I recommend Fallout 3 just for the fact that you haven't played it. Play it first and then play New Vegas. Worth it. But first play Fallout 1&2!   I'm in the minority for my opinion, but I actually think FO3 had a better story. New Vegas's story was cool until you get to the guy who . However that's where NW's DLCs come in. You can pretty much ignore the later half of the main game and go for the DLCs as they are much much more interesting! Early in the main game you get a hint here and hint there about your character's past and the events leading to the main story. DLCs expand that background story in an engaging fashion. While FO3's DLCs are kinda just side stories exploring the surrounding areas of the Capital Wasteland, all NW's DLCs follow that same background story (and have you do this and that while you're at it).   Fallout 3 has a better atmosphere though. It's dark and feels more like a post-apocalyptic game instead of a western (like Dagren already said). Super awesome metro tunnels with ghouls and everything! And those vaults are just... awesome! NW's first DLC Dead Money got that dark, gloomy atmosphere back but it doesn't make up for the rest of the game. Landscape in FO3 felt bigger too. So I recommend Fallout 3 for gameplay, New Vegas (DLCs) for story. Equally good but in different ways.

So is it just me or is falmer enslavement kinda broken? Got enslaved but not one falmer or chaurus wants to rape my Fjola and her master won't even talk to her.

8.1 has some benefits for gaming, but with a great cost. I have 7 on my gaming pc and 8.1 on my casual laptop. 5 minutes on laptop and I'm ready to throw it at the wall, it's really infuriating to use 8, even with a touch screen. So I wouldn't recommend 8 to my worst enemy and I'd personally much rather use Vista, but as others have said already, you MIGHT get used to it.   You could also give Steam OS a try, after all it's free though still in beta. Been meaning to try it myself (installed already but never gotten around to booting into it )

Speaking of RAIDs, does anyone know about Sabertooth 990FX mobo's RAID controller? Just wondering if it's any good with very large drives (3tb mainly) for RAID1. I've only had RAID arrays on smaller drives on dedicated boards (SCSI) before so I don't really know about the onboards' quality...   Oh and if anyone so much as hints about using Windows software RAID, I will strangle him

  You need to open the body meshes in Nifskope, select the body and using ctrl+up arrow to change it's position (number) to 1
