Fresh clean updated install for the win. You shouldn't have to reinstall any mods every again. Just click and unclick active or not and move the files up and down to solve conflicts. Now for my tech issue. For some strange reason FNIS is throwing up a invalid directory error. I have installed it several ways ( the various ways needed) and I had it properly installed before when I was experimenting with MO before moving completely over to MO for Skyrim. I just can't figure it out. I even moved MO back to the Skyrim Directory ( where the exe is) to see if it was that. It had been on a root of the drive outside of the game folder. I even reinstalled Steam to the location of choice to see if that was the issue ( some registry issue where FNIS is seeing some issue) I am sure it is something simple. Yes the paths are correct and functional. I get it to start. Even tried with Administrator mod with FNIS.. I have now moved to doing crazy exotic things to try to figure out the issue.

Could be a new security feature for newer members. In time that will drop off if this is the case and you will be able to properly show any links and such.

Ray blue. Did you try installing them into a custom folder in MO? LIke when you install the first one in the required list ( of course have to install them in proper order so that they can see and overwrite and change files as needed) Except with the name change it to one like " HUDMOD" and then install all the subsequent mods into that folder by changing the mod and allowingit to overwrite the previous mod entries .. much like it would in FOMM/ Just an idea I have been kicking around for some minor fixes. The FOMM issue where some mods have to be installed into the folder through FOMM is script issues and NMM isn't able to handle those mods properly. They are rare but a pain in the ass when you find them. Others silently fail. Are you using FOMM through MO? Then packing up the resulting files into a mod. Also if HUD gives you problems with installing this is the way to do it. Use FOMM through MO. Install all the mods. They should appear in the Overwrite folder. When finished packaged them up into a HUD mod and done. Can do the same with other FOMM related mods. I believe the Official FOMM is the best for this purpose. The only problem is at the end FOMM has a hissy fit because it don't see the mods anymore.

Only thing is while there I didn't spend very much time with my cousins... They were just too hard to get ahold of..

40 hours... that isn't play time. That is play time. This is also only the time that Steam recognized and not taking into account the time on xbox before I moved to PC...However that time was using NMM or FOMM not MO.

Sexout Common Resources (SCR) Stable Version
ritualclarity replied to Halstrom's topic in Downloads - Fallout Sexout
in relations to the NMM the SCR Resources folder should install just fine if you zip it up using 7 zip or even a simple compressed folder. this don't have any scripts. This isnt' reflecting the issues that can happen with scripted mods like Sexout and SCR. Now if you do want manual. My suggestion is to create BSA's out of all the files extracted from the required mods you will be using. Open a folder. Drop the Texture, Mesh and Sound files into them. Use FOMM BSA creator or some other valid BSA creator compatible with FNV and create a BSA Name it SexoutCommonResources - NameofMod Where the "NameofMod" is the name you have decided to call this BSA you created. Now when you need to install or uninstall the files you can just drag/drop or delete. No need to chase down individual files.. Downside. Anything installed from mods that are " loose" that is not in a BSA, the BSA files will be overwritten by the loose files. -
Sexout Common Resources (SCR) Stable Version
ritualclarity replied to Halstrom's topic in Downloads - Fallout Sexout
Step 2 is the basic pre-requirements and Step 3 is the complete. At the time of the previous versions there were much debate on what was needed where. ( at least in my alien mind) so they were all lumped together. The goal was go give individuals that are new to Sexout and needed the resources of SCR what they would need and not worry about missing something later when they loaded another mod that required something. Halstrom is correct. Load what you need. If you need to ask what resources are used from SCR. The mods are separate downloads and many of the mod authors will know what they are accessing and can give you those requirements. Why they aren't posted on their page.? Simple. Because it is expected that you will have all the resources installed so that they can build their mods the way they want without having to come back and do basic house keeping and update the mod's download thread with the new items added. What will happen if you dont' have anything in Step 3: or misisng things? Simple. No damage. You will get a floating head or an annoying red Triangle with an exclamation mark. That is all. When that happens just find out the armor or other resource and download that. Added note.. and the original reason for me coming here .. Since Halstrom is so busy and many times misses the PMs . that are sent.. I wanted to inform him and the rest of those using SCR that there is a new edited version up on the SCR Resources posts. The basic is installed in the forum .. Basic outline with steps and general description. The advanced more detailed version is in PDF form with some pictures to help the process for those that aren't sure or need more guidance. Now for what you desire. It is experimental but I am following Halstroms thread for SCR requirements: I have seperated the various requirements in Step 3 into two parts. A basic part with requirements that most mods should use and need and those that required all the other parts such as pregnancy and SexoutStore. In your case this might be what you are looking for. In my opinion and general experience if a mod requires SexoutStore or Pregnancy you need everything if not you should be good to go with just the Basic install. @Halstrom. Look it over and see what you think. If there is any requirements that pop up from mods that don't require SexoutStore or Pregnancy let me know and I ( we) can change the OP(s) to better reflect this. -
[Tutorial] SCR Resources Folder Creation
ritualclarity replied to ritualclarity's topic in Downloads - Fallout Sexout
Thanks for the info. Worked that into the tutorial and tweaked the instructions and now have a basic ( forum) and and complete version (PDF) that can be kept up easier. Over 2500 words on an outline on how to install the tutorial is a bit much to keep up in more than one location.. lol. Gave you some credit for that info as well in the versions.. -
Wonder twins unite... um.. well.. different forum... Anyway jokes aside I think I understand more than I ever did about MO and its work. If I can get off my green but and start loading FOMM I can start working on my understanding of FNV/ FO3 issues and make a decent contribution on that subject as most here are very knowledgeable on Skyrim. I think I figured a easy way to install the HUDs and other mods like those without all that complex steps. Still have to test it out better before commenting. @Androktone. There have been members here that have posted and then were directed to their "conflicts' section of MO. They see that there is something they want and then easily fix it by moving it down below the mod that is overriding the files of choice. They learn then and there indirectly how mods override each other. I previous .. recent post I explained how the "left side" worked related to mod installations to someone that came from NMM and understood the process of mod installations but got confused on the "MO process" which he / she learned was basically the same except " exposed" and more flexible.

