  1. What's on my mind?

    Literally, a concave surface of hard, whitish, calcified material topped with a thin layer of tissue covered in a thatch of vellus and terminal strands of keratin.

    You may guess from this that I am a mammal. As such, I am possessed of two occipital condyles. Two, not one. If you are a biology student and you persist on maintaining that mammals only have one, I may be forced to prove to you otherwise, using a small mirror and a large, rusty hammer. I hope you have a high pain threshold.

    It's probably better to just accept that you have two.

    Other mistakes that may result in an impromptu lesson with improvised surgical implements include mixing up "maxilla" and "mandible," and a failure to understand that "polydactyly" is completely different from "dactyl" despite the etymologies.
