I doubt it. Version 5 doesn't reference, change, or require perks of any kind. That may change in the future, depending on whether our illustrious author decides to add perk-based or skill-based speech checks.

Sexlab 1.6 ups the cap on animations so you don't need to delete them, just uncheck them.   To delete them, you'd need to edit the scripts that contain the registry and recompile.

  I don't use SkyRe, but I think all it does is alter the vanilla race stats and skills a bit, yes? This mod should be fine.

  Don't sweat it. Nobody reads. I've been guilty of that myself.   I'm considering constructing a computer program that will reconfigure the hardware into a fully-functional robot that will do an interpretive dance instead.

I believe that Colorful Magic is just the same vanilla spells with different imods, lights, etc? If so, it should be just fine.

Okay, looking at your new pics, I'd say the balance of probability is that you've got a corrupted file. Try redownloading it.   I have absolutely no idea why Word would be working for you, but if it does, good.

Wordpad shows pretty much the same... a bit compressed in order to fit on a printable page, but same thing. Adobe Dreamweaver shows the same. Visual Studio 2012 refuses to open it for some reason. Microsoft Word just shows a blank page... IIRC there was a Word version a few years ago that saved things as some proprietary .xml format so that's safe to ignore.   That's about it for my windows-based programs though.

Whoa... umm, okay. Hmm.   That doesn't look like any xml file I've seen... unless there's something new out there, maybe a program that's using "xml" as an extension without it being a standard .xml file. What file is that? What are you trying to edit?

I'd guess it depends on the spell. I've given followers nonvanilla scrolls (from Apocalypse spells) and they do seem to use some of them properly.

I'd recommend just using Notepad++ then. Like I said, it's a plaintext file of a markup language (unless something has changed recently, or another program is using an .xml extension ) so you should be able to save it there.

I use Dreamweaver, but that costs actual money. I'm pretty sure that Notepad++ has an .xml plugin. Even without a plugin, it should format okay. Microsoft wordpad might work.   Thing is, you can open it up in any plain text editor, since it's just a markup language and not actual code.

I just realized that this should have been an intermission. I mean, so far intermissions have come after chapters 9, 18, and 27, so one should have come after chapter 36, right? To continue the pattern?   Ah well, after I finish up Dawnguard I'll probably put in another poll asking where Mace should go next. Why not? A whole 10 people responded last time!   The Wayshrine of Something-Or-Other, I can never remember their damn names. I think it's the second one you come to - not Gelebor's shrine, and not the one closest to the exit from Darkfall cave, but the one down near the water, near the waterfall that Serana exhorts you to not fall down, that when you fall down takes you eventually back into Darkfall cave.   Beautiful directions, no?

  If you use Aroused Creatures, you can set the arousal value down to zero, so they're always aroused. Also, you might consider browsing the support thread for MNC - a lot of people have problems where they have penises on always, which they don't want... but you could try to replicate their "bugs" to get what you do want.

  Yeah, it was a long shot, but worth a look. I didn't see anything there that would account for that.   I wonder if it's related to a common vanilla bug where some NPCs are duplicated over and over again. It used to happen to me a lot with Louis Letrush, where if he died he'd respawn just outside of Whiterun, and if I killed his duplicate, a few days later two of them would spawn there, rinse and repeat ad nauseum like some sort of demented hydra-gone-wrong... but IIRC the Unofficial Patches fixed it somewhere along the line. Thing is, I'm not sure if it fixed the bug itself, or just how it affected Louis Letrush... Are they all the same Thalmor agents? I mean, I know it's hard to tell one of those ectomorphic elven bastards from another, but were they, like, all male, all female, all wearing hooded robes, all elven armor, etc?
