I haven't logged into LL for a couple of weeks,  and am greeted with this. He was a very cool guy, made me laugh and I even spoke to him privately a couple of times. He never had a mean thing to say about anyone.    He must be having a hell of a time chasing elves or angels or whatever afterlife or reincarnation he may have believed in.   R.I.P germ.

There's quite a few mods Matchmaker comes to mind for your 'wham-bam-thankya-ma'am' needs.

I'm not bisexual or lesbian, I simply want my game to look pretty. Simple as that. And it's hilarious when my bf glances over at my screen and drools over the current outfit I'm decorating a character with.

There's more and more donation versions of mods on the review page(Which seems to be fully functional again), but this is still not the right way. Beth and Valve (gotdamn nexus least of all... seriously wtf) should not get a cut at all from the modders work for fucks sake.   

What a lot of these new mod creators that think they're going to be a quick buck are going to be in for a surprise if they make enough and have to deal with the taxes at IRS time. How many of them are going to know what to do or what forms to file, and if they're out of country, dealing with country tax and whatever else hiccups.    I'm still pissed off that Valve had the nuts to say 'Well, it's out there, fair game..." (Basically fuck IP rights of the little guys, WE'RE GONNA MAKE SOME MONEY!!!") And I'm super pissed off that the modders went:     It stinks, all of it. people want to make monies, I do, you do, everyone does. There's other ways to get it done without Beth and Valve fucking piggybacking and taking the lions share. It just smells like molding rotten conspiracy to money grub off of peoples hard work without lifting a damn finger.

  He was actually charging a couple of dollars for the Castle Volkihar Rebuilt mod. I wonder what happened to make him unlist it. (He's a pompous asshat either way. I hate his attitude so.. damn.. much..)

  He actually had a note buried in the description (fairly it was at the top but not prominent in the first paragraph) Saying it wasn't going to have custom animations and there was an outside link you had to go to which had an explanation that you needed FNIS. I pointed out to the boyfriend about an hour ago and asked him what Fores would think. Then, we are treated to the outraged answer.

  If you look, there's quite a few mods that are going up for sale that are basically satire. I don't think this guy or the one that said "hey here's a bloody rag, some trash and a plate I made, pay me" are seriously thinking they are going to get approved. I for one hope that the workshop gets flooded with this kind of thing.

  Holy shit, so, unless you have a shitton of litigation push like big corporations have, you're basically fucked if you created real content and they want to use it. Chesko just lost all my respects with that weaselly answer of his about how it's 'fair game'. There's respect in the field and then there's this. I don't give a damn if he's giving refunds -after the fact- He tried to do it to begin with that's enough for me. Hasn't even been 24 hours (12 even?) and the evil of it is coming to light.

  Pure waters creator has already put all her/(his?) mods into Purity and is on the market. I has a sad.   What's going to happen to those people who pay for these mods when the game updates and the mod they bought (and is no longer being updated) breaks, or doesn't work with a newer mod they want it to work along side and the content breaks their saves/games/blablabla stuff we hear 10 trillion times a day. And how are updates to those mods they purchased (*facepalm*) going to happen, do they have to pay for new updates too? (like mini-mini (ultra mini?/nano?) transactions?)

I'm really saddened to see this. I had been taking a little break since it's such a hard thing to learn, this modding and I love it dearly and I find this mess of greed.   I was reading through the comments for some and at least Chesko said his mods would still be free on nexus.    Still. There seems something very wrong and I'm wondering if mods are going to start disappearing from the nexus as people try to jump on the pay bandwagon (This can't seriously be a thing...) As we speak, more and more mods are hopping on the paid list...(Oh my god it is a thing...) Donating is one thing, charging the equivalent of the FULL GAME SALE PRICE is entirely another. Yes, money is hard to come by for a lot of people right now. I'm still jobless after 2 years because I'm either overqualified or under qualified. (I can't even get a fucking job at a fast food place because they 'won't be able to give me enough hours to be happy'... Bitch please. Anyway that's neither here nor there)   My point is, people haven't got money to frizzle away on the silly extra stuff. We donate when we can and we give what we can because we know it was hard work. We love that dedication and care went into this stuff. Hell, some of us try it ourselves and find it -seriously- overwhelming and get a much bigger appreciation for the talent it takes to make a decent mod.   What's going to happen with those mods that piggy back off others that are free? Like SKSE, and such? My brain can't even comprehend this right now.
