I understand that storage space is something of a problem, right? I'd recommend, when you make this one read-only and move it over, to delete everything on it on or before November 2. Just treat this as a one-month slice cut out of the old site.

Sorry to see it end like that - it's been rough on you, I know. In general, I do prefer the old format more, I think mostly because I'm not completely used to this one yet - but there will be a couple of things I do miss about this new format.
Ah, well. Maybe some day.

QuoteI do have data/scripts/source, but none of those contains the archive.
Sorry... what I meant was the scripts.rar file will be in your data folder, not data/scripts/ or any subdirectories.
QuoteI do remember having that archive and extracting it before, but I have no idea where it came from, where it went or how I can get it again...
It came with a Creation Kit patch (not a Skyrim patch like I thought). If you still don't have it, I suppose you could uninstall and then reinstall the creation kit, that would probably put it back in there. Or just try validating the CK, maybe that'll work too.

I recommend starting with the Sexlab Index.
Or, you could just go through them all one at a time starting here.

Hmm... it should be there, assuming your Skyrim is up to date.
Bethesda released a patch (of sorts) this year... can't remember exactly when, I think it was a month or two ago, and that included downloading the source scripts in an archive to the data folder.
It played merry hell with my development at the time, had to reset a bunch of stuff to get it all working again.
EDIT: I just reread your post (sorry), and you say you... you don't have a data folder?
I'm confused...

In the scripts RAR archive, under scripts/source/hearthfire.
The archive should be in your data folder.

Is that the one from Bleak Coast cave, or is that the one from the Beastess lair? I can't remember which is which.

Half-life 2: Magnusson would have to top my list.
Starcraft 2: Tychus. That asshole irritated me from the first moment he opened his mouth, all the way until he dies.
Solitaire: Three of hearts. The fucker never shows up when you want it.
Morrowind: Maurrie Aurmine and Nelos Onmar. JUST WALK DOWN THE ROAD AND TALK TO EACH OTHER DIRECTLY, YOU STUPID TWITS. This complaint is also applicable to pretty much any NPC that wants you to walk back and forth a dozen times to get the job done. So... pretty much every quest giver in the game, I suppose.
Oblivion: If I don't count voice acting that gets on my nerves... Thurindil. And Glarthir. Bolwing too. Oh, and the Adoring Fan. Hmm... maybe I'm just prejudiced against Bosmer.
Skyrim: Malborn, Estormo, Nazeem.
Fallout 3: It's really tough to choose between Dad, Colin Moriarty, Three-Dog, Eden, and Autumn. I suppose in the end the edge has to go to Dad, the self-absorbed idiot.
New Vegas: Oliver Swanick, hands down.
Tomb Raider (2013): Sam.
XCOM: Annette.
Fallout 2: Devon/Miria.
Sims 2: Random dogs who wander into my front yard and dig holes, knock over dustbins, and destroy garden fixtures.

I had no idea there were slave market posters in there. How long have they been in this mod? I'm sadly out of date...
Anyway, the bigger size is because I was reading through this support thread from the very beginning and came across a post from Xluxlu from last January or so that said if I needed sound effects, he could do them. So I asked him to make ambient auction noise.
Yeah, I missed that. Nifty!
Please let me know what you think. The auctioneer's cadance is just meant to be background noise, so it doesn't match what's actually going on. Is that off-putting?
I haven't been able to run Sexlab properly since 1.6, so I can't check it out in-game... but just listening to the file sounds pretty good to me.
Other big changes - Deviously Cursed Loot has been added. You can choose from the Damsel in Distress, Bondage Adventure, Cursed Collar, and the Rubber Doll scenarios.
I have revamped the way the auction runs. Now the scenario that the player will be going to is picked before the auction, so I can create custom auctions for each scenario. Also, the prices have been dropped significantly to match what the general consensus of slavery modders seemed to feel would be accurate prices.
Let me know what you think! More stuff coming soon! Ish!

I see Simple Slavery 4.0 just went up. It's 4 times the size of the last version... what's new?
Or am I jumping the gun on the dl page update? Sorry about that...
EDIT: Derp, it's the audio. Duh.

I recommend checking out the Sexlab Index too. It has links to every SL-based mod here, and short descriptions of each.

Okay... who exactly is Bane? If a downloaded follower (and not, for example, a non-English language translation of somebody's name or something), could you provide a link? And what other mods are you using? Have you considered attaching a papyrus log? Are you certain this mod is at fault? When exactly does the game crash, before or after sex? Does the game crash when you have sex with any other NPCs, or just this "Bane" person? If you are certain it's this mod that's the problem, could you disable this mod and try sex with anyone else, see if it still happens?
I've got to say, I'm pretty sure that isn't my mod. The scripts from this mod are laughably simple, and they don't do much other than just trigger sex. They won't cause any CTD issues unless some other mods are also causing CTDs on sex, and they certainly wouldn't cause any actors to die, much less everyone including the player.
p.s. Thank you Thermius, for teaching me how to quote people properly. Seems to be working fine now.

Dude... you should seriously start writing a playthrough blog. I mean, I'd read it.

YOU try being sold to a master who anally rapes you continuously for days and then tell me you can find somewhere to sit. Nope, not happening here.

