CMD is the program that pops up when you double click the .bat file. In this case, it's patch_levels.bat. Take a screenshot of that and post it, and it'll let us know if the files are unpacking/repacking correctly.

The instructions seem clear enough...     I suspect that your default CMD path may be interfering with the .bat file from running. That's usually the case with .bat files; the CMD will attempt to run files from the designated default directory, and not the directory that the .bat file is located in.   Perhaps post a screenshot of the CMD that pops up after you run the .bat file?

  Pretty sure it's just renown. Although I got to like 2000 renown in one playthrough and could never recruit some heroes. Might be the other 2 stats which denote your "good/bad" status. I think Honour was the good stat and Notoriety was the bad stat? Can't remember.   I could recruit most of them though.    I managed to find Zhuge Liang's hut and it said it wasn't sure when he'd be back - never did figure out how to get him.

  I've tried maxing out leadership, so that didn't work out either - it might have raised the maximum amount of heroes you could have but at that point in time I was decked out with like 20+ heroes. Couldn't be bothered to test that out. On that note, steamrolling with that number of heroes makes encounters easy enough, except for those missions with hordes of enemies (eg; take out the base).   And yes, if you get pummeled too much within a short period of time you die instantly. It is a good idea to use two handed weapons to take out enemies quicker in that sense. Just use hit and run tactics when you're on foot. Fights are much easier on horseback, though.   One tip is to quick save before participating in tournaments. Take note of which ones you've been in, and if they don't give you a "special gift" (usually a piece of equipment, either weapon or armor), restart and participate in another one. You can find out where tournaments are by talking to arena masters, which should be present in any major city. The stuff you get from tournaments are usually pretty powerful and should take you places. 

It's not difficult to cheat - just get a savegame editor and give yourself some overpowered weapons/armor which are unique. You can find out what items are unique and even edit item stats with a certain program. I can't remember off the top of my head what it's called, but it's out there.   Adding a couple of lines to the .ini file also allows you to edit the amount of experience you get per kill, which can amount to quite a bit.   The only issue I had with SOTT is that with too many hero units you lose gold and morale at certain intervals (along with unit desertion), and i've never understood why. Shame - I really enjoyed this mod because of its uniqueness, probably the mod i've played the most. Also, it's incredibly ram unfriendly because of how much resources it uses up; expect a lot of CTDs.

You'll want to master couch lancing. Get a Heavy or Great lance and on a horse, when you move fast enough you'll start to lower down the lance to be parallel to the ground. If you connect your lance with the opponent at this point you'll "deliver couched lance damage" - probably the easiest way to dish out damage in calvary based tourneys. The longer your lance is, the easier it is to connect, though this pretty much makes your lance useless in close range. You'll only ever want it for mounted combat anyway though, so I guess it's a fair tradeoff.

Another H scene involves you getting a partner. I played a male character so I got a female's disposition high enough. Once it's high enough you can visit her whenever you go to the town she's in. Gift her Velvet and read her appropriate poems to get her disposition high.   After that, there's a mini game of foreplay - followed by one of the 3 regular sex scenes (which you get to choose).

Oh, that's great! I haven't gotten that far... How do you actually gain access to the pink locations? I've been trying all sorts of stuff but I can't figure it out.   Edit: I managed to get one party member with 200 renown, or at least, I think that's the key to doing it... still can't access other pink villages.

    Did this quest today - really easy, just go into the specified village and talk to 3 random female villagers. A command should tell them to "go away where someone wants to meet them".   After which, your quest will label as complete, and you'll have them in your party. In your party, you can talk to them and request a blowjob. You can also request (i'm assuming) sex, but no cutscenes appear for that, and you lose reputation for it. I wouldn't recommend doing it.   Overall, not much adult content for this particular quest chain.
