Help with real high heels configuration
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
Looks like the "L" script is the best option for this particular mesh (in average terrain conditions). The skeleton, animations and idles I use can also play a part in that. The most interesting is the fourth image. It reveals that something is wrong with the floor at First Edition, because all three characters are more or less "floating". I wonder if this would happen with the Real High Heels mod disabled and standard shoes. One last thing. I'm not able to inspect the content of Vipcxjs scripts in CSE. They appear blank (although they work, when applied). In one case, for the script with the "Controller" suffix, the content of the script appeared for a fraction of second, then the script editor window turned blank again. -
Help with real high heels configuration
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
Yes, I've found the dress. There are also the matching stockings+shoes, RealHighHeels enabled. They don't fit my main character (luckily I have found a valid replacement), but for some of my female companions are perfect. Since I've been using "See You Sleep" it's difficult to get a decent rest without changing clothes for the night... (it's one of my favorite mods). So, there are at least two systems for RealHighHeels too... it figures. And the equipment designed for one is clearly incompatible with the other (unless tweaked). Good to know. My headache, again... -

Dr. Evil... Fantastic! -
It's all about the number of vertices that form the final loop at the ankle/wrists, simple as that. To have seamless mendings there must be a 1:1 matching of vertices around the borders of the meshes to join. This way one can snap the vertices with extreme precision. And use, for example, standard Robert Female feet or sandals etc. Well, at least this will introduce compatibility for geometry. I'm not sure about UV mapping compatibility. GIGA, as soon as you can spare the time, check the support thread too. In the meantime, can someone please be more specific about what the main plugin does?

GIGABITE - FemBoy Body
QuiteTheTail replied to GIGABITE's topic in Downloads - Oblivion Adult & Sex Mods
I see. I know of Blockhead (and use it). So, instead of hardcoding the path in the nif, I can just place the textures in the right AssetOverride subfolder. Clever. I should have guessed, but I didn't know it would have worked for the skinned portions of the armor, too. I need to figure out how to get the replacement. One last thing. Using Blockhead over hardcoding, however, will force me to use the main Femboy plugin (to set the FormID or Race, or to attach the necessary scripts). I wish there was an alternative. EDIT Well, the armor will be added using the original plugins, so I can use the FormIDs. I hope I can specify the replacement for the entire plugin content, having to do it for each piece of armor wouldn't be much of an improvement over harcoding. Only the few body meshes would remain out, and for those I could hardcode the path. Then again, before doing anything, I'd better wait for version 4.0 How about an OMOD or a Bain Installer with options? In my case, the usual archive format would be better. @ GIGABITE I posted another message in the other topic ("It's a trap"). -
Problem exporting from Blender 2.49b in .3ds format

I got the installer many weeks ago (months perhaps). I don't check regularly for updates... -
Problem exporting from Blender 2.49b in .3ds format
QuiteTheTail posted a topic in Oblivion Technical Support
I'm willing to try the latest Blender version in my possession (v2.73a). While waiting for the next realease of Blender nif scripts - I have tried using the 2.6.0a0.dev4-01.04.15 Alpha build, with no luck - I'm trying to export as .3ds from Blender 2.49b, to import as .3ds in Blender 2.73a When I opened the .3ds in 2.73a though, all I got was an empty 3D view (without warning messages). Not only that, it looks like Blender 2.49b can't even open the .3ds file exported by itself, and I get a strange error message: Unknown file type error [...] File is not a Blender file. EDIT How stupid of me. I was trying to open (not import) the file. Common mistake. These are the parameters I used for importing: Size Constraint: 0 (disabled) Image Search: Off Transform fix: On It works fine with both versions of Blender. -
Other theories behind the disappearance of the dwarves? (Be creative).

Problem exporting from Blender 2.49b in .3ds format
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Technical Support
No. I've been playing vanilla Skyrim so far, and I never tried to mod myself. I don't even know if Skyrim meshes are in nif format! All I can share is that you need to use a transitional format like .3ds to work in 2.73a, as it cannot import/export NIFs. And finally use 2.49b to export in NIF (so, sorry but it seems that you must repeat the painful procedure in Nifskope). -
Agreed.

