  1. LoversGGBlackmail

Thanks for the info, fejeena. If anyone happens to find a working mirror to CLS files, please share it! In the meantime, since I'm here, I'll try also ggblackmail.
  2. LoversGGBlackmail

About missing files, what's the status with CLS? I know it's barely compatible with LAPF (although a patch exists) but the links to the resource archives are long dead. I've scoured the related threads for a mirror, but couldn't find one. I have never played the quest, so I'm very curious about it.   EDIT I know a download is available at the nexus site, but Loverslab's version should be more complete, am I right?
  3. 1.1 Update uploaded (a small fix for MorriganBoots2.nif, non RHH version of the boots) I have learned another lesson here. Making a non RHH version of shoes/boots is not simply a traslation along the Z-axis, there is more to it. If you do that, the calf will burst out of your nice boots... just horrible. I didn't notice because I had been using only the RHH version. I had to use the Clothing Converter (and Mesh Rigger) again using the original non-RHH version as target, and the same lattice. Tested in game, now it's just fine.
  4. Spunk Textures for LPK

I finally found out the reason behind my problem with this mod. It's all about the shader package used, and outdated or low-end graphic hardware likely won't display the textures properly. Could be also the way DirectX_9 is rendering graphics in latest versions of Windows (compared to XP). In any case, no more flickering, at last!
  5. Showing muscles!

I decided to remove the images because I never received an express consent to use the texures for publishing these screenshots. Sorry for the sudden change of mind.
  6. What's the deal with private mods?

Slightly off-topic: lately I'm beginning to take more seriously a modder's point of view. I've come to regret posting some screenshots because they contained assets passed to me via PM (personal modifications of someone else's body textures). Now I feel it was a mistake, and the only way to amend (perhaps it's already too late) would be removing them. I have not received any formal complaint, mind you, it's just a speculation of mine. I'll try to be more careful in the future, at least asking permission beforehand. Because of my superficiality, I feel like the description of "internet asshole" used by kendo in his post could be appropriate in this case. Sorry for the digression. More in tune with the OP, I'm beginning to understand why people could get pissed for what other people do with their mods (even when they're not private).
  7. Combat Stance Reanimation

Files go in the specialanims folder as usual. If your mod was scripted, the check would be easier (just the gender) and you would add only 6 animation (not 6 for each race). I know you don't like the idea, but I would suggest trying to learn how to use ToggleAnimOverride and RefreshAnimData functions from inside a script. That's when Blockhead's power becomes unlimited. I think I'll give it a try sooner or later.
  8. I've done a fresh install of Oblivion and LAPF mods, I think everything is setup correctly (I'm using a load order well tested and reliable). OBSE, menuque and Pluggy are fine. However I'm now getting the same messages reported in this PSE post http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15074-player-slave-encounters-v0694-updated-23-aug-14/?do=findComment&comment=1341356 (I don't have PSE installed, so it's something related to LAPF general). The message appears for a couple of times, after that the LAPF animation starts and play normally, so it isn't much of a problem, just a simple nuissance. Just wondering what it may be.   I suspect it has something to do with my ini value: set xLoversPkrIni.UseReset3D to 2 I'll try resetting it to its default value 0 (although the comment suggests "1", but I think it's a typo).   EDIT xLoversPkrIni.UseReset3D looks unrelated. In the PSE thread someone suggested the possibility of missing animations, but I only have LAPF and LoversCreatures installed. I'm not sure about MotionNT (what's that?)
  9. My personal favorite is the ZaZ Face Down gear, looks like flying. Precisely, is more like being pushed by a Boeing 747. Seriously... I still haven't fully understood what skin partitions are and what they are for, but this is a stange case. Could be that the bigger block is almost locked in place, scarcely influenced by the horse's skeleton? As for the 6MB mesh, I don't know what to say, too much detail, perhaps. However, I'm more inclined to accept Dusk's interpretation (the game engine exploding when there are multiple animations concurring). The proof is that the crash happens (at least for me) mostly at startup, when the character's pose is switching between "mounting" and "getting mounted", exactly at that moment. Past that point, I have a few minutes of normal gameplay before the next bad event, and in my environment (FCOM, scripted weather and who knows what else) it is hard to blame one mod or another. I think I got rid of the last dirty mod just recently (it's in my signature... ), changed OS and graphic card, but still my setup is troublesome.
  10. Thank you very much for the reply, Dusk_. So there's little we can do to prevent the occasional crashing. I have noticed a few things though: 1. replacing the calls to Activate with Activate2 is harmless (I'm unsure whether it is effective in reducing the crash events or not, but the mod keeps working). 2. mounting from the right side of the horse (making your character "jump" to the other side as the mount animation starts) seems to avoid the crash on occasions. I guess it acts as a delay, and sometimes could prevent the conflict between animations you mentioned. 3. it's best avoiding mounting (getting mounted, i.e.) as soon as the game loads. Depending on how heavily the game is modded, the startup phase is always a delicate one. Waiting for OBSE, scripted weather mods,  real high heels, and other mods to intialize can help. 4. Prevent combat music from playing all the time, even for rats! I tried using the EMC2 OBSE plugin and Dynamic Music System to create a custom playlist for "Riding", and the game stability has improved overall (not just for Lovers Riders).    EDIT (Forgot to add this one:) Dismount, from time to time, and save (not quicksave) to a new slot. Better safe than sorry
  11. Really High on Sex

Could be that you're using vipcxj's Real High Heels? I have seen this sometimes (not often, really). Also turning collisions on/off for NPC and PC in Lovers with PK.ini could help fix this problem.
  12. This "Oblivion is dead" topic looks very similar to the "Rock is dead" one. I never subscribed to it. Thanks for sharing your GPU settings.
  13. Uploading videos

Here it is: I posted in the Oblivion adult mods section because there is some mild adult content, but mostly is FUNNY. Check it out!
  14. "What mod is this?"

If I'm not mistaken, BBB can be stripped from a mesh using Mesh Rigger ("Remove Bone Weights" option only).
  15. LoversBitch Gone Wild 1.51 BB fix

I have my own reasons to prefer method 2, still your whole post is very helpful and correct. Thank you for sharing.
