<3 all the Facebook conspiracy theories.  You're all discounting the possibility that Facebook is simply trying to extend into future markets to make the company less reliant on ONE social media service when so many are cropping up that are actually able to compete with them?  The rift is a DISPLAY DEVICE.  I have an Acer monitor, doesn't mean I randomly get Acer advertisements on my screen.  The most I see them doing is adding Rift compatibility to some of the newer games that are popping up on there.  Maybe a little app that integrates in that pops up with Facebook alerts that you can probably opt out of.  

Started playing Legend of Grimrock II. So far i'm loving it. Makes me want to go back and try some of those classic RPG's I never played.

 

I also started playing the Mass Effect trilogy for the first time... Is 3 really that bad?

Does "We're taking the hundreds of hours you've put into our games and giving you the finger!" sound that bad?

Soon I will be posting either, Homeworld Remastered, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, or Dead or Alive 5: Last Round :-P
 

 

Politics and religion became banned topics simply because very few intelligent "arguments" ever occurred.  Most of the time those "discussions" devolved into massive rule breaking brawls, which forced moderators to step in and calm things down.  Believe me, all of the moderators here HATE to actually have to use our moderating powers.  We don't have quota's or rewards for the number of warnings handed out each month.  

Frankly, I'd be happy as fuck to never have to warn anyone ever again.

 

Any community that wants to thrive has to have some basic rules and being courteous is one of them. 

What gregathit said.  Really many of us here on this forum really DO NOT WANT religion and politics becoming mainstay in the threads.  This is a gaming/modding site so those kind of topics tend to make people seethe like a pack of rabid shaft badgers.

 

Stick with gaming/modding, keeps the people happy.

What has been pissing me off lately is hypocritical asshole actors "cough" Liam Neeson "cough" who make millions off action movies where they use guns on a regular basis then turn around spouting anti gun comments. If you hate guns so much then stop making your living off them via action movies!!!

Rift owner here - I'm happy to report Skyrim with all the fun fun mods from loverslab works _beautifully_ with the VorpX injector. It's funny - I always expected my main use of the Rift for horror games, and scoffed a bit at the whole "VR Porn" thing... but horror games are frankly too damn intense in the rift, while sexified Skyrim is just SO MUCH FUN.

How's the headset stay-age?  Does it hold up to heavy fapping?
