  1. Attn! Watercooling Veterans ! Need A little Help!

What is the Fin per inch valuexon that radiator and how thick is it?    If you have a low fin per inch rad and cool an entire system of a 240 you wont get that great cooling (still better then air). Try putting in another 240 and make a new loop for the GPU if the temps are unacceptable.   Oh and as for the 980. Is it refrence or a MSI, Gigabyte, EVGA,etc? if you are doing mild overcloking you usually dont need a watercooling loop with these higher end cards that come with great coolers (MSI twin Frozier, Gigabyte Windforce, Etc). Might save you some money by putting money into better chassi cooling over a watercooling loop for mild overclocking.    Or... You can just put better fans on the 240 and get a push, pull config for it. Then adding a GPU to the loop should not be any issues temp wise.
  2. Start up Crashing

Guys why complicate this soo much? MO cannot corrupt any base files as it is not installing anything to the Skyrim main directory... That said. Juat uninstall every mod then reinstall one mod a a time and launch skyrim after every installl... When the game wont launch anymore you have id'd the bad guy...
  3. sex with animals

Well that was informative... Derp... Dude we cannot magically find out why something you installed does not work. You need to give more info. For one how you installed the mod. We need a load order aswell. And what have you already tried to do to make it work.   Seriously its starting to fell like ppl think this community can read minds... For f sake ppl use your own brains
  4. AMD Processors ...

Sorry im a little late to the party   For motherboards... you should not give a fuck who made the damn thing... you look at features you want/need. usualy you need one PCI Express 16x (3.0/2.0 doesnt matter) for the GPU, at least 3 Sata 6 Gbit Connectors and at least 4 RAM slots. the rest is just cool functions that entusiasts use... like Overclocking support (Z97 Chipsets / 990FXA) Extra PCI sloots for M.2 Drives, Extra GPU:s, Fan controllers, Extra Ethernet plugs, USB 3.0, Etc. Ect. Go with the better Motherboard... you dont wanna buy the lower end one then regret it once those extra functions start to look real good.    For Gaming i dare say an I5 or equal AMD CPU + 8 GB DDR3 is minimum as of today. You go for an I7 you get the extra Virtual cores plus DDR4 Support. (you probably dont need the virtual cores but multi tasking while gaming on a I5 will not be a nice experience.) 8 GB is minimum for gaming... it is not ideal amount but it defenetley gets you by. id say buy 8 GB then Add 8GB more later. Oh and Get an SSD. it makes your life that much simpler xD.
  5. Need help with ENB stuff, please?

Just a Warning my friend... Installing ENB uses alot of GPU power... your GPU is pretty damn weak for such a task... and also given skyrims RAM issues ENB has a mod that redirects RAM usage to the VRAM... 1 GB will not get you very far. especially while using an ENB. Just try to not put too much load becouse then those purple textures will be becouse of VRAM shortage. and you will see stabillity issues when the GPU cant take anymore. happy modding xD
  6. AMD Processors ...

In my opinion. this is a matter of taste. as for gaming i have heard that intel  CPU:s are superior. wich they are. but given the ones you posted. you are not looking at a high end rig. id go with FX 8300 or maybe I5 4460. as for overclocking. the FX 8300 can go up to 5,1 GHz if water cooled, 4,9 if air cooled. you will not need more the 4,0 GHz. games can only use 4 cores as of today so intels CPU:s will get better perfromance but a bigger perfromance drop if something else is running. 8 Cores will have half the proccessor doing other stuff. mening any perfromance drop will most likeley not be CPU related.
  7. SlaveTats Stopped Working

I cant find racemenu. but that probably is becouse that load order is the size of solstheim. if you dont have racemenu plase install, problem solved
  8. [Help]General Skyrim modding issues

no clue... that is thee most wierd bug i have over seen. or top 10. i have a bug that makes my body change collour from skin collor to black depending on bakground. xD congratualions mate. you managed to fing the most wierd bug in the game
  9. I need help with clothes please

theres alot of good mods for this. a few links:   UNP Meshes and Textures: (Real Girls, SG texture renewal, Mature, Thepals CBBE Skin) CBBE Meshes and Textures: (Real Girls, Thepals CBBE Skin, SG texture Renewal)  SeveNbase Meshes. (Real Girls, SG texture Renewal (UNP file),  UNPB Meshes (will work with UNP mostly)   these are the most wideley used and will work with most armor packs.   theres more i just did a quick search on google
  10. Skyrim stability problem

