  1. You have to really have a great deal of patience with scripts and scripting vane000, it's a very long and painful road, some folks just are not good at wrapping their head around it, it's like "seeing" a 2D texture and knowing how it will look on a 3D mesh, that one still drives me insane. You will get it, one time it will just go off like a light bulb and things will become clear. Your fortunate to have A.J. to help , I can recall when she was still learning it.
  2. Help With FNV Load Order Issues

That is true you can merely rename an "*.esp" file with a flagged header as an "*.esm" to an *.esm file but be aware of any master file dependencies that *.esp file may have, this would limit how high it can go in the load order.
  3. Paid Modding is gone.

There are many different marketing strategies that would have worked far better than merely stepping in and slamming the "paid" Hammer down on folks. The fact that Zenimax Media went along with it and actually encouraged it, says loud and clear it will return again, and I see it in the form of "tools" first. If another game from them or any other developer comes out with a "toolset" or "tools" of any kind, expect a much higher price tag, an EULA and probably some form of digital SLA to come along with it. I do not believe the PAB are done with messing with the modding and Indie developer communities. Why? Simple.. Lost revenue streams. Any time you dip into the pockets of or take away any limelight from a major player, expect retaliation to soon follow. These are simply my impressions and opinions which do not reflect those of this site or community.
  4. New Vegas worth playing?

With what is available here and elsewhere, you can setup a pretty decent FNV. It's worth the effort, but FNV is quite different than FO3, and modding in it is quite a bit more difficult, especially the GECK NV, it does not like to behave well at all on certain things. FNV can be a bit harder in getting mods to work properly together than in FO3, I have not tried or been very successful with Mod Organizer, so you may want to look into MO, it seems to really help allot with Mod issues in FNV, I still use FOMM and the old manual install method when FOMM cannot handle it properly, BSA and scripts seem to be where FOMM has the most trouble. There is a new version of FOMM being worked on here, it has come quite a long ways from it's older version, I would look into that version of FOMM as well.   As to unique mods for FNV, the list would be a huge wall of text here and may or may not suite your particular tastes, so just have a look around and try a few at a time to see how it goes and be sure to "READ", all the developer has to say in regards to their work, I see the most mistakes and issues happening just based on not reading the OP (Original Poster's) content.
  5. GECK is suddenly broken!

Setting up a small NAS with VMs is a good setup and very inexpensive. Keeps all the games and what is needed for them separate from the main system, this prevents the need to download all your games again, if the OS takes a nose dive. Also VM's take far less resources to run than a full OS, makes games run very speedy. Doing developing of games on a Linux OS with Wine works pretty well too, as an alternative OS that requires very little hardware. If you are going to use XP as a gaming and developing platform, I suggest keeping it off the Internet or put it behind a router where only the essential ports for Steam, Origin, etc. are open and all the rest closed, otherwise the system could easily be compromised and potentially get access to the other machines.
  6. Mismatch head and body skintones

Converting the *.esp to an *.esm or set the *.esm flag on in the *esp, both methods should work.
  7. Let's talk memory. Laptop memory.

Lets start off by getting a little bit more information, first what is the model and make of your laptop? I am seeing in the images what looks like it could be a part number for an HP, but that could be misleading due to the RAM being Samsung, not my first choice for memory. If your total amount of physical RAM is 4GB, then yes you seriously need more. Why? Skyrim will use that much on it's own, so this leaves nothing for the OS. As suggested above, making sure no background applications are running would be a good start, get familiar with the command and application "msconfig". This can be used to stop all background applications from running at start up, a real memory killer for games. Skyrim also needs a 2GB or better video card, to perform "well" at all, sure they state it will run fine on a 1GB card, but that may be under ideal situations and with no mods. Let me know if I can help you further, I design and build systems specifically for high end applications, game development, drafting and design, etc.
  8. Place your bets for Bethesda's E3 2015

FO4 will "NOT" be in the announcement, look at the history of Obsidian, every franchise they get, dies there, period. I doubt we will ever see a FO4.
  9. Let me know if you need help with any language issues. It might be simpler to just to ship you an English version. I will have to give this a try again, I enjoyed the earlier versions.
  10. Problems with nude character

The mesh has the animations for bouncing, so if the body does not have these animations it will not bounce, this is why the armor does and the body does not. You need to add a body that has this.
  11. I need a new PC ... but not anything special.

