    I've done it. She drinks herself stupid, staggering about and puking like NPCs on the strip. And you REALLY want to take her guns away before giving her all that booze.

    Hetero with bi leanings. Think of it as bi-curious. Perfect in-game vanilla defined example is Cass. She prefers men, but will sleep with a woman if she's drunk and horny enough.

  3. Generally, when sexoutNG releases a beta it's mostly complete and just open to playtesting and trying out new features. And when mods show a sexout req they usually are showing the minimum version required to work, later versions tend to be reverse-compatible with older plugins unless specifically telling otherwise.

  4. @KainsChyle: Yes, I think so. As I understand it the mod conflicts come from the way PickIdle works- all idle animations are in a tree hierarchy, PickIdle starts at the root, then follows branches until it reaches a leaf (end point animation) or dead end. If the sexout branch is blocked by a higher unconditioned branch, it never makes it to those leaves. With PlayIdle you bypass the tree and get straight to a leaf. This probably makes more sense if you look at the idle animation structure in the GECK.

     

     

    If I looked at the GECK Idle animation structure, I'd see alien hieroglyphics and probably believe in unicorns. :P I'll take your word for it and give it a shot.

  5. Does switching to playidle mean conflicts with other animations are avoided? For some reason Weapons Of The New Millenia is causing the "standing inside each other moaning" bug, but I was still a version or two back of the release copy when it happened and I just gave up instead of trying to fix it.

  6. Another workaround if you don't have smallertalk or can't get it to work is to open dialogue with Cass and start the fire dialogue. When she asks if you're sure, say nevermind and when it goes back to the main dialogue tree the new sex options should be available.

  7. Going back to the custom companion support and Hal's formlist, as I understand it you have custom dialogue for every compatible NPC? And I'm guessing you get that dialogue by checking the NPCs ID when you speak to them? You could, theoretically, add a generic dialogue for any ID not recognized that links to Hal's formlist. That way you don't need a custom patch for each NPC, or even at all. Just a dependancy on SCR.

  8. I'm coming in to this a bit late, but what I've read so far has me excited to try it out. This seems perfect for Bruce's Affairs mod, and to a lesser (greater) extent to mods like Willow. Really, with her points system and relationship stages, Willow seems like a micro-version (just one NPC) of your macro concept here. And I for one will gleefully dive head-first into the madness.


     


    Just to clarify, though: the beta still isn't available, what's currently up is the alpha? And will I still need a "just sex" mod, or is there a way to consummate relationships using solely what you have here?

    I don't know if it makes a difference since I'm overwriting every existing file (with a 'Yes to all') when installing these mods, but my FNV folder is a bit of a mess. Lots of leftover files, including those from older versions of all the Sexout mods I use.

    With my current internet plan, testing it out on a freshly redownloaded and vanilla installation of FNV isn't feasible. :(

    Also, side question regarding SexoutNG Bodies 1.0.0. Since the contents are in .bsa files without an .esp/.esm, would they still apply to the game appropriately? I had to manually extract the contents of 'Sexout T6M.bsa' and 'Sexout - Breezes.bsa' for it to work on my end (neither NMM or FOMM extract the .bsa files automatically). Could this be pointing to another issue with my Sexout setup?

     

     

    As to the first issue, something you could try as long as you still have the original downloads of all the mods you're currently using. Delete everything from your Data folder except the vanilla game esm and bsa files. Open Steam, right-click on NV and go to Properties. In the window that opens, go to the "Local Files" tab, then "Verify Integrity of Game Cache..." This is "re-install lite", repairing corrupted files and replacing missing ones. Assuming you haven't borked your entire install, the download should only be equivalent to one of the medium-sized sexout files, maybe Tryout sized. Once it's done you can re-install your mods (this time using FOMM to avoid the remnant files issue).

     

    The sexout bodies bsa doesn't need it's own esp or esm. It's titled the way it is (SexoutNG - Bodies.bsa) so that the SexoutNG.esm can read from it if nothing else is available.

    Not listed in the load order because there's no esp/esm, I'm using Enhanced First-Person Camera, Weapons Animation Replacer, and the patch to get them to work together.

     

    There is no sexout mods listed in my load order because I got frustrated and removed them. I was using the NG beta, SCR Beta and Sexout Sex.

  11. I'm seeing a lot of freaking out about the PC being already married and a parent before the game even starts. We've only seen a few moments of that part of the gameplay, folks. The kid could be adopted. The parents could be "living in sin" as it were, unwed. We don't know anything for certain yet.

  12. I've been seeing this problem reported a lot lately, and have been experiencing it myself. I have yet to find a solution, and with my limited gaming time lately I've just given up on having sexual content in my game rather than fight with troubleshooting.


     


    All of my content is up-to-date bleeding edge as of yesterday.
