You can marry her (Sylgja), and if you do a side quest, her mother can be asked to be a follower... BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!! Her mother also, can be you homes steward. Her father... only says one or two things and carries on like pff whatever.   Her father is not concerned, that some stranger shacks up with his daughter, but also runs away to adventure with his wife?!?   Oh Sheogorath be praised!  

Let me toss in my 3 cents. (Used to be 2 cents, but inflation.)   This is CPUs mod. But I'm whipping something up to add onto CSB (Oh CPU your gunna love it... maybe...  I'll send you a wall of text later.)   There is one gal with purple hair, if it's the gal with that I'm thinking of who lurks at the bar... That's normal, that's her hair. (If it was purple with no texture at all, don't know) The gal with purple hair I'm thinking of also has a red stripe on her head... one of those things... that girls put in their hair... the name... evades me... yah.   Forced walking, yeah, but the pool was my bane... I had few pathing issues elsewhere but the pool was by far the worst. Just standing there waiting for 5+ minutes then if the NPC got in the pool by the time the sex script was halfway through, the next client shows up. NPC's not leaving after railing the new worker, Ditto, had the same issue... eventually CTD cleared everything right up to desktop.   Anyway, my project hopefully won't interfere with whats already built. CPU has a patch on the downloader, and last I looked he's been bugfixing when time allows.

"An we're still recruiting by the way, for any battle stations."   Unfortunately at this time, I have enough modding expirence, to break things... As much as I would like to dive into a project, id'e just be a cheerleader at this point. As is CPU has me on retainer at the moment drumming up stuff in a creative consultant/writer manner, and I volunteered to edit Ravenous to be more reader friendly.  

Now this mod piques my interest. I know a young gal at the mines just south of Riften who could use your magic mod wand. Putting this one on my watch list.  

One of these days... I need to learn how to mod... Just to make a Coulrophilia mod. BWAHAHAHAHA Clowns! Clowns! Wait...you left a link...must look.   A little while later: coooool.

  Time to PLAY skyrim. I miss those days Rewarding followers, like as in sex or a really cool hat?

Weird I figured once the thieves guild and Dark brotherhood quests got knocked out Maven Blackbriar would ease off... I thought for sure she would make the list.  

  I hear ya there Rom. Woefully some mods just don't work when the game has already got some time played. Many require a fresh new face. (an issue I encountered many times while mixing and matching my mods until I got the Gamebryo framerate bug.)   Thankfully, sorta, Racemenu has a somewhat solution. My Test Dova V-3.0 or 3.5 by now has had the same face. Visit the face sculptor in Riften. Make your face just how you like it and save as a preset. With the right cheats, you can pretty much remake your cutie.       Note: mods did NOT give my Skyrim the bug... The games core engine has herpes... outbreaks for any gamer are random.

  Hrm, let me drag myself away from the CK a moment... This may be redundant questioning. I'm assuming yo DL'ed all of the dependancies required by CSB while trying to get it to work. So I must ask if you merged both halves of the zip files? Also have you tried with a fresh game?  

  @ Rom. Iv'e been testing a few things as a side project with CSB. I'm running the latest version of FNIS, SKSE, and SkyUI. I'm guessing you are too. I can get in the building no problem. Normally I run loot first, followed by FNIS. As far as the mod being stopped in MCM, I can definatively answer that, The mod itself automatically switches on once you get in the building. So until you enter the building it will be hibernating.  

In a world, where a mighty hero can set people on fire just by yelling at them. A religious cult murders innocent people because one person just happens to "listen" to a corpse. A world where all the residents know everything about you, yet are unable to tell you anything meaningful about themselves. Oh and crossing the border "illegally" is punishable by death but mass murder is just a couple thousand septim fine...   Okay I'm late to the party about necro Bj's being impossible... But hey Necro throat fuck... I cant beat that... I second a vote for the name.

Thank you Crysumpom. I'll Give the new anime shoujo body a test run in game. (I did notice a slight abnormality with Pinup Plum.) HDT is brutal on my rig, but good work like yours makes it worthwhile.

  On this note, And Iv'e read up there are people working on FTD and AFS... Iv'e been in contact with our awesome mod author Delzaron, and he has graciously given me permission to crack open Ravenous for text cleaning. I started today on release .8 (The latest version). Mind you I have little to no skill with the CK but I have so far re-edited nearly all the text (While trying to stay true to what is already written) for Carnificina, and most of Othors dialogue. A few touch-ups on quests here and there.   When I'm done with editing and proof-reading I'll ship the finished product back to Del for him to look over and approve or toss out. This is my first attempt at anything related to modding, so yeah, trying to get it as right as possible on the first run. No pressure.   To Mr.Friendly: Voice acting would be splendid. Like I said Ravenous is getting a text facelift. After long talks with 2 other expirenced modders, all the text "Can" be ripped out. But as far as they tell me it's a nightmare to attempt to shove it all back in. Best I could do at this time is pull it up line by line and slap it on a .txt or .odf format. After that my modding knowledge runs low on gas. (Gotta start somewhere eh.)   As far as changes I have made to the text thus far. Carni: Should sound more intelligent. After all every time the Dova speaks to her she "has a plan". Honestly it's kinda bold... So I'm altering her text during cleanup to read the same but with some bigger more eloquent words thrown in. Also a bit more psychotic and dismissive of dinner... in a Hannibal Lechter sort of way. Othor: Cleaned to be a bit more lore friendly, still a coward. Simza: Cleaned up some of her text... Still making it sound like she really likes her new job... Beyond that just fighting CK and hammering out words.   I'm doing all this while attempting to stay as true as possible to Delzarons original text and overall vision of his work. Either way, he's been more than accomodating with me, and is fully aware I'm doing the re-edit of his work for public release pending his seal of approval.