You listed "Skyrim" that game takes quite a load of resources to run well, especially if you start adding mods to it, for a basic box, you can get by on around $350, then add in a decent video card for another $100 or so and you should be fine. CPU I would go no less than 3.0 or higher, DDR3 RAM at 16000HZ should be fast enough and 8GB of RAM is plenty. Stick with a video card that has 1GB of RAM or more, probably 2GB video card would be best. Take a look at some "Barebones" systems, these are usually pretty good deals which have all the basics covered and is a good starting point. Let me know if I can help you further, building systems and networks for the IT and Gaming Industry is what I do for a living.
  12. New to FNW

Yeah there are several different body and clothing combinations but not as many as there were for Fallout 3 or Oblivion, still the most clothes are made for the Type 3 body, which goes back to Dimon99's original work, there is also some nice work done by Kendo2 , which may interest you. I have not looked in detail to find "skimpy" armor specifically, I recall when I last looked the selection was not that great, perhaps now it is better. You will probably find a greater selection of this here than anywhere else. Let me know if you need help with finding what you want, if you give me at least some idea of the body you plan to use that will help.
  13. Might be a DawnGuard Issue

Yeah there is a second option, to be partially soul trapped by Serana, then later on in the Soul Cairn you can find the soul gem and get your trapped soul back, after this you can enter and leave with no issues. If you were made into a Vampire by Serana, then the effects will start to manifest usually about that time you are experiencing, if you were not made a Vampire then you are having some odd script behavior possibly coming from one of your other mods. Post your load order and let us know what "race" you are using, this may help narrow it down for you.
  14. Purple items?

You can open the console, click on the item or asset that is purple and note the first two digits it returns. This should tell you what mod it is by looking at your load order and finding the mod that starts with those digits. For Skyrim TESVEdit is a good program for this.
  15. [FONV] Error when starting the game with NVSE

Nope, if you have NVSE, NX (NVSE Extender) and 4GB loader at their current latest revisions, that should be good. Happy to help, if it does help . And Steam Beta is terrible, I ran that once and it completely fubared my Steam Client and game installs, had to download over 50 games all over again, since those early days I have learned quite a bit more with respect to Steam Games and have hardly ever had to re-download one since.
  16. Any mods I can't handle?

Your current machine should handle just about anything currently available for Skyrim, I would not be concerned there, obviously with 200 mods running you know the rest.
  17. [FONV] Error when starting the game with NVSE

NVSE is at 4.6b now, I would update to that version, it is what is being recommended for the mods hosted here. Let me see if I have this correctly, you have your Steam client and your games separated on different drives or partitions? I cannot say I have ever tried that, but using Symbolic links if you are, should have worked. So I am guessing it is NVSE not seeing the Steam client running, due to it being on a different drive. I would leave the games where they are and install the Steam client to the same directory ,then verify the game cache, Steam will pick up the games and register them within the client. You might also look in the Event Viewer and see exactly what program the error points to, this will help in diagnosing the problem. Let me know if I can help further.
  18. Crash on the Exit

Oh ok jaam, that's good to know.
  19. Working Sex mod for Fallout 3.

lol, hysterical, yep I have had some of those wild and crazy experiences with sexus, I usually kill the larva with a combat knife or similar bladed weapon, trying to shoot them usually does not work, although Firelance and the Alien Blaster seem to do a nice job on them too. Definitly get all the add ons and let me know if you need help sorting the load order, it can be a bit of a battle getting it just right so all the animations work properly. I have never run Rape Punch, I can actually say I have not run any SexoutNG or Sexlab stuff in quite a while, I might look into that stuff again.
  20. Crash on the Exit

Meh , my bad, I thought all DirectX installs were backward compatible, perhaps since it is at version 12 it no longer supports version 9.
  21. I cant get FNIS to work

That error seems to be getting generated from FINS Creature pack 5.1, it's reference appears in BehavioredObjects.txt Probably need to install this after installing FINS Behavior 5.2 and let it over write everything. At least that's what the instructions for it say to do, hopefully that will fix your error. If that does not work try downloading a new copy, it may have been corrupted somehow.
  22. Crash on the Exit

Your isolation here is definitely showing through, there are many posts in regards to DirectX issues and the crash on shutdown problem on many technical support forums, it has nothing to do with an "updated" version of DirectX 9 but a corrupted one. You are at least correct on there not being updates or work on DirectX 9 in years.
  23. I can't update my mod.

Try a different browser like Firefox and see if you still have the upload/download issue, if you do or have tried this already I would get in touch with a Moderator or Ashal the Administrator and see if they can help, server side issues can only be done by them. Check with either BruceWayne or DoctaSax, they are good knowledgeable people who will do their best to help you.
  24. Flat breast

It sounds like an issue with the HDT Physics, I have heard of this before with bouncy animations. Check and see if the body and such you chose is supported by the HDT Physics plug in you chose, other than that I would try a step install. A step install is when you install one or two things, verify they work and proceed to the next step. I  frequently see where a step was missed, usually by accident, or people getting in a hurry , <enter I am guilty of this one here>. Let me know if I can help you further isolate your issues. Also post a load order of what you have and possibly a papyrus log.
  25. SexoutNG for Fallout3: It's Here

With CTD's and such taking place , a good place to start would be to run FNVEdit , make sure it loads everything you have running with no errors, then run a conflict filter and see what that shows. I would be interested in those results, I am leaning towards conflicts being found with respect to scripts. Post your load order and any other relevant information that can help the people here have a better picture of what you are experiencing.
