Lets' all share thoughts then!
Whatever pple use depends pretty much on their taste.
SetBody mod is the big universalized compendium of body mods
Textures depends more on the race you're using and/or the specific texture replacer you chose, since every body in Setbody uses the same UV map... that means any texture works.
Best clothes also depend on the mod but many things are available for many different body types.
I'd define things in normal flavors and exotic flavors
- IE HGEC from B to E cup for females, are normal flavors. There are tons of clothes and clothing replacers for those
- People often prefer DMRA... reason why, is beyond my comprehension but it features unrealistically massive baloons... still... pple seem to like that shit. (excuse my own personal outburst of "wtf" towards something I consider irrational... but that's only me in a very big world ¬¬)
- ZKEC would be the natural sexy evolution of HGEC, that means it's curvier but also more realistic in some ways. Also count this among normal flavors though it comes with big rack variations too.
- For males it's always been Robert's Male... only difference is in how much muscle you need/want

My brain simply cannot handle trying to script right now
Maybe I can do this:
- Generic Unisex Idle just incase
- Renaming Male/Female idles for each of the vanilla game races
- Optional player only, so that anyone playing custom race can decide
- Naming instructions to make M/F variation for custom races
Scripting... now... on this time of the year, with the amount of stuff to do... with my past traumatic experiences on it, and whole books to read before I can even comprehend what you meant by "ToggleAnimOverride and RefreshAnimData"

Did I succeed? Hopefully...
Fixed some things that were wrong, some animations were cut too early (shit happens) and now they're back to their original length and so on...
Gender based... maybe one day when I stop being so busy with other more pressing matters.
Can't promise anything though.
As long as it looks decent, acceptable and better tan vanilla that's enough for me now.
If ever... I'tlll be a gorilla animation for studs and a pretty girl stance for gals I guess

That universe and that particular game was just one big epic masterpiece...
They could have continued it though or gave a more epic ending
I really expected to see an Antedeluvian inside that chest, then it was just a bomb... not as epic as I expected but still didn't kept me from playing again on different characters.
Most loved clans for me: Tremere, Malkavian and Nosferatu.
Most of the clans I think were made by personaly type analysis I believe.
Loved the magic and occult feeling about seeing the world though the eyes of someone who knows it's mysteries and what lies beyond as a Tremere.
Then Malk's insanity has that taste for also perceiving things normal people don't, and how the world is batshit crazy and they just don't understand it like you do, understanding that madness, makes the world yours.
Finally, Nosferatu have all the epic of being cursed to hide in the shadows always lurking in the dark forsaken from all things living.
I missed the disturbing lack of fireballs, frost spells or lighting when being a mage, but blood magic was awesome, could've been cooler if blood steal was better though... blood boil and blood mass steal ftw
Lots of things could actually be a lot better, like animations, weapons, magic, shooting, etc... But that roleplay... damn...
Also game was sexy as fuck, even with no actual sex in it.
VV is still one of the sexiest characters ever made, I know everybody likes Jeanette, but Therese was cute too if you got on her good side, and then they were "2"
Hell I even liked playing as a female Nosferatu with cleopatra syndrome and attempting VV's good side quest... even got that email about how she loves you and all... With some mods, even that lap dance.
Ahhh good ol' times...
Shame the've never made another game like that... not that I've heard of...
With today's tech... I only dare to dream of such marvel

To be honest, I'm tired... I dont really care for this problem if it's not my fault. Vanilla staff attack animation it's not that horrible either, only problem is it returns to the ground to use it, when the special pack is all about floating.
But again, it's not my fault. I'll mention it to ShadeMe in case there's anybody home and with a bit of luck they can fix it.
This problem is beyond my comprehension or ability to fix.
The animation works and I did my homework.
If it's too bad to have random attack on one animation, one can always rename it and use the pack as a replacer... or put it on a CM or something. I'm not sure but maybe the original SpecialAnims.esp allowed staff specials? After all, it came with that Spellsinger staff mod.

