  1. BodyGen is a new RM feature where you can have all the Bodyslide variations in the game using just one set of mesh, including armors that are made for Boydslide.    The above thread has some very good info but also some unanswered questions with the feature being so new.   Sidetrack for Lizzy or others who have nothing to do than reading gossip - Spoiler BTW, for learning don't read too much into yatol's posts.  Those technical titbits he dropped all over LL are about showing off what he knows than helping.  When I started I was super impressed but equally frustrated with his posts as I could not follow his "directions".  Now after slowly getting my modding knowledge up with the many truly helpful experts on LL to a point where I am now able to comprehend what he posted I realized they were never meant to be instructional and I doubt it's due to language barrier.  Basically if you can follow what he wrote then chances are you don't really need his "help", and if you don't then he just "exposed" you as either too dumb or too lazy.  That passage you quoted is a perfect example.  Personally I think that's how he gets his kicks.
  2. SexLab Extra Voices

MO doesn't place any mod files in the Skyrim folder but instead uses virtual folders somewhere else.  I am not MO user but perhaps your placed the edited sounds into the Skyrim folder but MO is reading only from its virtual folder hence only the "beep" of the original mod sound?  NMM (old NMM prior to 0.6) just puts stuff into the vanilla Skyrim folders so what you see in Skyrim folders is what you get but with MO you need to be diligent in managing how the mod's files are set up within MO to get them into the game.
  3. Lost my mod list. Can I get it back?

OP has a nuked NMM so what's your steps for OP to recover his NMM installed MOD list?    I gave OP option 1 and option 2.  Option 1 is a labor intensive process way of rebuilding NMM's mod profile.  Option 2 is to start over fresh with either NMM 5.6 or MO.  You called my option2 stupid, fine, but without recovering NMM mod install profile eve if the saves are fine now OP still needs to start fresh at some point because any changes not only risk the saves but also Skyrim.  Hence my two options.  All I see in your posts, besides the technical bits that served no purpose to OP other than attacking my post, is to check if the saves are usable, if not then OP is f*cked.  In that case OP still needs to delete Skyrim and start over so we are back to my option 2 again  Even if the saves are usable, OP still won't be able to mod Skyrim without rebuilding a mod manager.  His mod manager is NMM.  Or you simply came here just to trash my posts because I said MO is not the one mod manager that should rule us all.   Apology to OP.  I am stepping off now that the all-knowing MO users have come to help.   EDIT: To OP,yatol is basically saying that had you used MO then you won't need to delete vanilla Syrim EVER so NMM users are stupid and even if you had rebuild your NMM there is no guarantee that you can salvage your saves (but good chance you might) so I am even more stupid.  He is not offering help in getting your NMM back.
  4. Fallout 4 Discussion Thread

Wow, so I started playing with Steam pricing on my VPN with countries I have payment options.  It's RMB199 in China, or a bit over US30.   DLC pass is RMB99.  All-in is less than $50 after tax.  Whoever got the China distribution price this thing to sell, AAA games usually are RMB299 or a bit over $50.  I am almost tempted not to wait for FO4 Legendary Edition sale at $19.99 before-tax in 2017.
  5. Lost my mod list. Can I get it back?

To yatol - before calling someone stupid and again showing off your typical if-you-cannot-read-the-technical-jumble-I-posted-then-you-are-too-dumb post, game saves are located in the Document folder and not the Skyrim folder.  We have no idea if OP had recovered his data in the Documents folder from the HDD crash and had you actually read my post, the delete option is recommended only if OP had decided to rebuild Skyrim.  In which case the decision to forfeit the old saves had already been made.  This is the Technical Support thread so at least consider the OP's situation before showing off your knowledge.  If you use NMM and know how to re-construct NMM's mod list to salvage OP's saves then by all means tell us how.     To the fanboy dropping the typical "MO will save you" line and zero actual help, you just proved my point.  Read the OP's problem.  He lost his HDD and only able to recover some data and not all.  Whether he used virtual folder or not is irrelevant since we don't know what mod data was lost during the HDD carsh.  Again, this is the Technical support thread so if you don't want to help someone using NMM by actually reading the problem in hand then at least don't mislead those seeking help.  As to OP's second question of deciding between NMM and MO to start over that has nothing to do with the problem for which he is seeking help.  MO is a more sophisticated tool but virtual folder is not for everyone and not everyone needs the additional features of MO.  I did recommend MO over NMM 0.6+ in my original post as both managers now use virtual folders which fanboy refused to read because they care more about stating their superiority then helping.     To OP, I apologize my post got you mostly non-helps from those looking to pick apart my advice for their own vanity instead of looking at your problem.
  6. I think LL just crossed the 1500 milestone....
  7. Lost my mod list. Can I get it back?

