How to Remove Custom Body/Face Textures from Custom NPC's?
zzz72w3r replied to Zenik's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
Armor and Armor Addons are not just cloth/armor but also how you assign bodies different from default to NPC. Messing with Bijin is going to be tricky because they are not simple followers. Personally I have not touched them because the author is still working on Bijin but at some point I might consider consolidate the body and texture file paths. You can see where the parts are pointing to in Tes5edit and having them all point to the same sets of body/texture instead of one for each might save VRAM. I am guessing the author didn't bother because you are not suppose to have that many Bijin NPC together in one scene. As for using default body and textures, for simple followers, and I cannot stress enough simple because most good follower mods are not simple followers, I usually just delete body related armor/armor addon in Tes5edit except the face parts and correct the path under NPC to default. Most of the time the followers will just take on whatever body/texture replacer mods I have installed but sometimes they look like crap or even CTD. If Tes5edit does not work you have to reverse engineer the creation process of said custom NPC in CK so you basically have to learn how to making standalone NPC. This is the guide helped me getting started: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25673/? -
How to Remove Custom Body/Face Textures from Custom NPC's?
zzz72w3r replied to Zenik's topic in Skyrim Technical Support
I have done it many times with Tes5edit: Pointing the body parts to vanilla path and delete the custom textures. This will allow the custom NPC to use vanilla and save a ton of VRAM. Or you can consolidate the textures to a single folder other than vanilla, this also saves memory. Caveats: 1. Be careful with the head parts so not resulting in strange face. 2. Not all esp are created equal. I have had several custom follower CTD after I edited them with Tes5edit. The author of Tes5edit said this could happen if the follower was created with utility rather than CK, which is not uncommon. In that case you have to use CK to change the path instead of Tes5edit. Or just use CK always, even if it's pain in the ass. 3. You have to do this whenever the author update his/her mod. -
Radiant Prostitution 3.2.2 (29-Oct-2015)
zzz72w3r replied to WraithSlayer's topic in Downloads - SexLab Framework
Thanks for picking up the mod. Can you expand the tutorial from the original mod for how to replace the tavern cloth as the trigger outfit for RP3.0? I wanted RP to use its own unique outfit instead of tavern cloth so not to affect vanilla NPC behavior. I know I can add outfit but was afraid removing the keyword from tavern cloth will break something. -
And how do those posts not belong in "Is this a good community?" thread? Would you and your family choose to share your last moments on earth with LL if you don't feel this is a good community? I personally wouldn't and your post is the reason. germanicus believed otherwise which is why people in this community cared about his passing. If that's not reason enough of a good community I don't know what else to say.

Just read these and you will understand (start with the top post of each thread)... http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49810-this-is-good-bye-to-wonderfull-ll-community/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49895-rip-germanicus/ If you don't know who germanicus is, just know this, his 7000 posts contained nothing but goodwill and encouragement. Something very few of us can say for ourselves.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49895-rip-germanicus/ You are at a better place now, our love and prayers...

My sincerest condolence for your loss. germanicus' posts were always warm and civil, a very rare quality in the faceless online world and speaks volume of the kind of person he must been in real life. EDIT: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/49810-this-is-good-bye-to-wonderfull-ll-community/#entry1249430 I had no idea... EDIT2: I forgot that germanicus always used lower case and edited the capital G out of my original post. My apology, germanicus.

You load the nif file under Sculpt mode. nif files are far more superior than jslot in preserving the looks across different players.

New portal to share Skyrim presets :)
zzz72w3r replied to DaXmAn's topic in Skyrim General Discussion
Depending on whether you use ECE or RM. I now only use RM because all the new mods are built around RM and its head nif import function. With RM you load the preset (jslot) or the head nif (.nif) under Preset tab (for jslot) and Sculpt tab (for nif). Look for the tabs on the upper right of your screen. The Preset tab also tells you where to put the files. With preset files you need to have the same mods with the original author to have the same look or it can be WAY off. This is true with ECE or RM. On the other hand nif import will get you very close even without matching mods. -
I assume by notepad file you meant jslot? There is no load preset command (F9) under Sliders tab (top right of your screen). You load the preset under the Preset tab, the one next to the Sliders tab.
-
I just tried 5.01 and the sliders are very daunting to say the least. I think as with most users I will likely depend on other's presets to properly enjoy CITRUS. A slider or prepackaged presets of existing popular shapes (UNP/CBBE/TM/DG/7B etc) would ease the transition immensely for us.