OK. BETA TIEM!
CORE: There is a Core pack with the intended enhanced animations. Also a Specialanims folder with blockheaded variations so you character can look even cooler.
Variations: There's a Variations pack with variations (Duh). It is separated by category of weapon and then subfolders containing individual variations, some have none, others have lots of them.
MAIN is the word i used to refer the ones that already were in the Core pack just in case one needs backup.
Then I used names to call other variations to get an idea what it is you're installing, pics would be better, but that's all there is for now.
All variations material is intended to overrite stuff in Specialanims folder as they're blockheaded.
Some variations may be weird, and intended for special types of weapons we may or may not see very often in Oblivion
On the staff folder, there's a "Stylich" style which are the floating ones.
As mentioned above, the atack one is weird functioning, but that's another modder's fault.
REQUIRED: I shouldn't even mention it but it NEEDS BLOCKHEAD now or the special material wont work unless you rename it and put in on a different folder
BBB: I did a fair amount of boob jumping but nothing exaggerated as I was tired and was just aiming for "normal". Some of it were made by replicating other animations's structures, most of them were attempted by some kind of animating logic.
MANLY APLHA MALE MACHO PEOPLE:
If you play male, this is an important part of the testing as I did NOT made gender based animations
However my last attempt tries to make them any-gender-friendly. "No sissy males, no female gorillas"
OFC... I'm also using my outfit redesign mod which remodels clothing into something decent instead of those wine barrels Bethesda gave us for armor, so males have shape, and this shape and thinner-ness allows some animations which would look sissy, look less sissy, but that's my game and I need to know what happens in other places.
WALKING, DIRECTIONS AND PERSPECTIVE: By popular demand of people using first person view mods -among which I cant count myself too now, thanks to Oblivion reloaded (I didn't even ask for it)- I made walking variations which do not turn your face from the front. "Turn" folder is the old versions in which have your character look at you when going backwars for example. "Dont Turn" actually moves backwards, so you see your char's back instead.

Depending on how many animations and what you are trying to do, I've found loading them into blender and doing the breast bounce manually often produces the best results in the fastest time. Again, depending on how many you have (or need) I'd be happy to take a crack at animating the breasts for you. I'd either need the kf file or the blend file. Up to you.
Breasts are easy compared to doing the rest of the animation.

Thanks Greg! that's a great offer... I was doing that exact same thing for the few animations i thought actually needed boob jumps, but I took the "original" breast moving cycle mimicking other animations I found out there, figured the walking and running was fine so I just kept using those as templates. Same for turning anims, except those ones dont mimic anything other than my own making.
But maybe it's not always natural... Tell you what, I'll launch a beta test here, see how the thing goes and if it's not enough, I could use the help on finishing touches... just to spare me the time, and dedicate to other projects since this is such a nice offer

Probably not much to animate though... just need to check on the "natural" looks of it

That's very enlightening knowledge and easily explained
I have this pshychological thorn bugging me about mods with scrips and complex command and name using... like when somebody tells you they hate math no matter how much you tell them you love them. That's me and scripting.
But this is something I can understand. Still million years away to fully understanding the extents of Blockhead but it is something.
Long story short, it worked BUT...
For the floating staff animation pack, I made the largest number of alternate animations, because I had to include equip/unequip, attack, jumping etc...
I met a problem on the attack animation.
Sometimes it plays, sometimes it doesnt ant it reverses to the normal attack anim instead of the blockheaded one. This happens especially when attacking from an idle stance, I'll let people see it on the beta.
A friend suggested we tell ShadeMe about it and see if it's a Blockhead thing, but I'll run the beta first
Back soon, with a 3.0 beta... now off to sleep

I can. Take a look at this:
...\Data\Meshes\Characters\_Male\specialanims\blockattack_BLKD_PERNPC_Oblivion.esm_00000007.kf
Explanation:
- use the "specialanims" folder to take advantage of this particular Blockhead feature;
- "The first part of the filename must follow the same naming convention as the vanilla game"
- The _BLKD part is necessary to mark this animation as "Blockhead controlled"
- The _PERNPC part specifies that the animation is intended for a specific Actor
- The _Oblivion.esm part specifies the master or plugin that contains the Actor
- The final _00000007 is the BaseID of the Actor (for the player character the BaseID is 00000007, while the RefID is 00000014)

Easier way is to use gerra6 pose converter:

more difficult way is the i been doing it is to use blender own physics.
The way was to duplicate the upper body part of the female body mesh. delete all other part of the mesh you do not need then build an ik for the breast and on the duplicated mesh you can then set it up with the option:
object mode physics button turn the mesh into softbody and then use the settings to tweak blender physics and the use the bake option and it should create fluent breast motion, keep in mind this part is not for the faint of heart and will zap allot of time to complete the bigger the animation is.
Hm... noted... But it... confuses me now... I'll focuse on getting the thing working and then we'll se about breas motion... just for lulz. Not thah there's any special actually needed here. That's more for sex mods I'd say right?
does anyone know how well this goes with the first person camera body obse plugin?
i once installed some animation mod and the usual first person animations used for arms would interfere with the ones from the animations and i could sometimes see my own neck.

But OR changed my camera to 3rd person animations on 1st person view... everything is fine so far, except for the hand to hand blocking animation which covers your face and maybe running animations because of directions, nothing serious though.
Besides I'm making alternate running anims to do this thing in original directions

Another version coming soon, made a few tweaks here and there... attempt to make them more unisex with fair balance between looking stylish, but also suitable for both genders without having males looking sissy or females looking like gorillas
Oblivion uses the same skeleton for both genders so It's hard to achieve this at 100%
Added more variations (Lots of them)
Build an entire floating staff pack of animations... siilar to lich style but a bit more natural... and it's not ported from a creature so...

