Nice screens, any change for the first outfit to find it's way on my HDD?

Sure

I'm rebuilding my site and I'll upload new mods... Also there's a new DeviantArt site under construction...
When everything is ready I'll drop them.
BTW 1st outfit is using parts from your mod too XD

A lot of interesting points to this. I'll add to the request for animations too.
Some things one could take for granted but surely they could do a much better work... leaving us to correct their crappy jobs.
Shame (Ding!)
Shame! (Ding!)
Shame...
Also. found something to better explain what I said before about gore and kills.
Killing in games is supposed to be cathartic. It's supposed to make you feel reliefed from the stress of daily real life
To the date I've found nothing more satisfactory in terms of killing than this:

Anything else, anyone?
Is there a next update coming?
Could you include my tweaks from this thing?
Lower bodies are basically the same except for the tweak.
But the one that I'm really interested is the ZKEC D Cup...
I have this strange idea if it's included and "sanitized" in SetBody, Gerra's conversion tool's gonna work
And I've deen doing all conversions for my char manually so far

Either I'm bored, or doing my favorite sport: Procrastinating
Meanwhile, I propose this: we say things we like in games and things we'd like to see in future releases.
For example:
Combat/Kills
- Gore. I like it when you can chop off someone's head or cut their arms off, but keep the blood splash and maiming realistic. I hate when you swing your blade once and suddendly its a blood bath, but I also hate when you bust your arse off trying to hit your enemy and in the end all they do is fall down with a few bruisers. It's so cathartic when game devs get the gore right. example (Old and dark game incoming) Severance Blade of Darkness.
- Smart combat. I'm SO SICK of that turn crap. Make it intelligent. Blocking, dodging, counter attacking, timing and smart striking should be the rule. Some kind of hybrid between Assassins Creed 2, Prince of Persia II and Skyrim maybe...
- Intelligent stealth. I love a good stealth system, when you can sneak up everyone's back, kill them silently and they'll never know you were there, but mess it up and it can get annoying as fucking hell. That's why I almost never take my chances on stealth chars.
- Headshots. I just love them. dont you? Examples: Resident Evil and Tomb Raider
- Fireballs. Because muh fireballs. I just cant feel right playing a mage who's not shooting fireballs.
- Telekinesis. Because it's the most awesome power a mage can possibly have and we have it narrowed down to to moving dishes, lettuces and stealing crap. Embarrasing. Done right: PsyOps - The Mindgate Conspiracy
Character Development:
- I always love a good RPG where you can create your own char and make them as awesome or pretty as you want.. so dont ever dump that.
- Unlock weapon specialties. Why the hell are you always confined to use one type of weapon depending on your class? What happens if let's say, like me, you wanna try something new. My favorite combination is a dual sword wielding combat mage. AKA Spellsword/Bladedancer. Somehow a lot of games force you to choose "If you wanna mage, you can't sword or heavy armor, you have to staff" Fuck that shit. I wanna choose my own destiny, not let the class choose it by me.
- Spells and Skills. Now this is more of a personal one, but I like it better when you don't have to pick you skills or spells from a long display list. It's better when you have to use a certain ability in a smart way. For example lets say you want magic, you developed pyromancer skills. Same ability which could be "flames" could be thrown far a way as a fireball. maybe the longer you cast the button the more destructive it gets, but fast shooting has it's perks too. Cast on yourself and you burst a ring of fire knocking your surrounding foes, cast on you weapon and now it's a flaming sword, or even create a weapon with the same skill, like a whiplash or something. But not those long everlasting lists...
Equipment:
- A game where you could have all types of modern and ancient weapons would be perhaps too much but being able to choose between a magic bow and a silented machinegun with a lasersight would be awesome. Specially in a retro-futuristic setting
- Armor: Every straight male loves a slutty armor, but why deprive the world of covered armor too? Why do games today are always black or white, covered, or completely slutty? Why can't we have both? Regardless of quality, you should be able to choose a heavy armor that covers everything or a heavy armor which is only heavy because magic (duh) and covers nothing. Just like in real life people choose whether to dress up covered or in slutty fashion. Slutty armor could have a bonus to... persuation checks or something...