Prepacked HDT-SM - HDT Skinned Mesh Physics with Modding Guide
zzz72w3r replied to Uhuru N'Uru's topic in HDT Physics Extension
You need the new SMP as well. Old SMP works with OpenCL1.2 and the new SMP works only with OpenCL2.0 or you will CTD. Use the links from HydrogensaysHDT's 3DM page in my above post. Heavy CPU load, chances are you are using old, now obsolete SMP prior to 5/22. CTD, chances are you are using post 5/22 SMP with OpenCL1.2 instead of OpenCL2.0. -
Prepacked HDT-SM - HDT Skinned Mesh Physics with Modding Guide
zzz72w3r replied to Uhuru N'Uru's topic in HDT Physics Extension
Original SMP uses OpenCL 1.2 but had serious problems with CPU load according to her testers. HydrogensaysHDT redid SMP but it now requires OpenCL 2.0, which is only supported in Intel and AMD drivers. There is no version label on SMP but if you got the file prior to 5/22 then it's the old SMP. http://bbs.3dmgame.com/thread-4497700-1-1.html Latest SMP is in the Baidu link. She also has links for AMD and Intel OpenCL 2.0 drivers for Nvidia users to try. Note that HydorgensaysHDT just overwrites the SMP file when she updates and the only thing indicative of the version is the date stamp on Baidu. -
ECE preset is dependent on the mods used by the original creator. You need to get the author's precise mod list to get similar result. The best way to use faces created by someone else is now with Racemenu3+. It has a nif import function under its sculpt mode where you can replicate almost any standalone follower's face simply by taking the nif file in its facegen folder. Vice versa if you want to share your face all you need to do is to export the head nif and people don't need to worry about matching your mods.

Same advice as btooka. LOOT or Tes5edit is always first call with CTD before main menu but it sounds like your save needs some cleaning too: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? Also, "switch to MO" is no magic cure. Too many people just type that whenever someone uses NMM asks for help. The choice of NMM/MO is almost never the cause of people's problems but some people seem to care more about telling you their mod manager is better than actually looking at your problem.

[Request] Need name for these beautiful Followers
zzz72w3r replied to saunai's topic in Skyrim Adult Mods
@saunai 1. I think buchen's followers are all UNP/UNPB with SG Renewal. 2. I think that's Snow? I don't think it was ever released. @JRCosta Have you tried the textures here? Your link said it's from an old mod: http://bbs.3dmgame.com/thread-3397168-1-3.html -
I am trying to create a holographic character by modifying the ghostability spell effect. First thing I did was to uncheck the particle shader to remove the bloom, and the resulting solid shape is good. However, I noticed that the shader effect is not uniform. The character is very bright on top (face) and fades towards the bottom (leg). This makes sense for a ghost but not for a hologram. I tried messing around with the filler texture ghostshadergrad.dds by expanding the middle portion of the dds and the result looked terrible and still getting the too bright face. I have no idea what I was doing with Gimp so I might have done it wrong. I am also looking at the EffectShader panel in Special Effects in CK but I have no idea what it means. How can I make the FXShader effect uniform covering the entire character? Also, is it possible to apply magic effect (FX shader) only to the character and not to the weapon? The idea is to have the hologram holding a solid weapon/equipment. Lastly, is it easy to mess with the particle shader effect to something similar to hologram and not ghost? I am guessing it's possible but I want to know if it's doable for someone with no clue how shader works. Thanks

Is Sexlab Compatible with Dreamgirl2 or R18Pn Inner Wear
zzz72w3r replied to Pyreite's topic in SexLab Framework
You guys meant Dream Girl 0.2 and not Dream Girl 2.0, right? There isn't even a Dream Girl 1.0. -
No for mixing subtitle with voiced lines in the same scene but Great if voiced lines is used strategically. Low budget RPG does this all the time but it's tricky to get the right mix. Doing it wrong is actually worse than not having voiced lines.

Author moved it to a new release. Someone contested copyright regarding one of the original's mesh I think. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67034/? Also, this is the proper thread for asking. Moderator frowns on people starting new thread for this kind of stuff: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19129-where-can-i-find-non-adult-skyrim-requests/

[CLOSED] Project C.I.T.R.U.S. - Old WIP thread
zzz72w3r replied to blabba's topic in Skyrim Adult Mods
With CITRUS (future release version), what kind of scripting is needed to assign specific body preset to NPC? Scripting does add a high barrier to entry for people seeking to personalize NPC body shape vs. the current point-to-a-nif method. -

Perhaps people want to use the Bodyslide version for making standalone follower mods? It's something I am curious about as well now that CITRUS is in-game morph only. -

Share your Racemenu preset (slot file).
zzz72w3r replied to xenic's topic in Skyrim General Discussion
Preset (.jslot): Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen\Presets head nif (.nif): Data\SKSE\Plugins\CharGen It's better to include both jslot and nif files for share.
