You can create or add or modify.

If it goes to the "last post" then you are NOT editing the correct post.

I gave a look to your blog. It is really basic code, so copy/paste and re-upload images will be the best approach.

I copied the post from new site into the new post on the old site. But there is a time barrier for making the new post in the same thread.

Anyhow, I willl do it but it's a veeery slow process.

List the threads you wish to convert.

I will grab them from the new site, convert, and then send you the "bare BBCode", you will have just to paste it in a new thread on the old site.

Thank you my friend. I only need two of them: My blog: "It's all about sex" and the "Who's avatar you'd love to have sex or not to have sex?" thread.

NMM thread is copied and all is fine.

You can probably make new ones with the same name then just copy and paste the words in your blogs to the new site just don't paste them straight into your box first copy the words then paste them into notebook then copy and cut everything back out then you can paste it into your new one on the other site. You do this to get rid of that nasty white block you get when copy and pasting things. Pictures if you still have them you can just add them to the new one. I believe Ashal said that they will leave it where people change change things they just won't be able to make any new threads. Any replies will be lost though.

Thank you. I tried copy and paste system and it works, but it always place the text into the last post I made. I don't know how much time must pass before new post will be available in the same thread.

    I can offer help.

But it requires a Skype session. (I cannot access to your posts in edit mode, only you or a Moderator can.)

I don't have skype, nor web camera and microphone, but thanks for trying to help. Akzyra converted my NMM thread and posted me the file that I just copied to my old NMM thread. He said it's simple, but I'm dumb as a duck and don't know how to do it. :(

Nope. The posts we did on this site will not be move to the "old" one.

Is for this reason that the "new" site will be in "Read Only mode" (so you can copy what you posted), and the new one is already active.

You already open a new post of "Communicate with emoticons" on the "old" site, and let the same one on the "new" to die.

For your important posts, it is better if you copy them as soon as possible on the old site (www2.loverslab.com)

Thank yu very much for this info. I have some threads to copy too. I better hurry now. Thanks again.

That is exactly what Ashal is going to do.

No more changes to the new site.

And reverting to the old site in a short while. And the "old" site will stay as long as possible.

CPU - will our present posts will be transferred to old site as well. I red ashal's first post but not sure I understand it all right

yes, but if i wanted MO like functions then i would have gone with MO but as Skyrim has always crashed when i try to use MO and since NMM is going in the same direction as MO i will not be using it (not knocking the hard work you are doing, i just HATE MO). and as i have 253 mod packages installed thru WB  it to many mods to move to NMM, last time i did a clean install it took me almost a week to re-install everything and get it just right.

i tried to use MO for newvegas but all i got was a blank screen and had to crt-alt-del out and i had only installed 10 mods MO has the same functionality as WB when it comes to priority i do know how to move mods around for overrides and the like.

I can understand your reasons and frustrations my friend. I don't know what to say. As you could noticed from one of my posts, I uninstall and reinstall all my mods with every new NMM version, just to test how it behaves. Haven't had any problems. But, on the other hand, I have double less mods then you have, so I can imagine how frustrating it may be to make your game work as you want with 250+ mods.

use MO it's harder to learn at beginning but very safe, specially if you tend to test a lot of different mods

with NMM I destroyed every save game I had !!!

since I use MO I never needed to install Skyrim new, with NMM I had to install Skyrim several times again

    I had opposite experience ... lol .... :)

So, i guess it's not the either manager's fault but ours. WE didn't know how to use them. :)

I believe so, I'm basically just going to disable the posting permission on all the user groups. So you should still be able to edit posts, just not make new ones.

Ashal - since i updated my NMM support thread with many new topics how can I add them to the old site? Will copy and Paste work?

After struggling with it for the past month and no clear line to everything being fully ready, I'm left with two options. 1) Continue as things are now with some features broken and poor site stability until maybe it eventually works out. 2) Revert the site back to before the forum upgrades when everything was stable and functional. Given those choices, if option 1 doesn't work out it could eventually mean the death of the site, and while option 2 isn't very ideal either, the more time that passes the less feasible it becomes.

So I've decided to go ahead and revert the site back to pre-upgrade. This means ALL posts, topics, new registration, uploads, or anything else that has happened on the site since November 2nd will no longer exist and have to be redone. To lessen this blow, I plan to transition the site back to the reverted version overtime.

For the next 48 hours, this current forum will remain the site you see when you go to the normal URL. The reverted version of the site is already up and accessible as of this post at http://www2.loverslab.com If you have content you want to move over, you can do so now and users in general are recommended to use that version of the site over this one right away.

After 48 hours or so have passed, the www2 version of the site will switch so that the old forums become the primary forums once again, and these forums will be put into a read-only state on a different URL so people can continue to get anything off it that they need and didn't get a chance to copy over before the switch.

I know this isn't ideal, is a huge pain, will upset various users and all I can really do is say "I know, sorry." For my own sanity and for what I believe the better option, this is the route that I think best ensures the future health and stability of LoversLab overall. Things will rebound with time, the site has been around for years and hopefully many more.

Do as you think is the best. Support every your decision except for shotting this forum down :)

Thank you everyone for the answers! I'm yet to begin but i think all these tutorials will be enough, expecially the STEP one and the other on the nexus http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56894/?, looks really really detailed. It seems that rumors regarding an imminent good version of nnm that i read 6 months ago weren't true after all.

Well I'm using NMM 0.61.2 and I'm quite satisfied. My point here is that MO is better then NMM but it's not perfect either. It has it's "moments" too. Some people (like me) found that using MO is more difficult then NMM. So, I'm not cheering for any of them but saying use the one you're more comfortable with. I have MO too but rather using NMM since I understand how it works much better then MO. Whatever your choice will be, you won't make mistake as sure you learn how they work and you are'nt frustrated with any of them. :)