- Alternative combat styles. Most styles are: sword and shield, bow, dagger, staff and that's about it. What if I want to combine things and look awesome... lets say dual blades or a blade and a handgun, or a magic book that enhances your spells. A whiplash to create mayhem all around you or the mentioned book and a sword
- Quick weapon switch system. Keep it simple. Ranged/Melee. I love it when a game has that.
Story/Gameplay
- Forget that MMO crap companies are evolving towards these days. I don't want a large online world where nothing happens except lots of useless lore reading and community events. I want an amazing story. That's the only reason why I keep playing those Assassin's Creeds. If it weren't for the story I'd have dumped the franchise long ago... yes its an entertaing gameplay, but in the end it's more of the same gameplay on a different setting. Also same happens for Starcraft. Couldn't care less about online play. Online play is nice, but it should be a complement. Done right: Assassins Creed, Starcraft and Warcraft (at least the first parts of it) Done wrong: Aliens Colonial marines - Pure online play, crappy story. Crappy enough to make the whole game suck.
- Stealth. AGAIN. If you wanna stealth play, make a smart stealth play. The most satisfactory stealth play I ever get is when you infiltrate a certain place, and you're a complete ghost. You go there, you infiltrate, you reach your target, do your thing, and nobody ever knew you were there. Killing is easy in games. Not doing so, that's the real challenge. And dont forget alternative ways to complete missions when playing non-stealth characters... gosh that really pisses me off.
Fantasy Worlds
Depending on the setting, there could be combinations of these or only a few to keep it reasonable.
- Dragons. Yeap. I'm a nerd. I like dragons in fantasy worlds. Just leave me be. Only dont forget to make more of those who are also friendly. I totally hate killing all of them.
- Giant Trees. Because we have not enough games with giant trees. Why not when they're so fucking pretty? Example: Kashyyk fictional world (Star Wars homeworld of them Wookies)
- Steampunk. Yeap I like retro-futurisic victorian age steam machines and gears too. They look awesome.
- Cyberpunk. If you want a futuristic setting, this is the rule. Go watch Blade Runner or something before attempting a futuristic game
- Dwarven cities. In most lore types these are awesome underground mazes, so, make more of those. Kudos for Skyrim and Dragon Age Origins.
- Floating cities, islands and things. Because we definitely don't have enough of those.
- Lots or art styles. A game is more visually aesthetic when it has more than one artistic style in their content. Lets say for example, elven, dwarven, human, oriental and arabic. But why stop there? there are plenty of other art styles to dig in depending on the setting. Take demonic or alien like H.R.Giger's artworks. maybe robotic or enochian. Even lovecraftian... pick your poison.
Romance
- This area is very underdeveloped lately. Take Skyrim and it's marriage system: "Oh look and amulet of Mara. Wanna marry?. Sure, why not. Now go make me a sammich" No sir. Romance is comlpicated. It doesnt have to be like that in games, but al teast save some difficulty to keep the thrill. Characters some times meet each other. Some times they start as sworn enemies or dont get along too well. Then they start meeting each other. Some times, its the fact that there's this great obstacle bewteen them. Some times, it's the experiences they share, the counting on the other to have you back while you have theirs which sets the romance mood. That feeling when you wanna be there, and protect another, when you know you can count on them and that they can count on you. The sense of plenitude when you finally got to kiss the one you love for the first time. That's romantic. Not that sammich crap
- Leave room for choices. Because romancing only one character gets boring in games.
- Sex is not the ultimate goal
- But it helps. So if it's meant to happen, let it happen.
And that's it... another bored thread. Hope I'm not the only one who likes these things and hope to see what other people may like too,
At least I'm not bored anymore...
I do hope a game dev one day sees this and remembers these suggestions...
0 - Gore.

Oh I know this one!
I tried
No you can't be more than 1 thing at a time
My necromancer char started as a vampire, after the first Lich transformation, vampire juice was poof! Gone
You can ask Serana to turn you again, and you'll retain Lich transformation, but once you use it, vampirism will be gone every time.
EDIT: In any case... Vampirism on my end is only awesome because of Better Vampires... who needs crappy sun damage and fire weakness when you can command the endless hordes of undead minions Mass Reanimation spell gives you muahahaha!!
Seriously... I've seen entire cities wiped out with that spell...