I understood your comment. Just made a counter argument that there are people that do in fact want to just load mods. I just want to load mods and play the game on occasion. MO allowed me to do this with the trade off of a slight learning curve. I consider it slight. Others might consider it more of a challenge. Indeed some of the more complex mods like Body Slide is complex to get right for those who don't understand the mod much less how MO works. Yes using other games even games such as Fallout require a bit more experience with Mo and solving the various problems. In those case I just advise them to use FOMM or OBMM ( for oblivion) to make their lives easier. AS they use MO they will get more comfortable and use to the mechanics and how it works and eventually if they desire they can use it for almost any game. Oh and about the unclear video game and guides. You can always make one. I did. SCR resources folder for SCR. It has solved most of the newer members problems. I get nothing but complements ( for the most part) from the newer users and yes even those members here that are moders that used the tutorial. You can do the same. Takes a few minutes. Easy as typing on your computer and export to a PDF or just right into the post. If you are curious I have a link in my Sig to that post. I might even start to play around ( have been playing around with) the idea of creating a LL tutorial of MO. Much like my minor ones for FOMM Simple steps and such to get the basics done. Focusing on Skyrim of course. Not only because it is the easiest to get working with MO but because the other games are supported by different managers here on LL. Out of respect I would focus my attention on Skyrim. Unless I get each and every possible problem solved from the other games r/t the mods and managers here.. or the community converts to MO. ( which I doubt very much)

Even with hammers there are different hammers for different task. Each useful and beneficial for the task at hand and the skill of the user. Some need more experience some not so much.

True Androktone. True. However There seems to be many that do like that " slight learning curve".. MO and Fallout New Vegas or even 3 is a bit more harder to get some of the mods working. Those mods like Huds. Mods that require seeing other mods for installation. Mods that have heavy scripts designed for installation with FOMM is another. There are instructions to get them working and those instructions do indeed work. On this site however with SExout if used I would advise you to use FOMM as I haven't gotten any feed back personally or from others here on fixes and work around if any are needed. For the record I have used every mod manager and even manually install and yes. Even custom Archive Invalidation files in the past. Each have there quirks, advantages and disadvantages. No one manager is the "best" for all users or all games. They are tools. Use the best for your needs.

[Tutorial] SCR Resources Folder Creation
ritualclarity replied to ritualclarity's topic in Downloads - Fallout Sexout
Thank you for your positive feed back NicoleDragoness When this tutorial was created it was using the custom FOMM not the official one. However that being said there are version changes since the creation. My advice is to share this info related to the crashing issue with Prideslayer on his FOMM thread. There might be something that has happened recently that he might need to address. I currently don't have a functional Sexout install to test this myself. That being said for future reference you can even use 7 zip and zip it up and use FOMM to install it if anyone has any problems with either version. -
People use NMM because it is dead simple to install a mod. They frown on the slight learning curve of MO. What they dont' see and what you now see is that with NMM easy installation come a indepth knowledge of what you are doing. Where the files are and what you are overwriting and you really need to understand what is going on. With MO that slight learning curve in the beginning then gives you clean, clear, concise info on what is going on with any profile, mod, save etc. This is the trade off, and what many learn later is well worth the effort of learning.