dude what you just typed is what i said but explaned. i belive i said you cannot have that many mods and expect a perfectly running skyrim. this is in no way saying that if you install X amount of mods your skyrim will CDT. skyrim will CDT of the foloweing issues:   mod conflicts. (like if you install 2 whiterun overhauls it will CDT) Overloading papyrus (the script engine skyrim uses. if pushed a bit it may cause the example with the stachel. but if overloaded with scripts it will CDT and then you have to reinstall skyrim) Pushing Your GPU too far (like if its at 97%+ most of the time you will CDT on a single laggspike.) Pushing Your CPU too far (same as with GPU but it will most likeley CDT when skyrim tries to run another script. depends)  Going over the 3,1 RAM limmit (bad engine. bethesda to lazy to patch) incorrect loadorder may crash the game sometimes. sometimes it just causes instablitity wich obvioously will eventually lead to CDT Overloading the first block of RAM skyrim uses (256 MB limmit.) if made larger will almost make it impossible to overload. thing is skyrim has 2 blocks but when it tries to load the second block skyrim usually CDT:s. devs could have fixed this. we do not have acces to the core files they way they do) not installing a master for a mod (if mod X needs mod Y to function. not installing mod Y will CDT)   please do correct me if i missed something but i think we get the point by now yes?   also after modding this game for nearly 1,5 years i do belive i know what will and will not crash skyrim. however modst beginners acctually do think that installing X amount of mods will crash the game. and i understand why they think so. thank you for your time... but if you had happned to understand the post better this would not have been neccesary.   Edit: i just re-read your post.    every mod has some sort of impact. it may not be noticed but it will stack...    also i dont see how merging the mods will make any diffrence other then that skyrim main menu and loading screens will load faster.
  11. CTD On Startup

ENBoost is not an ENB. its an ENB ini file with the graphical stuff turned of (its the enblocal.ini)   Modded items is any item that the vanilla game did not include. a good example is the bows nock to tip adds. they will suck becouse you will have imperial bows doing more damage. i can post a link to a good video explaining how to make it work with other items. basiclaly it just alters the item stats. it does not change anything else so shuld be perfectly compatible with every single mod on the nexus.   can be a few that has not been covered yet. in short donwnload this, this and this then watch this video. the video is a bit outdated so basically balbor and steelsoulds skyre reproccer project is the skyre compatabillity and reproccer patches. (you can use balbor and steelsould but this one covers more mods)   i am unaware of the unarmed issue but i dont play werewolf.   also Download link to ENBoost     Modpage link
  12. Every newly created save file is corrupted

fair enught. but he's right. papyrus is overloaded.
  13. Skyrim stability problem

Quick note. everyone with that amount of mods will have stability issues. you cannot download that amount of mods and expect a perfectly running skyrim. ive seen worse cases but that is still pushing your luck
  14. Becouse lord gaben needs to stop messing with modding skyrim and let the professionals (AKA the modding community) do our work
  15. CTD after waiting or fast travel

i just have to ask.... do you really need that many mods? you are aware that sp many mods will give serious stability issues. it may not be a conflict but just that amount of mods will overload papyrus if anything. also if you have reported running out of VRAM then upgrade your system or just try to lessen the amount of mods (you probably have messed up the core files by now so dont touch anything as it may cause CDT if not installed. EG if you deactivate everything and try to run im willing to bet money on that you will CDT. if the game is breaking apart... dude remove, clean out everything and reinstall... if you keep this up you are gonna damage your hardware. just a warning
  16. Need help with moded Skyrim

It may also be hardware related. i eman given the amount of mods his hardware can have hit the limmit or he is overloading papyrus. or skyrim is just hitting the 3.1 RAM limmit
  17. CTD On Startup

yeah id not go with 4K. the diffrence is not worth the performance loss even if you do have the monitor.   skyre have a custom made compatability patcher that uses skyproccer. so just run it and everything that will not be compatible with it will show up in LOOT.   as of the civil war theres really only one mod that overhauls that.   i personally run skyre and i belive it adds imersive weapons to the game (can have been perkus maximus i dont remember). it is also incompatible with mods that overhauls the perk trees but it wont crash, just get overitten by the other mod.   it also boosts weapon damage for all vanilla weapons and boosts armor rating for vanilla armor. you will require separeta mods to make it work with modded items. i can post links and a good video if you need it.   BTW given your graphics card. get ENBoost. with a simple INI tweak you can download and run ENB:s at the same time as its on and will redirect some RAM usage to the VRAM.(i may have already said that... idk )  ENBoost will turn of the ENB if not told to not do that in the INI file
  18. CTD On Startup