It's an error message programed by the install script. It stops
I tried to remove those lines from the install script, but I failed miserably as it gave more errors and installation failed completely. (TESMM has stopped working window)
Thankfully the package was simple so a manual install got me through... that one and also Dynamic Map which also failed because of the install script
In sum, some scripts work, some others dont. I think it has trouble either recognizing the OBSE version or the script use feature is limited
Or maybe I screwed up somewhere along the way and some god forsaken file got corrupt or missing so things are not working like they should
But I'm just so tired
C'me on me!
It's only a few more mods now and I think the omod packs are finished
Only a few more...

OBMM is lost.
I actually had a full reinstall of the whole system. The entire operative system got completely wiped out.
There are no traces of any previous OBMM installs and as far as I know it only stores things on it's installation folder anyways.
Tried TESMM
So far everything was running fine until I hit another brick wall
Attempting to install See You Sleep DLL gives me error.
I'm gonna let this pic show the stupidity of the situation

I have a partition system, everything goes installed in alternate hard drives. C is intact and clean as a baby
I think I'm gonna give up on this one...
I don't see how I got a snowball's chance in hell to figure out what's wrong with this one. Specially if it's not even an error message.
I wanna scream, kick and break stuff in rage and frustration but that wont fix the problem either
I'll just have to suck on to my frustration and try to find alternate means of making the mods work

Ok it's weird but its likw my Win install has a mind of its own.
Some things some times work, some times they dont
I had the same Win install before and other things didnt work and now they do
Instead I run into this problem
Regarding this script issue, I know they are only used during install and I know omods are unpacked to data folder
Still those install scripts are needed as certain mods are very complicated to install, requiring several different choices and changes to ini files only those scripts know.
In other words, stuff I dont know how to install manually
I'll check the Nexus for Bash versions of them, but I'm not sure I'll find them all.
Some of them:
-DarkUI'd DarN
-Dynamic Map
-Enhanced Hotkeys
-Hud Status Bars
-Some Loading Screens for DarkUI
Mostly interface affecting mods anyways but I still need them

Just tought to leave this by in case anyone knows something
Recently reinstalled my PC, Windows included.
Have Windows 7 cuz I dont like ugly Windows 8. 64 bit version.
Oblivion Mod Manager used to work. But now it doesnt.
No idea why. Just click the executable and not a damn thing happens.
Not even an error message
Tried reinstalling Oblivion, tried a lot of things Oblivion related. None of them worked
Tried reinstalling OBMM, tried alternate manual installations
Tried running it as an administrator
Nada
Problem Is I still got mods that run on OBMM install scripts
I dont think Wrye Bash can read those right?
Even if it does, still need to unpack them from omod format
Any suggestions?
Thanks

I am about to start packing my long delayed race mod
Argonian textures are finished for Males and Females, everyone uses Head06, even orcs now.
Better textures for everyone too.
Brief example of how orcs and imperials are currently looking:

