I am actually quite sick at the moment, so that's a funny coincidence.

Nobody really plays what?  If you mean "nobody installs sexy mods and then plays through at least Main Quest and possibly DG and DB with those sexy mods"... yer exaggerating a little.  I do exactly that.  And deal with the consequences of fighting a dragon over a town while my kitty-follower suddenly slings his bow so a dog can have its way with him.  It changes the game -- sometimes frustrating, sometimes giggle-worthy, but always different.

But as an author, I do have to agree, writing a story of any kind is damned hard, if you want to do it right.  (Why can't my agent get that through her head?)

I also love that dog. How he sits there looking up to you when you tell him to stay at a place, how he sniffs around and searches the surroundings when he walks beside you, the way he pulls down enemies after sinking his teeth in a feral ghoul's arm or a raider leg, the noises he makes. Good boy, reminds me very much of the dog I had (except for the biting into extremities part ^^).

While the guns are really nice and fun I must say that I really don't like the way armors are designed graphically. Nearly all of them except for Power Armor look like shit imo. First thing I need a major mod overhaul for.

The world content density and the variety of places you find is really mindboggling, how the fuck did they manage to make such a huge map. I found about 60 places of interest or so and a lot of minor stuff like creatively designed loot containers (small huts and sometimes just matresses with makeshift roofs, abandoned busses and trucks, boat wreckages, scenes of previous battles with bodies lying around, etc) by now and still didn't explore more than a fourth of the map. I'm seriously overwhelmed, more than even in Skyrim and that was already crammed with content.

Kudos for that, Bethesda, impressive work.

    :)

Other than the graphics, the overall game looks good

Nah. nah, nah, nah, nah. Far Cry was fun. Far Cry 3 was fun. Pity they never made a Far Cry 2, really.

    Agree

But yeah: congrats to CDProjekt for a well earned award. And maybe, just maybe, this will be a wake up call to Bethesda.

    They'll never learn...