Yeah the reinstalls is really anoying. but soo woth it in my opinion.   given the amount of mods you have you probably have leftover scripts thats is taking up alot of power.   BTW the guy on the thread you linked to have an overpowered system. that prossesor is so powerfull he will never have to worry about CPU power. this is a rough comparison of my GPU and his http://gpuboss.com/gpus/Radeon-HD-8760-vs-GeForce-GTX-960. that SSD will boost performance alot aswell due to faster read times so the CPU will not need to cahce as much data. the 4 GB VRAM will make skyrim stable as a rock with ENBoost. the RAM he has is more then what skyrim can alocate and windows needs only 4 GB (essentially meaning that he will have 900 MB RAM free at all times when runnig skyrim.   so that system is more then enught to (i havent read anything but his specs yet) run skyrim with a fperformance heavy ENB, skyrim HD set to 4K, game running on ultra with full render distance and open cities skyrim with a decent 40-50 fps as worst. so i wouldnt follow his guide fully. (unless you have an overpowered system too. the feel free. just keep in mind the more VRAM you have the more mods you can use without skyrim crashing due to RAM usage reacing 3,1 GB) i am gonna read it afer posting and i'll get back to you about it   however if you are inded going to reinstall. try to write down all mods you want and possibly even pre downlaod the graphical ones. (really boring to stare at a download that will take forever when you can just download it in advance)   now if you chosse to download the mods in advance. make a folder on your desktop named skyrim mods or something like that. then manually download every mod you wanted and drag them to this foler (without extracting them first, save the archives in the folder). then on nexus mod manager (i use that and have not tested on anything else) click on the blue pussle piece with a green plus sign on it and start adding the mods you intsalled. (this is like downloading with manager but way more stable downloads) now you can just activate the mods.   that was just a more convinent way to download so that you wont need to do it once more. you can leave the archives there and you will not need to download them again. if this is just stupid in your eyes then fell free to ignore it. just keep the VRAM part in mind and that his system is above avrage.   also im swedish so excuse any misspellings i may have not seen while going through this before posting   Edit:i have now read everything (mostly)   and i was right about the FPS. his SSD will still make a diffrence over the HDD. but if its three years old it is probably starting to loose performance.   his CPU... i have a weaker one (FX 8300 3,3 GHz Octa core) and im usually fine. but if you got an intel CPU like a I5 4460 your more then good.   as of GPU. no more FPS is probably just becouse the GTX 960 4 GB is only newer then the 660 2 GB. still more powerfull but only slightly. u see any seasoned tech guy or gamer will know that as for Nvidia cards the first number is gen and the second is version / power. had he bought a 970 he would have seen a 5-10 FPS boost if not more. the extra VRAM is probably what removed the stutering. stutter (also called frezze lag) is usually caused by not having enugh VRAM. (most games it's the normal RAM but skyrims RAM is capped at 3,1 and everybody's with a PC that is 2 years old or newer will havce at least 8 GB. and windows only needs 4 GB) as my GPU likes to remind me about... alot... in skyrim...   i suck at motherboards and colling systems so nothing to say about that   otherwise hes good at this. if you have the specs for it just follow everything he says (or do it your own way and take tips from the guide. (that acctually does require that you know some good bascis and perhaps more then basics about modding) if not then try to prioritise graphical mods. as tey are the main GPU power theives. scripts use the CPU though. but try not to overload papyrus (or whatever the scripts in skyrim are called. im no mod maker) or you will crash pretty damn fast.   Edit: (i type to much)
  19. CTD On Startup