[Request/Idea] Khajiit 6 Breast StockArmor/Clothes
QuiteTheTail replied to DeadSomething's topic in Oblivion Adult Mods
This could be achieved using Blockhead either explicitly (using scripts) or implicitly (using AssetOverride folders for the Khajiit race). -
New Clothing Body Style Converter Beta v0.89f (10-26-2014)
QuiteTheTail replied to gerra6's topic in Modders Resources
Quickly! I use only 1% of Nifskope's features/potential. Never got the hang of it. Perhaps in the future... If you're sure it's a better/quicker way of attaining the same result, go ahead. I could try the Blender method, and then we could compare the results. I suspect that Nifskope is more precise, after all. Misunderstanding on my behalf. You're suggesting to import in Blender the block containing the HFB breast thrice, adding the body, then do the editing. It's another option, but I think DeadSomething is specifically interested in some E-Cup clothing or armor (haven't checked the links yet). -
New Clothing Body Style Converter Beta v0.89f (10-26-2014)
QuiteTheTail replied to gerra6's topic in Modders Resources
No, the texture is the same, imperial\footfemale.dds. The different areas of the mesh where the nipples reside are all mapped to the same portion of the texture, then. I can't see another explanation. Will the kind of editing I have in mind preserve the UV mapping or not? There's only one way to find out. Off topic (Blender question): The main problem I face when editing meshes in Blender (particularly body meshes, I don't know why) is that the texture in the exported nif always looks like patchwork. No matter how hard I try to smooth the surface around the mendings, there is always a heavy contrast between the existing areas and those added by editing. I think I should rebuild the UV map to fix it, but it's something I'm not very familiar with. -

Awesome. It would be a good idea to test your trinckets against different body meshes, not the only one you're using now (even if it means leaving a little residual gap). That way, even more people could benefit from your work. -

I have to apologize for accusing you of necromancy in the past (here's why the name Add1k sounded familiar)... In fact, you're not a necromancer, you're an amazing necromancer! How do you know so much about mods and modders is something that fills me with stupor. And putting aside jokes, for one time, I'll admit that is always a pleasure, and there is always much to learn reading your comments (well, at least when I understand what the heck you're talking about). Thanks. -

Yup, but... standard textures don't have 6 nipples. I assume the C-cup 6 breast body uses a dedicated texture? -
New Clothing Body Style Converter Beta v0.89f (10-26-2014)
QuiteTheTail replied to gerra6's topic in Modders Resources
Definitely should work. If I get this right, all you need to get started is a "HGEC Ecup 6 breast" body, and a basic set of clothing (6 breast E-Cup too). All of this should be done in Blender. Once you have them, you can resize them using the Converter, and texture them to whatever you like. I admit it's already difficult (for me). Just one thing (about the body meshes): let's pretend I succeed at creating the right geometry, but how about the UV map (nipple coloration, muscular lines and so on)? Texturing is not exactly my daily bread... If you're just looking for a template, that shouldn't be important though. Ah, you're working on beast races... it makes sense. -
Help with real high heels configuration
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
I'll have to try in different areas/ terrain types to confirm it's not a collision issue. However, the screenshot provided by myuhinny is clearly suggesting that there's a problem with alignment. As I said, I took these shoes from the test mod, and perhaps when I imported/exported in Blender (to mend the seams at the ankles) the translation info present in the original .nif went lost. To answer your questions, the script I have attached is named zzzVipCxjHighHeelsScript [editor ID: xx000ED3] which should be the "Normal" height, if I'm not mistaken. I would never have guessed the possible involvement of the .kf file used for walkforward (there's a lot to learn from you, although I must say, when I read your posts, usually all I get is a tremendous headache). And I'm not talking about your english, it's just that you fill in so many technical details I'm just too ignorant to understand. It won't be long before my characters will refuse to bounce their boobs, until it's definitely sure what version of BBB system they are using. (Just a little joke, forgive me). Uhmm... I don't recall ever seeing a Robe in Vipcxjs mod. I have to check. You're right. It's indeed a very nice lingerie set. I stashed it in the Luggage and then forgot about it. -

I feared as much. Now prepare for the unexpected. Send me the stuff by PM or on the board, and I'll see what I can do. I know in advance it will be a suicide, but let's try this. I can use some exercise. It's an Oblivion mesh, right? -

I know it sounds complicated and there are things I may have left out (checking the material properties, for example) but the only way to learn things is through practise. -
Help with real high heels configuration
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. The difference in height is about matching the strength of Phintias' "Levitation Spell". That should explain the oddity. @ varenne I'll try adjusting the .nif to match similar equipment from other mods, see what version of the script they use and attach it to my shoes. -

Just to have an idea of the dimension of the problem, how many different amulet/necklace types are present in the game? Kudos, farlibarcai. You got what you wanted, and I admire your tenacity. -
