Its not just the moderators that have soured' date=' its almost the entire community there. Its everyday now that I see modders get disrespectful comments on their mods. And its almost always the same comments being spammed over and over "not lore-friendly" "skimpy=unrealistic" "omgitzanime". Fucking annoying. Example:

"Get rid of that stupid X on the dogs face. This is Skyrim not some asspie manga".

The other funny thing' date=' I think it was a prostitution mod for Morrowind that got me interested in the site that now will ban you for uploading naked pictures. Although there are mods with sexual activities. I dunno their rules contradict themselves so much now it's too hard to keep up. I rather just grab what I need then get out of dodge. I use NMM for Skyrim but it screws up Oblivion royally for me. I can't ask for help though.

NMM was more designed for Skyrim anywayz.

When my OBMM was temporarily unusable. (Cant remember why any more) i installed the HGEC body mode. I COULDN'T use it. Anyway back to teh topic. If you can go back page 54, i was planning to ask the same thing to them.

I've been around since Morrowind although at that time I usually played around more on Planet Elder Scrolls to be honest. I'm assuming its the fame and attention that they acquired. Started to feel higher than the ordinary member. They WILL SILENCE anyone who defies them. That includes CONTRADICTING opinions especially AGAINST THEM.

I am just going to say this' date=' the Nexus is why I am jumpy on all forums now and feel I have a ban waiting around the corner constantly. I was almost banned some time ago for not liking a certain mod I had downloaded and tried, offering images as to why I thought it needed work. I was called a 'flaming troll' though I don't understand the term to be honest; someone in the comments section even linked me to some YouTube video I didn't watch. I was harassed for a good two hours from the author and commentators before a mod pulled all of the comments off completely, after I asked them to. I was very surprised I had to ask them to put a stop to the childish behavior. I was even more surprised when I was the one who was slapped on the wrist. I was warned for 'trolling' and agitating or something like that an since then I keep my opinions to myself. I'm not a rude person, I'm never impolite and confrontation results in a physical response that is less then pleasant. There is a fellow I have been talking to on the Nexus site for maybe almost a month now who made a mod I was very interested in. He was mostly interested in a useless popularity contest and I didn't realize it for some time. He got what he wanted but the mod itself is just... awful. It's game breaking awful. Would I ever say anything like this? No way. People will sometimes for no reason it seems; defend something they have nothing to do with that is obviously inferior quality just to defend it it would seem. I'm sorry I'm really going off I don't mean to sound like this it is just very frustrating when you can't talk on a site to the people you want to talk to. It's too scary, literally scared of being yelled at and cussed out again followed by a stern warning. After reading the thread that lemonbalm shared (oh my stars your picture is SO CUUUTE!) I realized how dehumanizing it is to deal with some of those people sometimes. It just reinforces my fear and anxiety of their attitude and I feel for the guy but to walk on your knees begging for forgiveness isn't the way to go.