ok look. i agree with myuhinny. this is so not worth the headace you can and will get from this if you try and simply fix it (i was noob, tried to fix everything when these things happned and the result was that there where such a big mess in the data folder even after i cleaned every single mod i had.) in these rare ocasions take the advice and uninstall and reinstall. (when i didnt i ended up having to reinstall windows becouse tea HDD kept overloading and i still have permanent damage to the HDD) just this time. to get the most stable game possible install these mods in that order before installing anything else (these are essentials and shuld be made shure to work proper before any other installation SKSE (this shuldn't even need a motivation)SKYui (mainly for the MCM menu wich is very very essential. there is a mod called SKYUI away if you dont like the new menus)The Unofficial patches (fixes every game breaking, major, anoying and minor bug the vannila game has. will make the game 99% bug free if playing at vanilla)Now after i'd made sure these work perfectly install every graphical mod you want. and i mean every one you will use. every texture replacers you want and even mesh replacers like SMIM. Lighting mods awell. body mods can be installed whenever though recomended to install now aswell. after this install skyrim performance monitor and start up skyrim. then find a very recource demanding location and stand there (windhelm docks orwhiterun on the stairs overlooking the entire town). this is just to get a good image of how much power your system has left to work with. do not let the RAM usage go over 3,1 GB or you will crash. there is only one workaround and that is ENBoost. but this is not a full workaround. just gives more room to move in. (it decreases RAM used but will make it use VRAM instead. and skyrim can alocate an infinate amount of VRAM without crashing) a common mistake many makes is that you think only by hitting the RAM limmit you can crash the game. this is why we installed Skyrim performance monitor. try not to let GPU and CPU usage go over 90% for the best performance and stability. try to keep GPU heat under 70°C (158°F) to prevent damage. Good mods to improve stability Skyrim memory patch (now included in SKSE)UGridsToLoad (known as cell stabilizer. usually only good for if you tweak that but it helps me with stability)Racemenu precahe killer (will prevent crashing due to opening Racemenu in game)Safety load (i think its obselite now but i use it to be safe)and after you install all of this and the game is as stable as its gonna get backup the skyrim data folder to an external folder (like create a folder called backups and copy the entire skyrim folder there) now keep modding like hell. push it to the absolute limmit if you want to but keep performance in mind. GPU overload will crash the game as fast as hitting the RAM limmit. but now if you much it up you dont lose as much progres. you basicaly have a patched and grapichally improved syrim to work with and it is a good base to start with so that you have a good base on how much power you have left to work with. Tip: when installing all the grapical mods try installing the mods you find essential. the must haves. the ones you cant live without. like more hotkeys if you want it. just make sure everything is stable and have a framerate of over 40 at least Tip 2: ENB:s make more of a diffrence over texture reselutions. try installing the ENB you want and turn the quality on skyrim up to ultra. than decrease the diffrent render distances to like half the original values. this saves much more resourses and does not look that bad. do keep in mind that if you have a weak GPU DO NOT install a heavy ENB. go performance. even those make a big diffrence. it makes the textures seem higher quality the they acctually are Tip 3: Windowed mode boosts performance for most people. just make sure that you install the mod OneTweak to get rid of the acctuall window and make the game look like fuil screen but its windowed. only downside is that you cannot tweak brightness in windowed. So... after that huge amount of work you skyrim shuld be set to work for forever now. do keep in mind thatif you delete the main folder and replace with the backup nexus mod manager will probably think you did nothing. not sure how to fix this. what i do is treat the mods i installed as with the main game so i basicaly dont need to be able to uninstall them. teherefore make shure that the mods you backed up will not be mods you may want to deactivate later. this litteraly took 80 minutes to type so im gonna go to bed now. Edit: i looked it up. Safety load is not obselite. Edit: your core files are good? Well then you probably dont suck as i did on my first install
  20. Stuck in native full screen resolution

Also thing i noticed was that the mod onetweak forces windowed mode. try installing that   (it does this for me anyway)    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/?
  21. dual sheath redux

Have a patch come out yet? i dont remember seeing this error when i installed (about 3 days ago)   Edit: figured i might also note that the skyproc patcher for dual setah redux is incompatible with throwing weapons redux (remake from death from afar throwing weapons mod) so dont try to patch with that on   Edit 2: just figured i might note for the topic starter aswell. that screenshot would be useless if the issue was'nt known and a fix existed already.
  22. Devoius devices infinite glitch

I have this wierd glitch/bug that when i get an item like a collar equiped on by by say bandits i get a messege like i tried to uneqip it. now whatever i press it just stays on. if i press carry on a new one apear moments after. it doesnt matter if i mash and i have to restart the game. any ideas on causes?
  23. Skyforged Weapons just dissapeared

Oh. sorry but i went of the modding commutity shorty after the paid mods started and then came back once i heard that it was gone.
  24. Does anyoone know where Skyforge Weapons by Dreogan go?
  25. Skyforged Weapons just dissapeared

So sad but so worth it...   Dear lord gaben. why u do dis? dont you see that you just made every modder and mod users life harder just becouse you think you can make  money on other ppls work for the comunity.    i mean lets face it. Steam workshop = failed atempt at making modding idiotproff...  paid mods = failed atempt at letting steam make cash of stuff that someone else made to make our lives a bit easier. (they wanted 50% i belive)   Edit: sorry about that. but it is so fustrating to see that steam has to play america on everything that has to do with gaming.