I am sure you will get a ton of lazy "just use MO" replies but if you are comfortable with NMM there is no reason not to keep using it.  That is unless you were using 0.56 and not the 0.6+ version which is just a ripoff of MO.  I personally like the simplicity of NMM 0.56 and don't want the virtual folders in MO and NMM 0.6+.   Assuming you are on NMM 0.56, the plug-in panel should list all the esp and esm currently in your Skyrim directory while the MOD panel should still list your MOD in uninstalled state.  You can manually compare the esp and esm vs. the mod archives to trace your way back.  Once you locate the correct mod, delete the esp/esm and reinstall the MOD using NMM.  I have done it countless times albeit never had to rebuild my almost 200+ mods.  You might be left with some unused files in your Skyrim folder but no big deal as it won't affect your game play.     To be honest, I think you are better off to delete the Skyrim folder, reinstall from Steam and rebuild your mods using the mod manger of your choice.  Don't mind the MO fanboys, there is nothing inherently wrong with NMM and MO has its own issues as well.  Go with what you are comfortable with because learning the proper mod usage technique like file and folder structures in Skyrim matters far more than whether you are using MO or NMM.
  8. God, what have we done!

Normally I don't like people just said "use MO" whenever people seek technical help because 9 out of 10 times that has nothing to do with the problem but this is that 1.    NMM 0.6 is completely different from 0.56 and since you have reinstalled NMM chances are you are now on 0.6.  NMM 0.6 is really a crappy imitation of MO and here is the support for 0.6 in case you want to salvage your Skyrim: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/52647-nmm-060-important-infos-help-tips-tricks/   If your Skyrim is nuked my advice are: 1. delete your Steam Skyrim folder and start over. 2a: reinstall MOD with NMM 0.561.  Don't listen to the MO fanboys, there is nothing wrong with using NMM 0.561 (turn off update notice).  I use it and NMM has never been the source of my Skyrim problem.  A nail gun is not necessarily better than a hammer.  If you were fine with NMM before then you will still be fine. 2b: forget about NMM 0.6+ and go through MO's learning curve.  MO has its own issues as well but NMM0.6 is not plug-and-play like NMM 0.56 so you might as well invest the time in a better tool.
  9. Have you tried the instructions included in ousnius's CharGen utility?  http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/61336/?   BTW, that is a very nice character.  Do you mind sharing it on this thread?   http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36607-share-your-racemenu-preset-slot-file/
  10. Download does not appear to be working at the moment, just let the site upgrade finishes its course.  CPU's follower tutorial is the most current and it's about as easy to follow as it gets.    Didn't know there is a "just use Tes5edit" guy, the ones that pissed me off is the "just get MO" guy.  9 out of 10 times MO has nothing to do with the poster's problems but those people just reflexively type that to anyone seeking help.   EDIT: Since changing body is just about changing the file path, using Tes5edit is far faster than using CK.
  11. Have you looked into the script of Sima light?  http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66629/?   I am wondering what's your opinion of its mechanics.  The effect does not appear to be as finely tuned as Facelight but seems to be to more flexible.   Right now I am using Facelight + Rail Light.  Facelight for me and Rail Light for NPC.
  12. I am hoping you can get permission from tktk1 to integrate Facelight into your mod so to add a white light option as well as a version with stronger intensity.
  13. HowTo Dick with NifSkope