I tried to resist, I really did... Just installed and ready to rock Skyrim with Barbarianna! I feel so dirty.

Long ago, before the nexus became a large dust covered pillar of modding. They allowed for unusual content. Some of it could be construed as "questionable" as my Oblivion mod folder would suggest with acts that consent wasn't really a part of... losing in the arena could have other outcomes than reloading... And Estrus was well Estrus... I had the luck to grab a few mods then that are not allowed now.   I surmise part of it is publicity... When I first modded oblivion, a google search for mods at the time, you had to scroll down. Now they are always at the top. And with publicity comes scrutiny... to keep their site open certain advertisers may not deal with them over questionable content and such... So the sexual content slowly got scaled back to be a more publicly cleaned up as part of a (I dare say) mature modding culture. Much has changed on the nexus and despite hiccups here and there, they still attract very talented modders.   LL now has filled that void for adult content with talented modders here too. My 2 cents in the end, LL has great modders, nexus has great modders and I bounce between both with reckless abandon like a kid in a candy store because the community overall is both creative and happy to let me enjoy their creations. GAME ON!

Again?!? But... but... but... I'm still using Pinup Plum! So many great skins... only one Dovakiin... Thumbs up though!

Actually just sent a PM to him about 5 minutes ago, requesting permission to edit. It would be rude just to barge in and put my fingerprints all over his work otherwise.   Writing is what I do mate. (Currently I'm running 5 people through a RPG with massive storylines interwoven all over, and I have some writings already on Writing.com if you want to take a look at the kind of stuff I dabble in.) That said, feel free to PM me your writing needs and give me a bit of time to put some thought into dialogue and I'm willing to help.   P.S. English is my native language, but some days I just grunt like a caveman.

Over the past couple weeks while lurking here and there and testing a few mods I've noticed a few mods have a glaring problem.   That is to say translation errors. I understand most languages have a different syntax to English (as well English can be a difficult language.) I for one don't have a clue how to use the creation kit and it hurts my brain more than when I taught myself HTML. But I'm a wiz with words. I am very much willing to spend some time for our non-english speaking modders to rewrite in-game dialogue that is in need of some shine.   Question is, how hard is this to do? Can a modder simply rip out dialogue from a mod, slap it into a notepad .txt document and send it to someone like myself for a rewrite tune up? If so, then I am available to help. Or would I need to DL the mod and do any changes inside the creation kit itself?   Thanks for reading, any advice or suggestions are welcomed.

Iv'e been locked in epic battle for 2 weeks now tearing into my folders like a rabid chimp fixing it. Iv'e got Skyrim back to almost playable. (The x64 bug has more "cures" than the common cold.)

  Exactly what I had envisioned. If/when a modder punches my arm for some help in this matter, I figured in smaller chunks, such as Common dialogue NPCs would say throughout the mod. Then another chunk would be quest specific such as Main-quest dialogue, then onto side quest. Your example alone shows me that i'm not a complete doof lol.   I know with many modders there's often a tone/narrative they want to set. One mod I'm looking to get my hands dirty in is "Ravenous" by Delzarion. His native language is not english. (French if my sleepy brain remembers right.) The mod has lines in it such as... "I am living this hell." or "I take bit of you while sleep." Which make some sense to me. (Iv'e seen far worse in 20 years or RPing at the table.) I already see the tone he wants to set with the NPCs and the overall mood of the mod.   If there isn't a reliable method for him to pull up the dialogue and reinsert it after cleaning. I may need to crack it with the CK and get up to my elbows in code, then move on to assisting him like your writers assist you. And lend my pen hand from the ground up.  

  I attempted to edit a mod a little for practice, the copy/paste method has proven a nightmare. So far the CK only allows me to type it in manually. So I have to have a separate window open with any text to be inserted. Based on the replies of 2 expirenced modders, it only reinforces my suspicion there isn't really a simplified drag and drop option. (And if there is anything close, it works one-way, making more work for the other side.)   It would seem the best options would be either to be in contact with the modder during dialogue scripting and do the re-write in small chunks, or manually download the mod and edit the text from within the CK.