But... I need to "fix" orc hairs.
They were made for that ugly deformed pancake vanilla head while I want them for a very human head06
So I went to Blender, played a bit, exported, but then I found out some meshes were fucked up beyond reason.
No, it's not the egm file, Conformulator never fucks those up
No they are not "broken" in the most strict sense of the word.
They do work... if the tri file is not being used, I tested them.
And no, Conformulator needs tons of complicated shit it seems before attempting to create functional tri files so that didn't work either.
I think it happened when I was fixing alpha layers from the disaster Blender makes of them when importing.
Could try to adapt them again with no alpha fix, in hope this time tri files work, but that would also look ugly (fucked up transparency) and I'm lazy so I don't wanna do it again, specially if success is not certain but a mere hope
Now tri files... I never messed with those. I think they're supposed to work to make different hair lengths right?
I could... use the CS to change the path and rename the new adapted hairs so the tri file doesn't get used but lengths would be lost and I prefer the idea of this thing being a replacer of resources more than a plugin
I know vanilla hairs are ugly, but the whole point of this mod is making vanilla things awesome. NPCs are still gonna be using those vanilla hairs anyways.
SO...
Can I?...
- Do something so those tri files work with these new hairs?
Or do I?
- Have to consider options such as:
- Sacrificing hair morphs
- Sacrificing correct transparency
- Throw myself into the abyss of uncertainty that is attempting to create new tri files by myself
- Sacrificing hair morphs
EDIT:
Forgot to add the hairs in questeion - Here:
0 - Do something so those tri files work with these new hairs?
-
1.- Choose your trade
2.- Gather your tools
3.- Learn your tools
4.- Mod
Depends on what's gonna be your specialty.
On a large scale there are 3 major classes:
- Costume/Weapon designers
- Animators
- Scripters/Quest Makers
Though you can know a bit of everything, requirements can vary a lot.
Being a designer requires only basic knowledge of the CS to create items and make them work in game
But it requires a lot of Blender (Modeling) and also Photoshop or Gimp usage (Texturing). Also Nifskope to treat game models after Blender exports
There's no easy way to learn all this stuff in 1 day
Animators require to know also about Blender and Nifskope, but they mod on the animation sphere of Blender and they require more knowledge about Scripts and the CS
Finally, scripters/quest makers are the ones who know coding to work with scripts in the CS and have discovered all the secrets of how the CS works
Scripting and Quests are a mystery to me, I'm a designer of stuff.
"Hello, I wanna be a modder" sounds complicated. (unless you actually know modeling and texturing from before). The world ahead of you is so vast and complicated as the real world

But as others, myself included have done before... baby steps.
Best approach is to take a simple project, the easiest one you can think of and start working from there.
First modding work I ever made was manually converting outfits for different body types... now we have Gerra6's conversion tool. But is as good a place to start as any.

Here's to his life and afterlife!
Cheers!
May he continue to live in a legacy of awesomeness for eternity

Aye, vertex color was the solution it seems
I went to a "Texture Face" Layer from the bottom menu, Pressed a "Copy Color" button and problem gone.

Much appreciated
About the mysterious situation...
It's Ok we dont understand other languages, but first rule if you adress someone on a foreign forum, you try to communicate in a way they can understand. I use google translate when I'm left with no other choice, and it usually works very well when describing someone's intentions. Even in stranger languages such as Chinese or Korean. But when the translations clearly sound like an angry demand, the unusual behavior persists through time and the messages dissapear mysteriously minutes after, my instinct starts telling me something's wrong and I'd rather stay away from such things.
From my side, he's now on the silent list, so I consider this matter finished and I'm turning the page to better things.

Thought It was over and problem was gone but I still had 2 more meshes with the problem that required the treatment, I'm taking the opportunity to send them.
On non textured modes nothing seems wrong, but when placing a texture one can notice the black corners in faces. Any texture will do, even an entirely white one.

@DarkSear
WTF is this russian talk. I dont understand Russian, though I like Russian culture and Russians are mostly creative folk, I get the feeling you're a troll
Previous messages demanding I do certain things, always accompanied with angry faces, written in Russian, knowing I dont understand it. Seems rude m8
1.- I'm nobody's maid
2.- I do stuff when I want, how I want, If I ever damn well please.
3.- I've aquired "Kingdoms of Amalur" and I intend to play it and probably port some stuff from it, but thanks to your rudeness, I will not publish the files publicly once they're done. Congratulations. Being an asshole finally paid off.
4.-Moved to ignore list. Goodbye!
@Happysparkles
Thank you very much, but I already tried that. Recalculate normals, inside and outside
Found another solution, deleted all faces only and created them back from the edge armature.
But I had to remake the UV map
It's a way to fix it. But It's not the solution, as its more like a remake than a fix.

