudity.  I'll confess; I'm a nipple guy and the Barbie Doll look just doesn't appeal to me.  You just renewed my hopes!

I'll be waiting to see this go live with high anticipation!

I agree; the vanilla body is actually not to shabby.  Could use some obvious work though and my personal favorite is the UUNP due to its extensive Bodyslide system.  Reminds me a little of that quote from the 6 Million Dollar Man; we have the technology, we can make him better.

I think we should start simple for now; a body replacer to start.  Now from what I understand the Creation Engine is being used for Fallout 4 so porting over the UUNP body shouldn't be to difficult (currently my favorite body mod).  Everything else can wait at this point.

What he said....

 

1. Install bodyslide and run it (has to run outside of skyrim so it can bulid the mesh files).

2. In the outfit/body option (top left corner) choose "Unified UNP Special"

3. In the Preset option (right bellow outfit/body) choose "UUNP - UNP"

4. Click the build button

       This will generate the femalebody_0.nif and femalebody_1.nif and place them into your skyrim location (or into your mod manager over write folder if you use MO).

5. In the outfit/body option choose "Unified UNP Hands"

6. Click the build button

      This will generate the femalehands_0.nif and femalehands_1.nif and place them into your skyrim location...

7. In the outfit/body option choose "Unified UNP Feet"

8. Click the build button

      This will generate the femalefeet_0.nif and femalefeet_1.nif and place them into your skyrim location

 

Next run the texture blend that comes with bodyslide.

In the top left corner choose "body and feet" for the "Set" option (top left corner), then choose "color" for the "Type" option (right bellow set). Then in the center choose which version of the labia that best matches the texture you are using for your unp character.

You can double click on the preview option in texture blend to see what the skin will look like with the labia blended onto it.

Once you find the one that best matches your texture set then hit the blend button (bottom right) and texture blend with create a new texture for your character with the labia built onto it...

Note: Once you do the body texture then you need to do the normal map. So choose "body and feet" again then choose "normal"

And a different list will show up in the center (this time is should just be 1 option) high light it and choose blend.

 

With all of that done you will have replaced 6 meshes (body, hands, and feet - low and high) and adjusted 2 textures (femalebody_1.dds - this is the color texture, and femalebody_1_msn.dds - this is the normal map).

 

Then fire up skyrim and get naked and double check to make sure all seams line up (wrist, ankle, and neck) and the labia shows up and has color to it.

 

And if you want it to work with sexlab mods...

Install the xml files that come with bodyslide and what ever is needed on your end to enable hdt physics on the npcs (can be modified nif's for male hands that enable collision, or the use of the hdt physic's object loaded onto each character... that choice is up to the end user). Oh and use SOS cause it probably doesn't work with SAM or flavored souls male mods...

As long as they don't do something stupid like Mass Effect 3 did; like adding an element that REALLY should have been with the vanilla game.  If its something cosmetic or even a Fallout 4 version of the Gun Runners Arsenal I'd be down for that.  You know something that is like, "thats nice but at least the game can function without it."  I fear most of all a day one DLC that's, "you can't play the damn game at all without this."  Like...removing the ability to use the Pipboy on day one unless you buy the Day One DLC.  THAT WILL REALLY PISS OFF A LOT OF PEOPLE (Hope I didn't give them any ideas).

You guys have it all wrong my system did not died because of OC also i did not make this topic to whine about why my system broke i just report how sometimes things can change alot in few days.

 

I know risk of buying high end and OC plus how to tune a system.

 

In last 15 years most of time i can fix it eventually but sometimes not thats just bad luck.

 

Had never any problems for years with asus mb and videocards. But because of availabillity and research alot about xpower mb i bought MSI just have some bad luck with it.

 

I have mainly fixed most now just not my MB and SSD 2x OCZ vertex 4 i had for over 3 years they eventually died. So bought new SSD.

 

Now i got a i7core 3770k OC to stable 4.2 ghz at moment a AMD 290x i have already for more then 1.5 year and still works fine(cancelded for now Fury X seems shop i order it is in trouble so ask my money back)

 

I'll wait for HMB 2.0 next year and see how i upgrade to next generation.

 

It's all no big deal(worse things in life) that you guys make it bigger then it is, thats your problem not mine.

 

This topic was just to show sometimes something can change quicly to good or bad thats all.

Sorry didn't read that post and I'm sorry to hear that.  It's true though overclocking can sometimes be risky business.  I don't tend to OC unless I really have to or the part was custom designed for overclocking, like my GPU.  I go with stock stats and haven't had any problems so far (knock on wood).

Hope everything clears up friend.  I know the headache and hassle of taking care of your rig.  Its like taking care of your own son/daughter; when he or she gets sick you can't help but work double time to make him/her feel better.

