    This is the reason why I never install GeForce Experience. Once every 3-6 months I check the nvidia site to see if there are new drivers. If there are I consider updating. And when I update, I first uninstall the current drivers with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller, see CGi's post a few posts up). And of course do a custom install of the new drivers without GeForce Experience. Never had problems since doing this.