Is there a good place for mesh resource?  I am looking for something slimy.
  14. Getting Bijin mods to use default mesh was what led me down the rabbit hole that is Skyrim modding and here...   I don't know why you don't want to use Tes5edit as it's perfect for this task.  Get CPU's follower guide here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49585-tutorial-to-create-a-follower/  and read the section about custom bodies.  What you need to do is to point the NPC's skin to the default mesh file path and that's basically it, as long as your body use the same branch of texture as Bijin's (UNP/CBBE etc).  You can also point them to any path to give Bijin unique bodies.
  15.   The pose.  In scene1 the legs are supporting downward weight across its length so in order for the pelvic to thrust horizontally it needs to be detached from its joints with the thighs.
  16. Non-SexLab Animation Pack

As an user I hate to see any pressure on Rydin to spend time on NSAP for 1.59 if he is already using 1.6.  NSAP 1.59 is bug free and SL1.59 development has ceased.  Anyone who doesn't want to move on because 1.6 might have problems at the moment should be happy with the contents already provided.  Legacy support is for profit-seeking companies looking to build loyalty so they can profit from future upgrades.  It's a cost center and practically nobody enjoy working at cost centers.  Don't turn a hobby that makes you happy into a job.
  17. Scene 1 doesn't look right unless Dragon Priests have elastic pelvic joints.  They might, I am not familiar with TES lore.
  18. Need some help with a gpu for a new pc

It's probably better you let people know what big brands are available in your location and at what price level.    For example, Antec is probably the best value-for-money brand in terms of quality but where I currently am it's all local brands at those price points.  For some reason local people at these budgets only want flashy cases with throw-in PSU that are usually crap.
  19. Need some help with a gpu for a new pc

Another PSU snob here.  You can't go wrong with any of the brands listed by CGI but I am bias toward Seasonic as well because it's where the other big brands go to if they need to impress reviewers (many top Cosair and XFX PSU are rebranded Sasonic).   Power usage calculation is tricky but most guides are based on the bottom of the barrel PSU.  A good 550W can easily perform as well as a el cheapo 700W.  Currently running slightly overclocked 980+i5+8GB+1ssd+1hdd on a 7 years old Seasonic 550W.  Using online charts my system load is around 275-450W and most places would recommend nothing below a 700W for my setup.  A system builder was saying the same thing especially given the PSU is 7 years old until he saw the PSU is a Seaonic.
  20. More Nasty Critters

The Mega archive is fine.  It's the info.xml for the fomod install that's showing 9.0 instead of 9.3.    It's a problem because whenever I got an update notice I forgot that I already have 9.3 because info.xml is telling me the version I have is 9.0.
  21. More Nasty Critters

FYI info.xml for version 9.3 still says it's 9.0.  I kept download the file over and over because it shows 9.0 until I checked the archive.
  22. Bodyslide combining body types

The author of Bodyslide cell replied to a similar post of mine in UUNP that mixing and matching traits of specific body parts from different presets is not possible with UUNP Bodyslide.  CITRUS is/was? supposed to be "that" system but we don't know when/if it will be released.
  23. More Nasty Critters

Given the vast expansion and importance of MNC and NSAP and that SL has difference mechanics for creatures and humanoids, I am wondering how does actorDaedra get called in mods.  Dremora uses humanoid animations but is actorDaedra so it falls within the scope of MNC.  Does it not take advantage of NSAP?
  24. Does the cell need to be interior or the wild/city is OK?  What is the condition for bed/bedroll requirement?   I seem to recall for City Pro aka away team the sex act only happens at the player's bed at that particular city's home so it's very specific in its location.
  25. Some text Are Boxes

Looking at your attached pic (duh, should've check that first ), it's 99% likely from a non-English follower mod with Nord race in its original language.  Uninstall the mod and you will be fine (or you can use Tes5edit to fix it).  It's a common problem.