Any chance anybody knows how to use this for player only animations?
Currently I was using an old Specialanims.esp file which did exactly this, but it was limited to idles and a few attack animations, the rest were still taken from the normal common animation folder
Heard with blockhead it's possible to make anything player-only
Also heard it was a matter of renaming folders and placing stuff inside
Can anybody help?

First, I'm also sick of people believing humanity is "the shit". Whether you're a religious zealot or an atheist one, this zealotry has one thing in common. The belief we as humanity "know everything there is to know" and have "achieved the pinnacle of evolution" Fuck dogma, and guess what, true science is devoted to investigating and discovering what we yet dont know
First scenario I called planet exhaustion. My point being, regardless of who started it (screw politics), (and I'm also not so sure about true climate change being caused by humans), the system is falling out of balance. Under some conceptions of pseudo-philosophical biology, the planet itself is a living organism, and climate change could be a way of fighting a disease just like fever.
Besides that, the greatest coming threat on this point is like I said, starvation. Increasing population is just not sustainable anymore. From this point, things could also course like Kendo said, war for resources.
If that doesnt happen, idiocracy has still it's chance. Selfies everywhere. I think true "zombie apocalypse" started and humans lost. Just look at all those brainless teens out there.

I'm on the mood for a bit of pseudo-philosophical sharing so...
I got thinking about the evolution of our society and where we are going
I'm an avid comsumer of fantasy and fiction, I love movies and reading, serves to say my mind has been programmed to "anticipate" development of events thanks to those habits. (Yeah, it works in real life too with everyday situations)
But what I've been seeing so far on one side confuses me and on the other worries the hell outta me.
Let's start with apocalyptic futures. Apocalypse has been called countless times already. Whether it's a meteor, a black hole, the exploding sun, world war III, a plague, rising of the machines or the zombie apocalypse...
By the way I guess you guys know all of them are almost entirely possible given what we know now, but odds according to scientists are favoring "Fallout", a plague or "Terminator" (Yeah there's a whole movement of them, led by Stephen Hawking himself trying to stop AI development)
I forgot to mention aliens, but my personal belief leds me to think aliens have been here for millenia, if they wanted a war humanity would've lost it already.
But the thing that's really happening contrary to popular belief... nothing. Nothing at all
I dont know what sorcery is still keeping society in one piece, but somewow.... it endures.
Which brings me to the next setting of things, which are either slow apocalypses ot dystopian futures. Sadly the two which seem to be gaining strength are:
- Planet exhaustion: in this scenario, we're running out of resources, oil eventually runs out causing the first problems of our oil-based society, economic collapse follows. Pollution levels are extinguishing all kinds of life form slowly, food becomes scarce, air becomes bad, water becomes poisoned, the process already started and climate changes causing disaster level events worldwide, a sandstorm in a snowy country is not so rare anymore, human population just keeps growing, economy is not enough to sustain this many, above all the greatest symptom is starvation.
- Govenrment Domination: from the looks of it, it also already started. This could be a topic on it's own as it begins with the increasingly diminishing boundaries of people's freedoms. Internet is not a free place anymore. Forget about free stuff. Paid mods? that was just a glimpse. Government institutions know everthing you are just by looking at your internet history. Everything you are, credit cards, numbers, that's what you become. On the bright side, education/sumbliminal indoctrination programs have already taught you to be a sumbissive sheep, slave to consumerism, always waiting for the next iphone, taking selfies and convincing yourself you are free. Real social interaction becomes obsolete as people dont talk to each other anymore even in the same room because everything is done via cellphones and social media. Life is no longer about being happy, it's about how many likes can you get. Piracy, illegal AND borderline porn and political speech is forbidden, even on the darkest internet corners. Speak wrong and you get dissapeared. I'm not only talking about "major crimes" here, I'm also talking about the average folk who happened to download an "illegal" program, they dissapear too. Individuals who dont fit the agenda are eliminated with extreme efficiency and some are made a public example for more programming and more hate to unite sheep under one banner.

When did it started to happen? or, did it happen after after installing any particular mod?
Is it exclusive to your character or other races have it too?
How about NPCs, do they look sideways?
What happens if you start a new game on same race and on different one?
First suspects could be:
-Wrong animations (Something on _male forder or around the head meshes folder, maybe a .tri file)
-Wrong eyes (on the race's eyes folder)
If it's a mesh or an animation it' should be easy to solve by replacing with functional ones
Other reasons escape my personal comprehension, but we probably need more info and someone will surely be able to help

Hehe.. Sounds like my idea of modding
Eons ago, when I started designing my main char, I tried a lot of things. In the end I ended up with a bunch of elvish races, which in time led to the possibility of more characters and a strange "ability" of my main to change aspects at will so to speak.

