Definitely not 'new' but I'm definitely still in a position where I can benefit from some newb advice when it comes to modding. It can be a pain in the ass to get goo relevant information about everything. I'll take a look at that and hopefully it'll help. I really Need to get this finished before the school year starts up again cause otherwise it'll be a full nother year before I'll really have time to set all this stuff up right so I can finally play @__@; T__T I wanna play my Sexr- I mean Skyrim . . .

I mean the mods that the merged one merged together. I've been letting loot sort out what to do with the Merged Plugin. I just am not sure what to do with the mods that lets me take out of my esp load order. Do I simply un-tick the check boxes on the left pane, or on the right pane, or do I need to do something more complicated? I'm also wondering, if I put mods in a merged plugin that Don't normally Have an esp anyway do they actually end up in the merged plugin - aka, if I click it and it doesn't add an ESP and I had tried merging it, does that mean it wasn't merged and I need to check mark it on my left pane? Oh, and if Mod Organizer says something doesn't need checked in the eps load order, and I untick it and it's checked in archives, is it still counting against my load order total?
-
Okay, one last dumb question about merging plugins. The guides I've watched aren't really clear on what to do After you have your merged patch, with the mods you used to make the patches. I only know you leave them in your MO mod folder. It says to uncheck something. I've Been unchecking the Mods themselves. Is that what I'm supposed to do? Or just the esps? Or do I need to like, delete the esps and check the mods still . . . or something else I haven't considered?

Oh, and NPCs, Like, There are a TON of errors when I check things like Interesting NPCs, So I'm guessing Ones like that can't be... But what about reskins of current NPCs and more basic followers? And can I merge armors Before I bodyslide them, or should I only ever do it After?
-
So there won't be any problems as long as I don't do duplicate bodyslidy stuff. . .? I Do have a bit of trouble after DLing and re-DLing so many mods so many times. @_@ And it's fine to merge equipment that isn't bodyslide enabled with stuff that is right? (I assume merging Devious Devices stuff would be an explosively bad idea cause of scripting and the dependance of other SexLab mods on it... Generally I'm not touching LL stuff for mod merging >.<; *cheekan* ) Also Is it. . . Safe to merge SAM related stuff, including the body together? I would assume not since the MCM menu and scripting for SAM to properly effect NPCs, but other worries I had have been squished already tonight so I might as well stab at another one xD Also wondering if It's... plausible to merge animations together? I would think no, but...

I can't even get MO to load Remodeled Armor CBBE Replacer. At all. Not even PRETENDY. Also, I didn't mean merge Bodyslide itself. What you said makes sense and I feel half silly, but that doesn't tell me whether it's safe to merge armors that have bodyslided components that I put in the bodyslide folder. Is it? *melodramatic worry* WILL THEY EVEH FIND EACHOTHA???

Hey, if you can get 500ish mods working with NMM more power to you! I keep bumbling around. I'll get things Mostly working or how I want and then find another problem to fix, and I have that "Cannot QUIT NOW" mentality with this kind of thing so I keep trying xD It did take me a bit to really get used to using MO, but with how much I mess up I would be lost without it @.@; Doesn't help that I'm Highly impatient and cannot wait to carefully test a handul of mods at once, nono, I have to get Everything I can cram in there at once to try @.@ .... Any suggestions on merging equipment with the bodyslide components so that the batch builds and the armors themselves don't like, get messed up or can't find one another? (does that even make sense???)

>.O I remember when I used to use NMM. If you ever decide it's not working out for you, Mod Organizer is Amazing. NMM fucks with your base game. MO doesn't. If you decide you've completely fucked up you can just chuck the mods and don't have to worry about your base game being messed up. And you can use the profiles to check out different mods and stuff. ^__^ Thank you all very much for your input, I think I might have some ideas of what to do now to hopefully cram these mods a lil tighter >;D

I have Wrye Bash, but I don't really actually use it, I don't really understand that one very well. I use the TES5Edit one, and yes, the 1.9 version I'm fairly certain. The most recent one of about . . . maybe a month ago? I'm shocked how many of the mods I got again have updated since I got them at the beginning of the summer @.@;

What about mods that are dependent on stuff like the Apachi skyhair and such? The ones that pitch a fit about those being missing? (Not actually sure I have any of those this go round but best to be safe)

okay so I'm installing "My HD Textures" with MO now, once that's done do I need to do anything (aka. Delete) with the HD patches in my main Skyrim folder, or? *Also Massive Thanks for the help
-
I notice the texture optimizer in your guide requires some Microsoft things. Is the optimizer a "need that" or a "It's just very nice and helpful" or a "It's not necessary but it will make a serious and massive and almost vital difference"?
-
*putters around and works on that*

I had trouble with Skyrim 2K HD. MO didn't seem to like them, so I just skipped them. . . Should I install them manually? And if so, suggestions on doing that so as to not murder or damage Skyrim would be awesome. I'm trying my best to avoid having to go through the whole reinstalling that from scratch thing ever again.

Removing the extra Masser and Secunder moon resizes reduced my load order by 24 esps xD