2 hours ago, DocClox said:You know, I've always thought that was a false dichotomy. RPGs are where you design a character and choose a background and then play that part in the setting provided. FPS is a presentation format. Just saying.
First Person Shooter, Frames Per Second, Four Point Surround-sound, Feet Per Second... None of those apply. It's actually Framing Pattern Sequence for pulse code modulation in a 12-bit sequence. I've been trying to teach the internet for years that FPS should really be FPSPCM_110111001000 but nobody wants to hear my progressive views.
2 hours ago, DocClox said:See, this is to my mind is why it's wrong to characterise this as a hate thread. It's not that we hate the game. We love the franchise and the setting; this is more about venting frustration, Because grabbing Todd Howard by the lapels and shaking him until his teeth rattle while shouting "WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING" would probably get us arrested, and venting a little on an internet forum seems like a far more socially acceptable way to let off some steam.
But the vast majority of readers respond to the internet as if it were a completely boolean system. Black and white, you know. My way or the highway. The concept that you can criticize something while still enjoying it is an alien one for some reason. Couple that with the fact that most people see disagreement as a personal attack, and here we are.

That's one of my major gripes. Easy fix, though.
Everything before that was the Gamebryo Engine. If we include Gamebryo then Morrowind was kind of klunky graphics wise (but then I played it well after FO3 came out so that was to be expected). I did like the UI; It's a shame thy moved away from the approach, really.
Morrowind was designed for the PC and then ported to consoles. The Morrowind UI does not work very well on consoles. Everything since then has been designed for both platforms.
Or, depending on who you ask and how vitriolic they're feeling, Oblivion and on was designed for consoles and the PC was just an afterthought.
The whole "FO4 is FPS not RPG" argument ties in neatly with the consoles-vs-PC thing too. I can't speak to that directly, because I haven't bought FO4 and don't intend to for at least a year, but it's occasionally amusing to listen in on the various shouted pro and con arguments.
Oblivion had Cyrodiil populated by Cabbage Patch Kids for some reason and the girls showed a lot less skin the the default game than they did when I finished modding it. The UI was fine though; although it needed a mod to size everything for monitors rather than TV screens.
I remember the first time I tried to create an actual attractive person in Oblivion. It took hours, and by the end of it it still ended up looking like some sort of demented doll.
There are a couple of reasons the devs went more puritanical in Oblivion, and I can't agree with any of them. But hey, mods to the rescue, right?
FNV wasn't actually a Beth game, but it looked much the same as FO3: the girls were a little less styled, the faces were a little uglier (IMO - I know many people would disagree) the interface defaulted to orange and the pallet was a bit brighter
Identical engine, one or two minor tweaks. In my opinion, FNV is a very good example of what a large team of dedicated modders can do to a game... they took Fallout 3 and made a western Total Conversion.
I don't generally find that to be true. In oblivion I must have tried half a dozen different character types and play styles just to see how they'd work out. I had a good time with most of them.
The only character types/playstyles that worked well for me in:
Morrowind: Warrior
Oblivion: Warrior or rogue
Skyrim: Warrior, rogue, mage
By extrapolation, by Elder Scrolls 6 I'll finally be able to play a Cleric, and by Elder Scrolls 29 I'll get to play a half-ogre multiclassed bard-monk!

GODDAMN IT.
No matter what I do, I can't quote anybody's posts but Sunnstor. WHY?
Also, trying to make a new post WITHOUT QUOTING makes it Sunnstor's quote too.
TEETHING TROUBLES.
@Sunnstor: Sorry about spamming you, but for some reason you've taken over this thread.

I honestly can't remember when I added in DLC dependencies, but I believe it was in v3.
Anything before v3 won't require Hearthfire. It also won't have Dawnguard or Dragonborn content.
Older versions I put HERE.
EDIT: I tell a lie, apparently I added in DLC content in v2. v1c should be fine. That's a ways back, though, it's missing almost every feature and bugfix of the newer versions. It works, but that's all I can say about it.
If you have the CK, I *think* it should be a relatively minor matter to remove hearthfire dependency from the newer one. I think just opening it up and unticking Hearthfire should do it... but you might also need to delete the conversation topics themselves.
EDIT: For some damn reason, it quoted Sunnstor's question instead of WarriorKitten's one. Let me try again.
EDIT: And apparently I can't copy and paste text in new posts, I just get a "saving" message without being able to post it. LET ME TRY ONCE MORE.

Hmm... seems like multi-quoting isn't working right now.
But yeah, like Thermius said, development is on hold, until December at the very earliest. Probably January.
Rewarding your horses isn't in the mod yet... the framework for it is, and depending on what other horse and/or companion mods you use, you might be able to access the appropriate dialogue options if you're lucky, but I haven't added the override for it yet, so it's a safe bet you won't have that option.
In addition to Aroused Creatures, you can try Animal Mansion and Bestial Essence.

For those of us (i.e. maybe just me) that are too damn lazy to expend the massive amount of energy necessary to move our mouse fingers a couple centimeters and click a button, I was wondering if I could be gauche enough to request a little indicator of what category new files belong to? Something like in the attached image perhaps?
p.s. I haven't actually been reading this thread, so I don't know if this has already been asked, but is there a way to insert images directly into the text, instead of just having it attached at the bottom of the post?

Ah. iIRC those are in coco_rwrd_handler under the rwrd_nonvanilla view. There's only one topic, called coco_rwrd_handler_nonvanilla_base, because I like to drive myself absolutely insane with stupid names.
Contrary to most of the rest of it, it's one great big branch with a lot of blocking lines, instead of multiple branches.
Generic racial lines are under the same branch. It's hella dumb, but I thought it was a good idea at the time.

Brainstrom: un-deplete ore via script
in Skyrim Technical Support
Posted
Just to check, have you looked at Slaves of Tamriel?
The ore there (afaik) doesn't actually deplete at all, it's just permanent. Mining I think doesn't actually harvest anything, so the ore never needs to be replenished.
Of course, I'm not certain if that's how it works. It might just be setting the ore amount in each vein to an absurdly high number or something. Or maybe it just hijacks the animation + activator and adds the ore manually rather than using the default mining function in the game. Not sure... but it's worth a look.