I was making a racial enhancement mod with Junkacc's egts and head06 also with his stuff. He tried to make neck neams go away and so far I think it's the closest anyone ever got.
However, I'm sorry It's taken forever... also It's no OCO, no extra male/female races, no freckles, factions are less harsh and still no individually edited NPCs though it's not discarded
On the other side, I have enhanced argonians and prettier faces for almost everyone, even orcs who are now darker green, wear "smoky eyes" eyeshadow to give a darker savage look and use head06 so they're humanized. Should be out along the next few months...
But enough shameless self-promotion.

I'm uncertain of Junkacc's seamless project's continuity. But you can find some of his files at Nexus
BTW, the main difference between Head06 and the rest is the UV layout. OCO heads use Vanilla UV, if you were using Vanilla, you shouldn't have any game-breaking character changes.
And you can always duplicate you char's race into a custom one that remains using your old race's assets

Updated animation tutorial, just letting you guys know, I'll write the part about Inverse Kinematics later, I'm sleepy now.
Not sure if I got it right, this was a bit messier to explain... It's not exactly a step by step animation tutorial but more like a guideline to knowing how to make animations and where are the buttons and options people need to know about.
Hopefully somebody else can understand it and use it for new mods.
I apologize if it doesn't cover everything but I tried to make it so I would dump all my limited (but trickily useful) animation knowledge
I bet some of the guys here know a lot more about it than me... but I promised a tutorial and I'm delivering

What we should do is have a tutorial on converting Skyrim to Oblivion... because "nobody" makes glothing for Oblivion anymore, we might as wells steal theirs (evil laughter)
That way conversions would be more abundant, though, due to all the constroversy and eagerness to get rustled jimmies, it would have to remain an obscure enterprise.
This tutorial teaches how to import Skyrim nifs to Blender
Then In blender, one has to:
- T position A posed Skyrim models, this may be done by a number of ways which include
- Using an Oblivion Skeleton to A position an Oblivion body, re-rig Skyrim meshes to Oblivion body, then use an Oblivion Skeleton to T position the newly rigged Skyrim meshes
- Importing a Skyrim Skeleton and use it to T position Skyrim meshes (But that requires prior Skyrim Skeleton import settings... I made that but it's a bit trickier than normal nifs)
- Using an Oblivion Skeleton to A position an Oblivion body, re-rig Skyrim meshes to Oblivion body, then use an Oblivion Skeleton to T position the newly rigged Skyrim meshes
- Model and remodel Skyrim meshes to fit Oblivion's geometry
- Add a texturing property (Also requires setting proper Oblivion working textures, meaning at least "texture.dds" and texture_n.dds" in your Data folder. Skyrim diffuses do not always have the same name as normals like they did in Oblivion)
- Remove all Skyrim rigging (delete bone/vertex groups) and do a proper Oblivion rigging to an Oblivion skeleton using a body mesh. If it has already been done, repeat. The modeling process changes everything so it's mandatory to do this again
- Export
- Enjoy

In "real" world it would be impossible first because duh! we dont have beast races in the real world and second, embryos of different genetic heritage are inviable, splicing only exists in laboratories.
Now in this fantasy world, lore makers have a major mess in their hands... I also once read that the Tsaeci race from Akavir wasnt clear if they were snake-people actually or just humans who were referred to as snakes. I also remember reading that the Tsaesci mixed with imperial blood among the aristocracy or something.
Mother's race could get them out of that mess I guess... Still find weird that a male argonian can make a hman female have a human child, somehow, a male human making female argie lay eggs sounds more plausible
And about boobs
There are precedents on the real world on mammals reproducing by eggs, so inter-species features is not too far fetched

I love non-lore friendly stuff too, I'm a sucker for sci fi shots, laser guns and stuff...
I just dont think it's funny
Kinda like art... centuries ago, art was supposed to be about beauty and what would be in modern terms "awesomeness"
Then, it evolved, and art became about expression and impression and that's when shit hit the fan.
Sure there are still pple that can achieve the effect of expressing something, causing an impression on the viewer and doing so with some sense of aesthetic awesomeness
But nowadays anyone can take a picture of a homeless bum taking a crap in a public space and we call that art... anyone can be an artist
maybe my thinking is ancient but I think it's shit no matter how you put it. This coming from someone from a family of artists.
Given the tone of the majority of mods in this site I thought it to be something sexual. I dunno maybe I just dont have a fantasy that "should be common to all men" and therefore I'll never understand it. It just fails to cause any kind of turn on in my case. Dont get me wrong, I love boobs. But those things are not boobs, they're crimes against nature.
This shit stopped being funny for me aeons ago.
