Assuming you are in good mental health, you should be fully aware of the consequences of your actions on yourself, your friends, your social surrounding and your job. Without further exposing your feelings on the situation, asking the community for their opinion seems pointless.

Your behaviour could easily be taken as a cry for help (fear of losing yourself, fear for your security), as well as a demonstration of your emancipation ("women of the world, don't be too shy to live out your desires" e.g.). That said, all what remains for me to say is "if it makes you happy, it can't be that bad".
