  2. Are you trying to save on esp space for your game or something?

No, but it seems not to be necessary to install anything other than a few files from the XP32 archive. This is what I tried first, and it worked. I wouldn't be surprised if those other mods are only needed for some of the XP32 options.

  3. those requirements are there for a reason, if you start having game issues later you'll want to find out what those reasons are, if you don't have those requirements in now you may need a new game to fix it later

Perhaps you're right, but I'll happily take that change if it means that I don't have to install Realistic Ragdolls and Fores New Idles.

  4. There's some things you can do to try and get Skyrim to run in a playable manner. I myself use some mods to run Skyrim on an Amd 3400 Apu with 6450 graphics card.

    HialgoBoost: http://www.hialgo.com/Downloads.html

    SKSE (Hialgo needs this): http://skse.silverlock.org/

    Reduced vanilla textures: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14504/?#content

Be sure to download the Skyrim version of HialgoBoost, and not the universal one. HialgoBoost also has an .ini file in which you can tweak some settings. A good one is setting the default resolution to 50% to start with. If you're having problems with that, just ask.

Hialgo is great when it works on your system. It removes stuttering and has the option to reduce the 3D rendering resolution.

After installing these, turn down all the game settings as much as possible.

As for script heavy mods, realize that Skyrim has over 10000 scripts already. A few more won't hurt if they're not heavy.

  5. Vertex normals are disabled for both CBBE and UNP (at least within the NIF, the game generates them itself afterwards).

That's strange, because when I import CBBE into 3dsmax, I can see the same kind of flaw I see in the game.

What you're saying does make sense. I tried fixing this, and succeeded in removing the effect. Shows up fine in 3dsmax, but fails in-game.

Would be nice if the game could use the normals from the nifs somehow.

  6. CBBE has normals issues in the body mesh that cause seems (butt lines, etc) when not using high textures. Tried to fix it, but that's not so easy as a noob (I can fix it in 3dsMax with a script I downloaded, but the fix doesn't show up in the game :(). Therefore I use UNP and it's variants, until I can somehow fix it, then I'll just use whatever looks nice in terms of outfits.
