  1. Preview Momo V.01

30 hours later, got nearly everything done... but the head... which absolutely refuses to be a standalone part... I am filled with a vitriol infusion of hate for this project.
  2. Preview Momo V.01

After much rage and anger over fighting the default head overriding the custom one, I finally hit a breakthrough thanks to a helping hand point me in the right direction... Slowly my first custom standalone follower is coming together... Here's a preview. Hopefully when I get to the part of adding a custom skin the neck seam will be a memory... Fingers crossed.
  3. The goblin jumps into the modding pool.

When I'm done with a couple projects... I'm looking at giving Slave Town 0.1.2 a facelift.
  4. Oh by the divines! Are you actually reading this?   Seriously?!?   Okay, Ahem... Well then. Where do we start... Well long ago when a pint sized terror was cracking open 8-bit games on an old 286?   Naah... Lets get more recent.   And recently I'm over-fucking-whelmed. Perhaps it was from exuberance. But I'm making headway into actually modding stuff... like for real. Delzaron who has wrote 'From the Deeps' and 'A Forsworn Story' was kind enough to unwittingly give me permission to dive into his work, 'Ravenous' and go bugnuts crazy fixing things here and there. I did warn him, I have no idea what I'm doing. But after about 20 hours of fustration I sent back workable dialogue edits. Honestly yeah, I should have read up on tutorials or watched YouTube all day long. But since I was a wee squirt, Iv'e always learned by getting grease and dirt all over myself making a mess then putting it back together.   And HO HO HO what a mess!   I find myself, caught up in 2 more dialogue projects that may or may not pan out. A hodge-podge webwork of followers to brew up... and an abandoned mod is calling to me to break it into little pieces and put it back together. Honestly, I'm really weary of that last idea. Even though the original author hasn't updated the mod in nearly a year and his account has long been abandoned to Guest status. I don't feel it's right for a noobzilla for me to swoop in and take it over... Despite being a really good mod with alot in the way of potential.   So yeah, I may not be a modder, just yet. And I won't say I'm one until I actually build something in Skyrim or FO4 by myself. But consider this message... if you actually read this far... my official entry into the modding circut. Oh and if your curious... FOREVER FREE!!!   In that I want to thank the following people who helped inspire me to step up my game and hammer out stuff...   Delzaron: For letting me edit his work, knowing I'm a clueless noob. (And even adding me to the credits for Ravenous!)   CPU: For giving me a chance at creative writing, hints on using the CK, and a detailed guide to creating custom followers.   Ashal: (Duh) For this site, and attracting a mature community with mature content!   Crysumpom: For being my first tag team partner!   DocClox and Swiftstep: For actually answering my questions... with style! Helpful and straight to the point. Not used to that.   Hopefully someone will tell me if it's cool to adopt an abandoned mod. Because I'm sorely tempted. Until then I have a battery of ULTRA-CUTE companions and milk-slaves to put together and toss to the community, and some behind the scenes creative writing for a couple folks and just in case Del gets a bug up his butt... Still on retainer for helping translate if he asks.   Not bad for a clueless twit with 20 hours of mashing buttons in the creation kit... I think I need to slow down.   Til later my fellow goblins and goblinettes. GAME ON!
  5.   You can also stuff it into your game with the NMM. Remember to run LOOT and FNIS, then enjoy.
  6. Preview Momo V.01

V.02 (V.01 had major issues...) NECK SEAM GONE!
  7. Preview Momo V.01

Got the new face today, bolted it on. Moved on to adding deep purple eyes. I *think* I got the custom Shoujo skin glued on too... Then the whole thing blew up. The head is weight 50 like it's supposed to be, but when I added the skin, the body itself without my permission defaulted to weight 100. If this is a typical modding experience, no wonder so many modders seem stressed out
  8. Preview Momo V.01

Agreed. Crysompom sent me some new face files while I was away at work. Going to jump in the CK swimming pool soon and start trying to fix it.
  9. Preview Momo V.01

Crysumpom used Racemenu to make the face. What you see for the body (skin / texture) and face geometry is all her work. I'm just putting the puzzle parts together.
  10. Banners

The black one is bold. The Yellow symbol just pops out and catches attention. Very nice.
  11. Custom follower / Default head.

The head reverts back to default after I make changes, I.E. adding custom hair... However I can now force the face back to what is proper with NifMerge. Hopefully the final product will have the right face: Fingers crossed! Thanks again!
  12. I'm frothing at the mouth at wits end...   So I'm humbly begging LL to lend a hand...   Slowly building the stuff for my first custom follower, with various tutorials open, yet I hit a snag that has stopped me cold. That is I jump into skyrim, Make a pretty face to test with, (Using Racemenu 3.2.2) followed by: spf testname, fire up the CK and attempt to import the testname.npc file. Only to get a default Nord head every time. Yes I tried google, and that was woefully unhelpful, as was YouTube and the tutorials I'm using. I'm stumped...   Help me LL-Kenobi, Your my only hope!
  13. What's Your Dream Mod? (Free for all)

