It's a great body with nice boobs (not too crazy giant like some hentai stuff around here, I do find these so ridiculous but that's my opinion ^^), nice legs and great butt.

I'm looking for a real high quality skin textures, like this one : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36425/?

However I don't really like the face textures as it doesn't have any makeup on it, my character ends up looking... bleh. Not as good as before, even with a few RaceMenu makeup overlays.

Anyone got another good and similar option with makeup for me? I'd be grateful !

I'm in need of some help here, I was trying to get a new and clean modded Skyrim file. Everything went good, I could make a new game without scripts bugs and stuff.

No problems until I noticed something : missing hands textures.

So the first I did was getting in the meshes files, and setting the correct paths for the femalehands_1.dds textures. I did that, then saved for both hands meshes files. It was supposed to work.

In game, I still had the same issue, but I've come across something even "weirder" : female NPCs got textures on their hands while my character don't.

And no, before you ask I'm not using a custom race, it's all vanilla races.

it's not really a time issue, but rather modders willing to work on it. And with Fallout 4 coming soon I don't really bet on it ^^

Moonshadow elves race imported from Oblivion to NV. You can find it on the nexus.

The outfit is Gloria's outfit from DMC4. No doubt imported from Oblivion too, but I don't know where to find it for NV.

 

Races made from scratch atm are quite old, and with NV engine is doesn't help much.

I found the best quality stuff you'll find are ripped characters from other games imported to Vegas.

 

I found some pretty decent stuff in DeviantArt from some users.

Not sure where exactly you found those race mods on deviantart. Most of the stuff there is private (showcase, no download link).

And I suppose that you are using the Mass Effect Jack mod in your screenshots? From what I can recall is that the mod gave me a ctd when selecting the Jack Race in the race menu + the Custom Jack race (the one with hair) had a bug with the right hand (violet texture).

 

ME Jack Race does give a ctd indeed, but in the readme you just need a export the hair meshes file or something from the .bsa so it won't ctd. I didn't bother as I wanted to use the custom one and add my favorite hair. I just had to edit the hair position or I'd get clipping shit, but it worked out well for me.

When I tested it at first, I didn't have violet hands, I think there's also a fix in the readme if you ever get that issue. Didn't have it, but I switched body and body textures anyway.

Also while it's true in DeviantArt most of cool stuff are just for show, some users do give a mediafire link to get their nice work ^^ I admit it took me a while for Jack. Never liked Miranda anyway..

good mod, only downside imo is the fact that compared to a male playthrough where it's more about seduction and stuff, for females it's either rape or prostitution in most cases... ^^'

I haven't been playing NV since Skyrim got released. I used to have quite a lot of mods.

Now, I'd like to play this game again, unfortunatly I can't stand the old graphics from this game (yet I can play old games like Thief 1 or 2).

I tried to get back some of the old mods I had and stuff but it didn't worked out that well. One of them that had me into many troubles was the NMC textures mod, with missing textures and graphic bugs. (worst thing is, it's really easy to install yet each time I get a problem with it even with less than 5 mods running).

I just want to know if you guys could help me to find quality mods.

I just want 2 things :

- Better looking characters (they really look like shit.. especially the weird skin textures with green stuff) I tried Moonshadow elves and FCO but it's all the same : characters are still ugly XD

- Curvy body mod without too skimpy armor replacers (thinking of the BnB body), for reference I used the SevenBase body in Skyrim.

Permissions hassles, I would assume.

This, you can take some time to select the best mods that fit your interest and save them like I do though. It'll save you some time later !

Honestly? I think this thread is a good idea. (If people would just stop bitching about it and, you know, contribute.)

 

I avoid the other preset topics because there is almost nothing in there that doesn't make me roll my eyes. I enjoy 'realistic'-looking female characters. Anime style, insanely large boobs and weird glittery skin is something I find boring and unappealing. (I basically get hives whenever someone posts a pic of their Skyrim character and the chick has glasses or porn star hair. HIVES, I tell you. )

If others like it that way, well, more power to them, but having a thread dedicated to a more...subtle kind of beauty, I guess, would be nice.

Totally agree, instead of having people posting lame gifs/memes and moving on to another thread they just come here and cry about a freaking thread. Seriously I feel like watching kids fighting when I read this thread. If you're not happy just get out, don't start a flame war ffs.

Honestly I feel sad because a few days ago someone came out of nowhere and helped me to convert a model to be playable on Skyrim, without asking anything in return, now what I see is another side : people spitting at each other for the most stupid reasons. You guys are so sensitive I wonder if someone can even make a joke about you.
