  1. Or just find a way to edit out only the comments about cold and replace them with another vanilla comment or nothing. Though I have no experience with this so I don't know how much work is involved in doing so.

Or you could consider it sarcasm, since it used to be cold and now its frakkin hot

I was actually thinking about this. It honestly might not be that tough. Like, I remember when I wanted to make a custom elf race but also wanted other races to recognize that I WAS a Wood Elf. Turned out to be super easy and taking like 5 -10 minutes, just editing the dialogues and adding my custom race to the proper places.

No promises, but I will look into this the next time I load up the Creation Kit. Because honestly, Tropical Skyrim is super awesome.

  2.

I am not really sure this is skyrim but you can create ear like that easy with ECE.

The ears too? Most of the elf head meshes I've seen have ears that are stretched and aren't as smooth. I have ECE and the ear slider from that is different.

Thanks though, and maybe you're right about it not being Skyrim.

  3. This script is genius! Thank you so much, copying bone weights from one mesh to another was always a nightmare because of how it would override existing vertex groups...and if you wanted to keep those groups and add extra weights to the same area..ugh, so much re-painting would have to be done by hand.

Thanks again, excellent script and it works flawlessly for me.

  4. Certainly I can port them into skyrim. It appears that exactly what they are being sold for. Additionally, that appears to be what Elewin is doing with her stuff. I'm not familiar with her too much but it looks like she is making the purchases and handing them out to her "favorites"...I just want to make sure I can purchase textures and post them here to be ported, same as she - however it will be for everyone.  Thank you for your response though, clearly you were trying to help.

What does you think Endiness? If I don't hear back from anyone I completely intend to make a bunch of purchaes during the next sale, and if I can get people willing to make them in the right body types - they can be used by anyone.

They sell those to use in the Poser/Daz3d programs, not for other games. If you buy something and want to port it to Skyrim, ask the person who made it originally..chances are, if you actually DID buy it and didn't just find it for free online, then they might let you actually release it. Maybe. Some of those guys are stuffy bastards so maybe not.

Btw, I highly doubt Elewin is actually buying those files..almost every single file she has screenshots of can be found for free online. I could be wrong though. But I don't understand that person - I ported an outfit for Oblivion that I bought form Renderosity (Valeria Outfit) but I actually released it here, on LL. I didn't just tease people with it.

Btw, if anyone wants to convert it to a bodytype, the Valeria outfit is here - http://www.mediafire.com/?w5fyynub8wfhmrm

  5. I have Daz and 3ds. I still don't understand how to port anything.  :-/  'Cause I bought something off Renderosity a couple of days ago, and tried figuring it out, but then gave up on it.

You have to load your clothing (or whatever you bought from Renderosity) into Daz Studio and then export it as an .obj.

  6. Working on a new foot nif. UV editing so that it uses jiltek's textures and matches the bodies. UNP-BBP export skeleton is still giving me problems.

If any uber scripters would like to help me I could use scripts made.

Did you try exporting the pieces separately? Like, export the body by itself, then the feet, then the hands, etc. And import a new skeleton for the hands themselves when you export. I think that's how I did it when I made better hands and feet for CBBE body a while ago, because the BBP skeleton was throwing all all kinds of errors out when I exported hands and feet with it.

Or you could take a vanilla skeleton and add the BBP bones to it, and try that.

  7. I have never had any problems installing mods before, but the HH system makes my game crash at the main menu. I tried everything I can think of but it just doesn't work for me. Specifically, the skse.dll is what does it. When I remove the version of skse that comes with the HH mod, and uninstall the other HH files, my game runs fine. Weird.

Got an older version of Skyrim or SKSE?

I was just going to post that it was, of course, user error! I had old .dll's in there and I read that they messed up with some versions of the HH system.

Thank you though, it's a really great mod and has inspired me to try and port some Poser heels. If I am successful at it, I will post the links here..getting the weight sliders to work is my only hurdle atm.

  9. Hi there, first off thanks for sharing this, it looks really nice!

When I try using this in the Creation Kit and previewing the race with the Unified meshes, it gives me an error  "BSBodyMorph::InterpObject Node Array sizes between morph models don't match." And the model is invisible, both in-game and in the Creation Kit.

Is this on my end? I am using a custom race, if that has anything to do with it. I don't think it should though.

  10. Does anyone know where to get this facetexture?

Some say' date=' its a private alteration of the common Moonshadow Elves.

    I´m kinda obsessed with it...

    Ideas?

    [/quote']

I am pretty sure that is an Epic Elf. I could be wrong though, but the epic elf is a mooonshadow retexture. It comes with MBP++ I believe.

If not then it is definitely a Moonsahdow Elf without that eye makeup...and I want it too!

  11. I was using QTP myself till my old BFG 8800gts 640mb start melting' date=' so I switched from HD textures to those. http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38204 Almost same quality picture with less heat for me.

Honestly, I don't remember if edited normal maps included in QTP, if they are so it's useless for you then. It is also can be one (or more) of OBGE v2 shaders in work.

    [/quote']

Thanks, I am not sure that is just a normal map edit though. It looks like a texture replacer, must be a Japanese one.

When you need a new video card, I recommend the 460 SE. It's not super fast or anything (although it is quite a bit faster than the 8800 GTS) but it runs super cool. I live in a very hot place (it was 92 degrees today) and my card is idling at 30 degrees. My old 8800 GT used to idle at 53-55.

  12. Sure. :)

In nifskope, open up one of the bath files. For instance, "bath1001."

At the very bottom of the Block List, you will see an entry called "NiTextKeyExtraData." Select this.

Then on the Block Details list you will see an entry at the bottom called "Text Keys" with a + next to it. Click the + sign.

You should see 4 "Text keys." Each one of these control a certain aspect of the animation. For instance, if you click the + next to the first one, you will see Time-0 and the value of this is "start."

In the last "Text Key", you will see that this is an animation that plays a sound with it "BMSoundWater." The time here is 1.3. You just change the time for this animation to as long as you want. The 1.3 is how many seconds it will play. Set it to whatever you want, but remember, you will have to wait that whole time for it to stop. I don't think that ending the animation early will play nice with the bath mod lol.

  13. Watch this space Melodia. Nessa and I have plans....

    Yey!!!!

I take too many screenshots... there is likely more kissing scenes but this is the one I captured a couple times. There are a number of interesting scripted animations in CLS. Can't wait for chapter 3.

Neat, are those actually animations or are they just poses?

  14. The original readme mentions something about editing the kf files to make the animations longer. But I'm not an expert on this.

The author also said that he tried to give NPCs an individual bathing schedule but gave up because it turned out to be quite difficult to make them detect water. Placing bathtubs in every NPC house would probably also conflict with many other mods.

If you think you can archive something in that direction the mod clearly allows modifications in its license.

Not to necro such an old thread or anything, but I can tell you where to make the animation longer in nifskope if you would like.

  15. A makeout animation would be great. However it wouldn't be easy. Unlike the sex animations which has patterns in the motions' date=' kissing would involve much more. There would be a lot of small lip adjustments to every second of the animation and a bunch of other things that would have to be done to make the animation look convincing and not weird. This is why we rarely see kissing animations as opposed to the many sex animations in mods.

    [/quote']

True, but I remember there was one in a Morrowind mod that was decent enough. It wouldn't have to be perfect, even the Bioware hugs and kisses in their games have some weird issues.
