I ran Glossmax on my entire meshes folder recently, to uniformate all the meshes to the same value (=100). The head texture requires some finishing touch in GIMP or PS, however, to mitigate the texture seam (I took the time to read Jerbsinator's Tutorial). Moreover, the author of the skinset I'm using was kind enough to include a modders resource to edit the Alpha channel, and accurate instructions about how to recreate the normal map. My question is: do I need to apply the same correction also to age maps? (I have six progressive _n.dds in total, perhaps this is the standard number). By the way, I wonder how the glossy skin would look on elder characters... P.S. Actually I have 12 _n.dds for age maps here (6 for headhumanf.dds, and 6 for headhumanm.dds)

Looks like tbsk is the talk of the week (deserved). The body should be Manga standard or Manga with Wide lowerbody. I'm testing the Perfume Global Dance mod. The menus are obvioulsy cryptic, but I was able to set up a ballet with ease. Still I wonder what "no BGM" means, perhaps "no background music"?

Glossiness and head mesh question
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
No, the body meshes I use don't have any NiAlphaProperty attached, are plain body meshes. P.S. My skinset is a bit old. It's contemporary to Robert's Male v4. Perhaps the texture seam is due to the change I made using Robert v5 head. I could try restoring the head mesh from v4 (I don't think the neck seam geometry changed, though). -
"Is there a mod that...." and Requests Thread

That's right. I have abandoned the vanilla UI for so long, I'm not able to recognize it anymore. There are subtle changes though. @ riceball Perhaps there is a setup for DarNified UI with normal/big fonts? I can't remember. This is a mod you could find useful: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/43676/? Of corse, use the settings for vanilla UI. For the magic menu, if you have many scripted spells (all represented by the "burden" icon, LAPF is full of them) you can use http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/26196 to recognize them more easily. -

DarNified UI: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/10763/? To remove the text timer, go to the last tab in the characters options (in vanilla UI there was the faction list, but here it serves as a 'settings' tab). There are many advantages using this UI interface, I definitely suggest using it (smaller fonts which make for more items displayed on the screen, and longer names). The installation is a bit tricky, but you can safely default through the options (unless you have specific needs). The latest version includes wz_inventory. P.S. There are options to change the alignment and position of the various UI elements, but some reported that the changes made by the user are volatile. Personally I have left them all to the default, so I have not experienced the problem. -

That gives me an idea. May I send you a PM? Discussing it here would be off topic. -

Mesh Rigger (Skyrim, Fallout, Oblivion) Beta.89.f (10-26-2014)

Sorry for intruding DS and gtcard, but... does that mean that you can use Alpha channel to set transparency and glossiness at the same time? How? I'm having problems editing some face textures to show glossiness properly. -
Greetings HS! Have you considered using Blockhead? It could be "invasive" of corse... but not that much, considering it is widely adopted by players and modders (OCO2, Setbody...). The readme contains a few examples if you wish to use Blockhead in OBSE scripts. It's a far better option than treating body meshes as clothing.

Oh... thank you!

I wish I was less distracted.

Have your low-cost phone, and after a while toss it the trash can, bored of the worthless object.

Resourceful as always. Time to learn japanese, I presume.

Dance animations are the same as MMD, and also the soundtrack. I don't have any idea where I can find an Oblivion version though. I wish I had a link to a good dance mod myself, but I found nothing so far (I never searched thoroughly, to be honest). About the final animation I have absolutely no clue. I don't think you're asking for the body meshes and outfits, as those should be a lot easier to find.

Lots of screenshots today

Definitely this is not DM something nor ZKEC. Speedbuster often uses "custom" bodies. This outfit is even distributed with its unique matching hands, go figure... It's not even DMMC, so the tag is actually wrong. Ok, next time I will portrait some brunettes. And get a decent scenario... indoor scenario. -
In my intentions, this is supposed to be a heartfelt tribute to Speedbuster and Umpa. As usual, don't expect much in the way of graphic detail, wonderful ENB presets, new poses et cetera et cetera. Trying to get the most from my old PC, vanilla races and a bunch of outdated mods is my only pride and joy. I hope you like it, nevertheless. Leave a comment and a smile, if you feel I deserve it. Otherwise... move along! (just kidding) While preparing the contents for this page, I was saying to myself: "I should have been a photographer..." Whether I'm right or not, I leave it to your judgement. This time Cornelia is accompanied by CM Julia, a cute Breton mage I recruited in Cheydinhal that reminds me of the top model Laetitia Casta (particularly when using this wig). Together, they improvise a defilée (despite the rain, but who cares... these girls are real professionals) showing a particular set of modern clothing by Speedbuster that I like very much. Models animation by Umpa. Enjoy! Warning: LOTS of pictures! Pictures 1-10:

Granted, but you cannot follow the match because of a sudden black out, and your internet crashed (again). I wish I was a photographer (a bit of self-advertising here eheheh)

New Clothing Body Style Converter Beta v0.89f (10-26-2014)
QuiteTheTail replied to gerra6's topic in Modders Resources
Try installing: - regular (not portable) Python 3.3.5 - PyFFI 2.2.2 Now, download version 0.89f of the tools. Extract in an empty folder. After that: - Drop the content of the archive, including Lib and Scripts subfolders, in the appropriate locations (ex. C:\Python33) - Edit the batch files to match the python executable name and path This is what I have used for quite some time without problems. Let me know if that helps. I have tried updating Python, PyFFI and the tools afterwards, and not always it did go well. Much depends on your OS version, available RAM and other factors. -
Cool! Thumbs up!

P.S. Nice fur! Mink I guess?

Glossiness and head mesh question
QuiteTheTail replied to QuiteTheTail's topic in Oblivion Non Adult Mods
Age maps increase realism but also introduce undesired effects on the skin tone. Mine come from the "Improved Facial Textures" mod, but by default they are located in the bsa archive for textures. In Robert's Male v5 there are two (optional) blank age maps: headhumanf10.dds / headhumanf10_n.dds headhumanm10.dds / headhumanm10_n.dds Installing them, the aging effect is still preserved for most of the elder characters. Creating copies of these files, renaming them as headhuman20f.dds / headhumanm20.dds headhuman30f.dds / headhumanm30.dds (..and so on, up to 60) then running archive invalidation, would "smooth" the skin even for more mature characters (losing realism, of corse). The relationship between age maps and gloss effect is still unclear to me. I suppose that also age maps should be edited to obtain glossy faces for all NPCs, but I might be wrong. I'm starting to suspect that glossiness and vanilla races do not mix too well. Furthermore, despite my efforts, I am unable to reproduce in GIMP the method described in the tutorial (based on Photoshop). Even my (young) character seems unaffected. @ myuhinny Yes, I have set the gloss value of the head mesh to an impossible value - 10000 - in Nifskope. Here are my files, in case some kind soul wants to give it a try: face textures and normal maps.7z age maps.7z P.S. Looks like adding a layer mask is the only way to edit alpha channel in GIMP. -
I have checked, it is present in both mods (in AGS there's a Black Red Katana sold by Diana. The texture is identical, even the runes are the same).

Granted, but you become the favorite target for mosquitos, wasps, honeybees and bumblebees. I wish I had incorruptible wishes. No, seriously... I wish I was better organized.

As far as I know, someone has already taken your request (or perhaps anticipated it LOL).
