    Sorry for deleting my post, I was including a quote to make sure you read it. One rule could be that the poster must specify the degree of accuracy of the wig/hairstyle. By the way, great idea. I myself often use Facegen Demo to make my characters look like celebrities (I'm only modding for Oblivion, for now).
  3. Don't worry, those vertices are no more in the mesh (I reloaded my initial .blend file, with just the waistline selected).
  4. I already know how to merge an upperbody mesh to a lowerbody (which is often what you find in Oblivion .nif files) in Blender. But I find it difficult to do the opposite. I have now a mesh with merged torso-legs which I want to split. I have located and selected the vertices that compose the waist and used "Mark Seam" (I though it would help with the selection, but perhaps it was not necessary). Then I have selected all the faces above the seam with the Circular Selection brush, using "occlude background geometry" when needed. Now I need to create a new Object and parent the selected faces to this new Object. I don't know how to proceed... is this something I can do in Edit mode or Object mode? How?

    You're too late, AF. I may have dug the grave for my PC today, but who cares? I have the outfit! The textures are contained in kiki's mod. It makes sense, since they are the same.

    And conversely, if I set the material property of the suit to skin, and the texture to femalefoot.dds, I get exactly the variant of the LightGUTS body created by tbsk. The best part being that I can finally use a body that matches perfectly the conversion of Yuravica's FLY clothes.

    Cool. Thanks for the advice. If I get this right, with this method I could recreate the Impractical Bodysuit for any body compatible with HGEC textures, isn't it?   EDIT I think yours it's the version from kiki (plenty of skin exposed).

    Note: I added a link to my previous comment, it contains some screenshots. Actually it's not a conversion from Nailflan's original. It looks like tbsk used this variation (download link is in the same page). If I knew for sure what body was used, I could attempt a conversion. Also, tbsk states it is a Light GUTS conversion, but looks more like DMRA GUTS to me. I think the term Light GUTS has always been confusing. Some modders use the Manga upperbody, some Muki Muki, and some a specific version of HGEC EBE E Cup, and combine it with a (customized?) HGEC GUTS lowerbody.   @ myuhinny: You were right. The author specifies the body used. It's the HGEC body from RAIAR, I only have to find the matching size and try to create a good lattice. Thanks.

    I'm looking for a DMRA GUTS version of Nailflan's Impractical Bodysuit. I'm pretty sure that the conversion is around (I have seen it in many dance animations, particularly from tbsk) but fiinding download links isn't exactly my strong suit.  Or perhaps it has never been released. This is the link to the relevant blog page.   Of corse I can use the Clothing Converter, but I thought it was better to ask before reinventing the wheel.
  13. In object mode, select both parts (shift+left click expands the selection) and use "Join Objects" to join the meshes. However, you cannot export as it is, or you'll get separate blocks in Nifskope. To have a single block, the parts you joined must share the same material property. [in the button window, select "Link and Materials"] Delete the material property from one of the parts, and select the other from the dropdown list. Or perhaps you must first uniform the material property, and then join the objects. The exact procedure eludes me now, since I made it only once, but either one way or the other *should* work.

    I will try to assist you however I can, it will be the occasion to test the new Blender (2.73a) interface. I can import the nifs in v 2.49b, export in 3ds max format and use that format in v 2.73a. Finally import the .3ds file back in v 2.49b and export as .nif file.   There are new, powerful features we can exploit. Soon I have discovered a "select similar region" function that allows to extend a particular selection to the simmetrical faces (very useful).  It's always been there, what a fool I am. But now it works better (can be use effectively to extend the selection to simmetrical faces). I'm already at work.   About the body / BBB version to use: we can use the new standards or the classical (Saaya/Coronerra) scheme, that is not really important, as long as we keep everything consistent. In the end, porting from one to the other shouldn't be too difficult using Mesh Rigger. Just strip the weight painting from the mesh and copy the weights from the other body.   NO TIMELINES, NO PROMISES!