I was making something in Blender. Still am
I was making the boots. But something went wrong and I have no freaking idea what it is
I could make the boot's feet again..
But that would take more time, more effort and I don't wanna go through that again
It's not the first time it happens when making a new model
Does anybody know what the fuck happened, how to prevent it and more important, how to fix it?
PS: It's not rotated UV faces in UV map. Faces just popped up those black corners in every single face of that model
0 -
I mod Oblivion but process seems wrong from this side.
I dont know other complications like dismembering and stuff but:
6-Import a Fallout skeleton
7-Remove old Bone Weights from new models. There's a "delete" button under "vertex groups" for a determined model. Vertex groups tells you if a model is rigged or not and to what bones it is.
8-Copy Bone Weights from Fallout body to new models (There's a script for it). This is important because with no bone weights AKA "RIGGING" model will have no animations and will give error messages on exporting.
8-Link, AKA "parent" new models to Fallout skeleton AKA "armature"
9-Once you're absolutely sure models are properly rigged and parented to the skeleton, you can export.
0 -
Parenting is previous to exporting.
Once you have the skeleton in Blender, you want to select all meshes on Edit Mode, then the skeleton and press Ctrl+P
Pop up window asks if you want to "parent things to" and you must select "armature"
That way meshes get "linked" to a skeleton

i did a mesh that is a almost copy of the female droid ( zkec model ) and i am fighting with textures ( i start to have an idee of how to make them and how to make it work in oblivion ) if you are always interrested in this unfinished model i can upload or pm the files ! .
Well, A few weeks ago I ported Fallout's meshes from it, so they work in Oblivion.
I haven't had the time to make glow maps on them work yet. And the head is trouble since I don't know a way to make it work with Oblivion's animations; it would have to be like creating an entirely new head and so far, I've only been successful at modifying an existing head, otherwise, the whole model breaks in game and it just doesn't work... different normals and vertex index and stuff I don't understand anything about.
It was suggested that I just used an Oblivion head and convert the textures instead
For the body, I guess we can all get to the understanding that using the same body as humanoid races would just not work. Creating a "droid texture" like most custom races is out of the picture. No, we need a new body model. But how to make it work?
I believe Blockhead has the capacity for body swap functions am I right?
I don't know if it works with glow map textures too though
Anyway, I digress. Yes I ported Daughters of Ares suit, but attempting this for release would require permissions. Other options are always welcome and it would be native to Oblivion. Besides curiosity is getting the best of me. Maybe your attempt could be even better after finished.
So yes, I'm interested
Only one thing though. This project needs Blockhead and I don't know how to use it.
Besides, body suit is only the beginning, we'd need a body swap too for clothing and armor. I'd be willing to make models for it, provided body swap is working.
But I'd need help. With said help I'm in for modeling, texturing and whatever else I can do to help

After a more thorough search, I came back to Junkacc's files, they're the best for fixing neckseams.
Ideal egt files would be somewhere between those ones and FF head, no neckseams, no weird skin tones.
Dunno if that's possible.
I could try to build the "perfect egt" but I haven't actually messed with egts myself before
I would need that egt unpacker and then it's a mater of making another with the right textures?
Perhaps one could see what's the common feature that makes FF head skin tone friendly and apply it to Junkacc's textures?
0 -
Update:
I've used a number of different files now.
Tested textures in entirely custom races, even used different heads. This time I used a human head (06) to test the color change and it produces the same results.
Tried the egt approach and made new discoveries.
- Seems most egts continued the vanilla tradition on pale females as they all look blue on dark elf textures
- All but those which don't. FF egt was giving very promising results. But the new problem, is that the tone is not just the head tone, but the body tone as well. I got decent tone head, pale body.
- And also, using FF head egts on head 06 may produce unpredictable messes. And though it looked good on every other human race, when using dark elf textures it showed a weird chess pattern shading
- Then a blank egt was attempted, and all problems seemed to go away (used the same blank for body and head). Even got better neckseams. Unfortunately, ability to choose skin tones as variations within members of a same race, went away too.
Session conclussions:
-Egts are actually the ones to blame
-Crappy egts everywhere
0 - Seems most egts continued the vanilla tradition on pale females as they all look blue on dark elf textures

Hello again
Do u guys know any...?
- Poses mods with fireballs and/or magic simbols/particle effects etc? Something that looks mage-ish. Specially fireballs in people's hands. I know NaRae Pose has 2 of those. but I need more. If possible, in more colors. (NaRae's are only blue)
- Nice flaming swords mods? Also if possible, in more colors like green chaotic flames etc...
Or... If anybody knows how to create the above mentioned...