I want an endgame mod... Dovakiin, or whomever has done it all. So you travel to a one-way "hero's rest" A simple enough crypt location out in the most unused section of the map. Once you enter, there's no way out. Only to walk forward with hauntingly beautiful music by Maleukah singing Skyrim covers. As you walk forward you see on either side the people who were there on your adventures. Looking left and right as you walk along are people you have loved like Ysolda and Lydia, People who have led you down dark paths like Astrid and Brynjolf...   As you pass each person on the pathway which has walls decorated with unique and rare trophies you most likely have collected, they simply kneel. You pass your housecarls and with a short salute they kneel, you pass guild members who also salute then kneel, everyone who has been memorable or important kneels in honor of you, and the adventures you have undertaken.   Everyone from peasants to Jarls, Daedra to dragons all while a somber music plays, a last farewell to the Dova... you.   The last chamber has the four most important dragons, the first you killed, alduin, Parthurnaax, and even a visitor from the soul cairn, await for the dova to take the final throne. The room itself filled with the rarest treasures and chests filled with gems and gold.   And lastly the heros rest. You sit on the throne and watch as the Dovakiin turns to stone and in draconic script, words appear on the screen. Always remember your time in skyrim with the fondest of memories.   Screen fades to black. (lay on floor, try not to cry.)
  14. The goblin jumps into the modding pool.

Update, Thanks to Oil3d... after 12 hours of a near murderous rage, I got that little protip that saves lives. Onward to working on my ultra adorable standalone follower!
  15. Custom follower / Default head.

I think that's the missing piece of the puzzle! Thanks mate! I don't know why the crash kit still shows a default head, but after checking in nifskope everything looked right. Popped into the world and the adorable head was right where it should be.   You sir, have just prevented a homicidal rampage.
  16. Probably the wrong place to ask, but it's an adult mod so I'm poking my nose in the adult mod section for this question. An abandoned mod has been laying around collecting dust for about 10 months and I want to jump in with a pair of paddles and jump start it back to life. Here's the details...   According to the header of the mod itself;   File Name: [Abandoned]Slave Town - A Player Slavery Mod File Submitter: IAmTheOneWhoKnocks File Submitted: 19 Apr 2014   Notes: The author, IAmTheOneWhoKnocks - has an inactive/deleted account, his name is listed on the support forum but not on the information pages. First uploaded to LL in April, and last updated in October 2014. So it hasn't been touched in 10 months. The file name itself includes [Abandoned].   My scope and purpose would be to grab the .ESP and begin tooling around and improving it as I go. Also to use it as a learning tool. (Reading about electrical repairs teaches me little, ripping out the wires to see where the yellow one goes and where the red one connects teaches me much.)   For now, I am a super-noob, cape and all. Comfortable in editing dialogue and just now experimenting with building custom NPCs. So I can not even attempt to do a big glossy overhaul. And after my first test run, it could use a facelift, but not an overhaul.   Likewise my toolbox is rather limited right now as I get fluent with the crash creation kit.   So what my inquiry boils down to is A: Is it okay to adopt this mod, tinker around with it, and re-release it?   (Like I said I'm Noobzilla to both modding and the intricate customs of the LL community. and Id'e rather keep my stinky feet out of my mouth.)
  17. From the deeps (redone)

    All good mate.
  18. From the deeps (redone)

Hey, just poking in for a second. Delzaron you want me to try to touch up the Dialogue later or sit this one out?
  19. my gif animations

Ditto. Thought it was my craptastic internet connection.
  20. Inquiry: Mod Adoption Etiquette

Thank you both for your input. I will take your advice to heart while I decide my next course of action.
  21. The Banning Game - II

HAH. Banned for being banned and, the next person can't ban me! I just banned myself!
  22. my gif animations

Whoa! I'm not accusing you of anything, just wanted to pop in and pat ye on the back! It's awesome to see more than one person releasing quality animations. (Of this sort of thing... Like Liara having fun time, Or Dovakiin uuuh Dragon...moaning...)
  23. My pathetic attempt to make a mod

Hey as a new wannabe modder myself. Hang in there, it's daunting yeah. Anything worth doing is often not easy matey! Cheers to you!   Edit: I'm the wannabe here You've got your modder merit badge as far as I'm concerned
  24. my gif animations

I can not place where exactly. A site with a name like EB4 or somesuch. (Too busy with an epic battle fighting the creation kit atm to reddit) But there is a guy who has a metric ton of very similar gif animations. I'm not saying your poaching, just saying wow! Good to know he's not the only one making fun animations.
  25. Need of Small mods

You may already have it. But I find Ultra-realistic bow sounds to be somewhat a requirement for me now. As someone who dabbled in archery it's top notch! Player size adjuster is handy if you want to interact with bondage devices, so you can be really short or a giant but manually fit yourself to pillories with a few clicks. Also Violens has a special place in my magic bag...   And for a hidden gem I found a follower here on LL: Anumeha by MergatroidSkittle. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/1779-anumeha/ She's cute (Duh) but has an added feature of being both a gorgeous gal and a magical bow. IMHO Snazzy!   Just a few shinies I found.