    So...? Did I miss some block when creating the nif? Here's how I created it from your example nif (the one from Mur_Zik): 1. Block>"Remove" (not Remove Branch) only the body and outfit elements, leaving the skeleton (and the rest). 2. Block>"Paste Branch" in the Scene Root Speedbuster's outfit, one block at a time. 3. Block>"Crop to Branch" the Scene Root 4. Optimize>"Remove bogus nodes" (no nodes were removed).   That's odd. In both your sample nifs (the one you posted here and the one sent by PM) I can't find the "Cilinder.000.00" block you mention, yet it's there in mine.

    I'll keep both recommendations in mind when it'll be time to make a choice. Thank you.   I will be checking the topic regularly, in case anyone else feels like adding suggestions.   P.S. RAM is 4 GB now,  but I can upgrade to 8 GB.

      Another demo mesh, based on Annafly's "joke". I could have left some reduntant block in the file, sorry for that. It's from "SPBbodyAndLatex H Cup" mod I found on Nexus. The upperbody is quite similar to Athena sexy chain, so if you prefer a smaller size, it shouldn't be too hard to find it, and make a mashup. SPBbodyAndLatex H cup.7z   P.S. It appears it isn't rigged for BBB, but the upperbody is supposed to be replaced anyway.
  19. Not sure if this should be posted here or in the tech help section. I attached a script to vanilla gold trimmed shoes (the mesh is borrowed from Vipcxjs's test mod). I adopted the 'Normal' height, although 'LLL' was more appropriate, perhaps. Nevermind. This is not the real problem. As you can see from the screenshot, also other NPCs get a vertical shift in height, even though their shoes are not scripted. What's going on? I tried fixing the behaviour from the Controller Menu, and ended up screwing the height for different (non scripted) equipment like armor.

    I migrated to CSE (CS Extended) upon suggestion from varenne exactly for that reason. With it, you have the ability to edit plugins depending from OBSE (it's like launching the CS through OBSE) plus there are many other advanced functions (you can save as .esp or .esm, for instance)
  22. I had to correct hastily my list. Gas masks are actually prohibited because contain LENSES/GLASSES. Talking of GLASSES to me is like talking of RATS to Weebem-Na.  
  23.   It will be my pleasure, here's MY lore, roughly summarized. The ordering reflects the importance of each entry in Tamriel's history. 1. First and foremost, futanari and breast implants are allowed. Futanari definition is very loose and includes transsexuals, hermaphodites, femboys etc. 2. Strap-on, gags, handcuffs and all sorts of kinky accessories and equipment are allowed (except gas masks, see 5.) 3. Bikini armor is allowed Armor rating is equiparable to Steel armor, at best. 4. Characters generally speaking have ugly faces, like the average LL user. The only exceptions tolerated (by decree of Emperor Uriel Septim VII) are the player character, a few of his/her companions, and Arielle Jurard. 5. Glasses and sunglasses are instantly banished to Sheogorath's Realm (the task is assigned to the Mages Guild). Optical lenses' use is exclusive to the Orrery in the Arcane University, by special permission of Hannibal Traven. 6. The official language of Tamriel is English, although UI elements, menus, item names, subtitles and such can be written in any language (Japanese, Chinese, Russian, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese etc.) 7. The use of lasers, firearms and explosives (except milk/sperm grenades) is strictly prohibited. Only weapons allowed fall either in the Blade or Blunt category (Swords, Axes, Claymores, Dildos etc..) This should cover everything.

    Core temperatures look fine to me. How long has the machine been running? Keep those values under observation, though. If not the overheating/ PSU problem, could be also a driver problem (but you seem to have ruled out that one as well). Are you overclocking?   Everything is been fine for about a year, you say... No hardware changes... and now, suddenly... Have you checked the CPU manual/spreedsheet to compare the voltage values?

    Could be that. Or you need to put a film of thermal paste over your processor. Check the fan speed with a dedicated software (CPU Fan, for instance). (I didn't see the posted image). Check if the PSU fan is operational, first, and the Core(s) temperatures. I'm not very informed about voltage values, but you can check the spreedsheet provided by the CPU manufacturer.   I had similar problems lately, and it was the PSU. The heat partially damaged my HDD too, so try to be quick about it! Of course, there can be also other causes.
