  1. Well, if you are using, MO, it doesn't need a fresh install, just a few clicks and you're done. That's way I tend to see it that way - besides, I don't actually play the game anymore. I use it to explore the mods, and for that a lvl 50 preset (or something similar) is more than enough.

No matter - you got it back and running, very well done. As said before, get well soon and nevertheless have a good time.

  2. Hm, you got me there. I doubt that Africans usually put much money into having an expressive haircut. Meaning: Jamaicans do have Rasta, Afro-Americans corn rows (and other, yeah yeah), but what about the born and bred Africans... pearls... knotted... their hair is very thick and hard to press in other forms, so I guess they go for more natural hair styles.

Enough blathering. Did you check KS & Apache both? Should be some base of working within those mods.

  3. Head cheese.. what a strange translation. Never heard of it. But as the myth goes, you Americans don't eat much sausages and parfait (unless us Europeans).

Back to topic: in 15 years you lived through more than I did in my first 30 years. Most of your experiences I can't understand, since I was never even close to that kind of life. But for the sake of understanding you better, I guess that worked well. Damn... it takes balls to live through that and still be mentally sane. My respect.

You know, that might sound idiotic and naive, but with the past like yours, I wouldn't be surprised if you one day manage to become something important to mankind. Cultural, social, musical.. no idea. But you earned the right to become important.

  4. Fuck public attention, fuck positive feedback and fuck the applauding masses. You do that for yourself, to hone your creative skills. Try to see it that way and take the feedback as a bonus. This modern-days addiction to attention and direct feedback (the facebook version of a social live) is nothing but an illusion.

Yeah, I grant you, it is nice to be praised by the masses. But if you make yourself dependent from other people opinion, you lose yourself within your work / creation. You express yourself with your work - you train yourself by creating. Just because most people don't like a certain product doesn't mean that the creator didn't do a damn fine job with it.

But enough of me blathering about philosophy. Looking forward for your work.

  5. Added a "like" on your dark room post - I'm not really in the whole facebook-like-subject, and I hope it didn't seem like I "like" the past you had to live through. It was meant as a sign that I was waiting for you to tell something about yourself.

That's why I post here. Because what you said in this blog entry is... well, it's lacking crucial info about why you think what you do. One can't give proper reply if the story teller remains unknown.

That's that. Good luck to you. Looking forward to reading more from you, young one.
