If you sit back from your computer a bit and then cross your eyes so your right eye is looking at the left image, and your left eye is looking at the right image, you wind up with a 3D image in the middle and partial images to the right and left of it. No special glasses and no expensive TV required. Also works with stereoscopic movies so you can check youtube for steroscopic videos (Like games played on the Oculus Rift) and get the same 3D effect. I've used it to watch Avatar in 3D, and How to Train your Dragon 2 in 3D, plus who knows how many youtube videos. The trick is being able to focus your eyes while they're crossed.
Hope it helps
