was planning a miyako character pack, but your doing a good job of it, so ill leave it to you

I'm still on 1.02. I moved the DLC numbers around and now it doesn't crash and shows the correct icon, but it loads the wrong costume. I removed the costume (Senran Kagura) but it still stays stuck on loading. I also noticed the icon is using the old Yaiba colour scheme, did you remove the link for the black version? I lost my old files so I need to download it again.

I re-added in the first post, don't know how it got removed. not sure why its loading the wrong costume unless the wrong files were added to the dlc.

the crashing with other dlc is probably due to the costume slot being used by one of the new dlc, so the costume number must be changed.

if the loading is stuck, it might be because of 1.04. heard some mods stopped working in 1.04, and must be repacked with the new dlc tool. but that's just a guess, I'm not on 1.04.

never bothered to post that mod here since it wasn't nude. don't make nude mods so I don't post any of my mods here. I only posted the alpha pack as a joke since its sort of the exact opposite of a nude mod

regardless, that miyako mod will be updated eventually. since I figured out how to get the face to not deform on anyone that's not alpha, I will make it for kokoro which is more appropriate, along with a variety of additional costumes and alternate hair styles for her.

What's the maximum number of hairstyles a character can use?

 

I can't get more than eight to work, and I'm curious if I'm missing something or if that's the hard limit.

I know this site focuses on removing clothing from default clothed characters, so I don't know if a mod that puts clothes on a default nude charcter will be well received here

Instructions

Note - this pack uses up all 20 of alpha's free slots. if you have any other alpha mods, they will not be compatible.

1. add the 420702 folder to your DLC folder

2. add DLC###=420702 line to the ini file (### being the next available number)

3. chose a hair style from the hair files folder, and inject it into hayabusa's face using lnk_reshuffle

4. chose a face with glasses on or off from the face files folder, and inject it into bayman's helmet using lnk_reshuffle

for multiple hair options

doing the steps above, both free slots are used up. if you wish to have more then one hair style at the same time, you will have to choose something to sacrifice in its place. Open the dlc with the dlc tool and add in the new hairstyle(s).

for glasses toggle

doing the steps above, both free slots are used up. if you wish to have glasses to be togglable, you must sacrifice something else to inject the other head in game, and the toggle can only be done with hair selection, not the glasses selection. Open the dlc with the dlc tool and add in the new face

1. first number is the universal number. characters can only go to a higher number, not a lower number.

2. next is character name. beside character name is their own personal hair number with description.

3. to use a swap hair style or face, look for the universal number of the hair you want, then subtract that number by the base character's universal (bald) number for hair and universal (empty) for face.

example - I want to give Hitomi Momiji's (default) hair.

To do so, I look for momiji's (default) universal number which is 103.

I then subtract that number by Hitomi's universal (bald) number which is 81.

103 - 81 = 22

So typing 22 for hitomi's hair will give her Momiji's (default) hair.

The same is for faces, just subtract by the characters universal (empty) number instead of (bald).

4. since faces come after hair, faces will show up after the hair list is done. If you want to use a face slot as a hair (hayabusa face is a free slot, which is good to inject a custom hair into) you can do so by using this formula

(131 - universal character (bald) number) + universal face number you want

example - i want to use that free hayabusa slot for hitomi

universal number for hitomi (bald) is 81 and universal number for hayabusa's face is 10, so

(131 -81) +10 = 60

So typing 60 on Hitomi's hair will give her hayabusa's face slot.

if your still using old 1.02, use 128 instead of 131

Hi Guy. I'll share DLC TOOL to MOd ALpha 152

I thought the idea of alpha152's school uniform being made of jello too was dumb, so I wanted to make only her skin jello and the clothes normal with the new dlc tool, but shes missing hair and skin transparency also giving her underwear options makes the game crash

I then figured out it was the --C file that contains what I need, but it applies it to everything making what I wanted to do pointless...

also using the --C of alpha to get that look crashes the game when match starts just like trying to give her hair swaps

Do you know a way to applies it to skin and hair only, or prevent the crashing when applying transparency to the entire body?

 

I noticed that doa5 ultimate dlc are missing the new last round hairstyles. I began adding them back in with the dlc tool, and noticed some characters can swap hair, some good some bad.

 

I made a list for the entire female cast of what hairs they get with hair numbers.

 

I did not include hairs that appear to be duplicates, or hat hair styles that appear with no hat or bald heads

btw, that hair list I made is out of date, I thought only 0-9 worked at that time. the one in my tutorial is more up to date, but still incomplete, so characters that are incomplete, if you want to do your own testing, any of these hair numbers will change something whether it be good or bad

Thanks, managed to finish removing the wings on every costume

 

because of limited slots, all recolours, gym and first Christmas were removed, but i added all 23 costume raw files so people may choose the ones they want.

for some reason, hair number 4 on both her swimwear and her nurse costume don't work, but they instead have a different hair style with number 6, which doesn't work on her other costumes.

I think it's rather future-proof, so they don't need to release title updates (with additional names) for every new DLC. Also, with release of LR, DLCs names very likely to be changed.