Okay a number of problems I see but lets start with the basics;

1:  Certain SSD makers are kind of like cans of soup; some are good, some are not.  Personally I would have gone with a Western Digital (surprising considering not 8 years ago they were considered the shit that shit took a shit on) or at the very least a Samsung but it doesn't sound like an SSD issue so moving on...

2:  You're using an MSI MOBO.....BLEH!!!!  I'm sorry but my experience with MSI has been nothing but one headache after another.  Do yourself a favor and get an ASUS Sabertooth or an ASUS ROG.  I would suggest the ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero LGA 1151 as its considered the best Intel board currently for gaming.  If you want to stay loyal to AMD products though the ASUS ROG Crossblade Ranger is ideal but its a FM2+ socket.  Really the best gaming MOBO in my honest opinion is the ASUS Sabertooth

You want to get the R2.0 AM3+.  its earlier version is out of date.  Hook that beasty up to a Black Edition AMD 8 Core, give the CPU a Corsair 110 liquid cooler and crossfire two x290s and you'll have a rig that PS4 and XBox One will cry themselves to sleep just thinking of the graphical power (will play even Batman: Arkham Knight non-fixed fairly effectively).

What I like about the ASUS Sabertooth is that it has an effective universal BIOS.  While other AMD boards tend to not like Intel products, mine is sporting a GeForce 780 TI overclock and runs beautifully.  The Sabertooth is one of the few AMD boards that doesn't throw you a big, "FUCK YOU!!!" if you're using Nvidia products.

simple as it sounds I've looked on Nexus, here, MoDdb and Curse.  I'm shocked someone hasn't made a mod like that yet.  I have a thing for extremely long hair and have been waiting for some one to add a physics based hair mod with that.  2012 and still counting; NOBODY HAS EVEN ATTEMPTED IT and its getting disappointing.

Surgeon General usually recommends at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep otherwise problems can occur.  If however you're like my aunt and mother they've gotten used to only 5 hour sleep patterns.  Only time my mom sleeps more than 7 it tends to give her a headache and bad morning sickness.  Some people have different metabolism and sleep patterns so its always best to stick with what you find is more comfortable.  Oversleeping can cause problems so avoid that.

Honestly the ads on this site are not as bad as say the Nexus where turning off Adblock is the equivalent of walking into Las Vegas at night with your pupils dilated.  Also what the admins says is true; you can't run a site like this on only good intentions.  You need revenue, advertising and site management.  HTML isn't as simple as going off Notepad especially with a licensed domain name.  You probably could have pulled it off with old Geocities (not sure if that website service is still around or not) but even then you were limited to posting pics and gifts with the occasional Geocities ad eating up some bandwidth.

In short LoversLab does need the ad revenue to keep trucking.

I'm impartial to Kendo's UNP HDT body.  Well proportioned, healthy and has some with beautiful six packs.  I also like SevenBase as well but only when they're B-cup or smaller.  Anything bigger and I start laughing because I immediately think, "DAMN THE TORPEDOES!!!!" xD.  I'm sorry to say I've never really liked the CBBE body for some reason.  I think its because, to me at least, the nipples look very unrealistic.

Let us have a moment of silence for this site.  If you wanted good MMO news this was where you usually went.  They'll be starting a new site on their own and have a Facebook page along with Twitter.

Ran into a slight problem Mara; there is some dialogue with Bishop concerning wearing an Amulet of Mara.  Unfortunately the graphic for the amulet is missing.  I'm not 100% sure this is a problem with the mod but considering it's the only one affecting the amulets my guess is the mod did something to the amulets of mara (no others are affected).  An aesthetic problem but nothing really serious.

Everything looks good save ONE small detail; The GPU.  Radeon still makes good cards don't get me wrong but you're working with an Intel MOBO.  You MIGHT run into some issues, bottlenecks and incompatibilities.  AMD products and Intel MOBO's usually don't like each other (they function but not as optimal as one would like).  Surprisingly the counter to that is quite the opposite; Nvidia GPU's lay down for AMD boards like lovers.  This mainly stems from Nvidias INCREDIBLE driver support.

I would suggest getting an Nvidia GeForce 750 TI (same one I'm sporting; plays everything at max settings without a problem) or if you want a larger budget go for one of the 900 series.  Don't get me wrong the GPU is good (shit I wish I had a x280 Radeon) but your MOBO could potentially say, "bleh I hates Radeon!"

Politics and religion became banned topics simply because very few intelligent "arguments" ever occurred.  Most of the time those "discussions" devolved into massive rule breaking brawls, which forced moderators to step in and calm things down.  Believe me, all of the moderators here HATE to actually have to use our moderating powers.  We don't have quota's or rewards for the number of warnings handed out each month.  

Frankly, I'd be happy as fuck to never have to warn anyone ever again.

 

Any community that wants to thrive has to have some basic rules and being courteous is one of them.
