At this point unless NMM suddenly became vastly superior to MO I wouldn't switch back. I understand the perspective of those who say NMM fits their needs and they don't need MO's features- because I'm very satisfied with MO currently and don't see the few issues I have with the tool being soved by NMM any time soon.   To be honest I don't understand why MO has this reputation of being so hard to learn. The tutorials and such that come bundled with the program are nice, and the STEP wiki is pretty informative too. I haven't had nearly as much trouble with learning it as, say, Wrye Bash.

I tried CBBE, proportions were a bit exaggerated for my taste but for a while it seemed like it had the most support so I said eh, no biggie. Couldn't be bothered to mess around with Bodyslide.   When UNP gained more traction I switched to that; I liked the shape better and some of the texture options appealed to me more than the ones available with CBBE. Plus I feel- and this may be completely untrue but it's just what I've seen- like there's a greater diversity of armor and clothes available for UNP. Not just more stuff in general, but a greater range from skimpy to non-skimpy. Not every day is a bikini day for me.   I'm not messing with my Skyrim install right now but maybe one day I'll get real picky and futz with textures and meshes and skeleton edits to get that *perfect body* myself. Highly unlikely this will ever happen, but i can dream...

Was surprising how different this place is from its reputation on other sites. Much more chill than I expected, and less hypocritical than other places. Let's leave it at that.   Am glad to be here, I've already read some great and helpful tutorials in particular! And while some peoples' ideals of beauty here just don't match my own, I think there's a lot I can appreciate. And I certainly can respect even those I don't agree with.