Oh another note for the newer members from NMM. Don't extract the BSA's with MO. I had problems before when I loaded my last edition of Skyrim. The textures had all sorts of issues and such. This time same mods, same list and works great. Then I read that some of the mods like the Unofficial patches aren't suppose to be extracted. They were automatically with MO. That might have been the major problem I had. Also I have tons of texture mods ( most everything I have is textures and meshes installed ) and it runs as smooth as silk. Most of the mods come with BSA which minimize the size of the folder and still every bit as flexible as loose files through MO.. Now time to move to FNV. Yea MO.

Have been doing this all this time already..

Tryout Powder Ganger Kennel + v1.3_6_7_13
ritualclarity replied to wardminator's topic in Downloads - Fallout Sexout
Follow the SCR resources tutorial. There are the GSB bondage mod textures in that if my memory serves me correctly. If you have everything with the resources folder correctly installed, Loogies mod and this one installed ( I believe in that order) you should have all the requirements other than the base ones. However keep in mind. This mod is old and isn't supported anymore and there might actually be some changes to Sexout and such that might have broken some of the items in this mod. The texture / meshes limit seem dependent on the computer ( and the greatest don't' translate into the best performance here), memory, how nested the files are ( that is how many folders down a texture or mesh is) as well as the total volume ( size of textures loaded into a cell at any given time) . BSA help because they are optimized or containerized which helps the game engine find the files more efficiently. This is a minor improvement in my experience but worth it if you are running a highly textured game. I had originally had the resources I am watching ( babysitting while the creator is busy or not active here on the site) however there might have been some issues running different BSAs ( say from Spectrums toy pack and the SCR pack .. same BSA's but different names. ) and as soon as you throw loose files into the game ( from the same path) all effects and benefits of the BSA are out of the door ( for those textures) as the engine will use Loose files before any BSA as a rule. -
Try the SCR Resources tutorial. It is simple and direct. That should get your proper materials for SCR and help set up the requirements for the Store. Then just install Sexout Store and SCR and you are done. It takes a bit of reading and care but it is a simple process. Best of all once you have your resources folder all you need to do is "patch" it in the future. That is if someone fixes a texture or mesh just drag and drop the texture and/or mesh folder into your Folder and click yes to overwrite. That is unless Halstrom changes pathways in the future. However considering he has been running the same resources for years I doubt he will do that.. If you do run into any questions related to the tutorial and how to do something just post on that thread. I watch it regularly and I can get you an answer or find out myself and then get the answer to you..

Note: If you move Mod Organizer it will work and you might not notice that the settings of MO will continue to deposit the downloads and such where they were originally. You need to go into the settings ( last icon on the top tool bar) and change the location to where you are currently using or keeping MO. reason: I moved MO out of Skyirm and FNV and started downloading some mods. Everything worked just fine except a strange thing. I didn't have the old downloads present in the panel. Checking around MO and my files I noticed that it was still placing them in the old location. For me no harm. However if your old location is a drive that don't exists or other things might cause you some problems. Just a Note. Don't think it was mentioned anywhere else.
-
Don't think so but you can run into issues finding what you want unless you name them correctly. Also after a time.. will you remember the character you have been developing? The path? The story?.. Other than those issues I don't think you will have a problem creating as many profiles as you want. I haven't found any documentation or web comments on limits. So if there are any.. They have to be HUGE.
-
Ah shucks. Just doing my my best to help out....
-
You can screw up whatever you like with MO. Mod to your hearts content. Doing something a few times makes it easier. Doing it often makes it a snap. There are always request for armor conversions and you can be the toast of the town if you get it down to a science. Having different profile for games as well as mods and even bodies.. Yea Mo.

Dam that dude has some stamina to last one hour with a condom.. On a serious note. I go play some other games and come back and everything has changed. Nothing is the same. You seem to dam near re-write the entire mod since I wasn't playing.. .. I was looking at some of the treads and started to feel like a noob again.. Wow.
-
Not to mention that is the best way to grow and learn about MO, giving and receiving tech support.. also... a secret... Many here on LL respond quicker to those that are helping others. The more help given .. generally the faster the help you get.. I remember one time I asked a simple question and 5 people ninja'd each other in about 5 minutes with an answer. .. lol. Food for thought. That tech help don't even have to be very in-depth or complex help. Many newer members here don't even have the basics. When I started here that is all I did for months for I didn't know anything else.

Mass Outfit Redesign
ritualclarity replied to elalquimista's topic in Downloads - Oblivion Non Adult Mods
Perhaps a bad ass skull mask. Later when skills are better you can add some glow ( light) and then perhaps even later build again ..( provided you are even modding this later) add the smoke. Then when you get the shadows, smoke and glow just right .. fade out the skull mask. Anyway I am not familiar with this armor or that character and I got the point right away so you are on track there as it is.
