SexLab Framework Development - 1.61 Beta 1 - Nov 19th
lapolla replied to Ashal's topic in SexLab Framework
Yes you are absolutely, right. I can see what I messed up for NPCs by not adding DoNothing package. The question is then, is it still needed for the PC and aren't there another ways to immobilize NPCs, something like tai/tcai console commands? -

I do, but put it on the wild and do check PC or NPC. Still, there is huge lag, undressing, positioning, scaling BEFORE animation starts. -
fomod works like a charm with MO SL1.6. I don't have NMM to test it there

I do not think that this is true. I have tested it in scenario i've described in my first post and everything goes smooth with no animations break and when animation end the pc is returned to sneaking/"on all four" idle, ready for the next round. Also, i think that there is visible decrease in lag time before the actual animation starts, I guess those package overrides are time consuming. -

Yes, there is. As I wrote above, do not cancel sneaking and do not add "donot" packages, and it works for that case. In general, looks that there is no API Thanks for the answer! -

Sounds easy, if we can't understand them, what about to not to brake them. Just an idea. -

Hey Ashal, I was wondering/thinking, is there a better way to not break the current idle before sex scene starts? For example, I am using mod that replaces sneaking idle with "on your four" one, don't remember mods name and SLAC. Sneaking is configured as invite in SLAC, so before the animation starts there is ClearEffects() call that changes sneaking and AddPackageOverride with "DoNothing" package. With both commented, ActorRef.StartSneaking() AddPackageOverride, the whole process runs smoother. And since there are mods like MariaEden that changes current idle, is there a way to remember/not change idle before sex scene and restore it at the end? Kudos on your great work! -
Just quit it, wrye bash, and you ask dentarr for support?

LOL lordescobar6666 is getting emotional about NMM vs MO Imagine this: When you run Skyrim trough MO, it creates virtual file system, known to you as famous data folder. So if you have mod A that have meshes/textures/scripts, mod B with same and Mod C. Depending on the order they will overwrite at run time. A C B B overwrites them all. Unless there is something into the "overwrite" folder. Unchek B - C rules. Now imagine how u do that by hand or NMM.

There is no need to start new game, just reset animation registry in SL.

.fomod installs flawlessly with MO 1.3.10/11

Cheers mate! Been there, done this. Trust me when I give an advice. Cheers!
