Don't set iBlurDeferredShadowMask to high unless you got a beast of a gaming rig, If you got a beast of a gaming rig set it to 22, problem should be gone entirely. If not, try to keep it low like 10,  it won't get rid of the pixelization entirely, but at the same time, it will blur it to a point it won't be as noticable, and screenshot wise you won't notice it at all.

A few other things I suggest editing is iShadowMapResolution, set it to either 2048 or 4096, same as iBlurDeferredShadowMask, keep it low (2048) if you do not have a powerful gaming rig.

iShadowMapResolutionSecondary and iShadowMapResolutionPrimary can be set to 2048 without any fear of causing problems.

What can we do if we want to remove shadows entirely?

I have a question. I've been trying to add Zap Sliders to an armor called Clarion. Its from Tera Armors. I opened its Bodyslide files with Outfit studio and tried to add Zap sliders by using the bursh on the underwear part of the armor but whenever i use the mask brush, it affects the rest of the armor. What im thinking is, the underwear part and the skirt part of the armor is somehow connected.

How would i solve this? Do i need to use another program to maybe separate the underwear part or remove it ? Help would be apreciated.

If it's in the same shape (same item in the list to the right), then the mask brush will apply to all of that. There can still be multiple separated meshes inside of a shape/object, so you could try enabling "Edit -> Connected Only".

Yep that solved it. I've added zap slider without butchering the rest of the armor. Thank you!

  4. Hey, so someting has been bothering me for a while, i was looking for Vampire Replacers but so far i havent found anything suits my tastes. I've found a replacer. Here's the link. http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/368-shaydows-vampirelord-overhaul/

However, i didnt really like the armor on the replacer so i thought "How would i change the Clothings?" but then again i had no idea but i did found a youtube video about someone editing Shaydows overhaul by replacing the clothings on it. But to be honest(i mean no disrespect) video was about 40 min longs and i didnt really understand anything even though i watched it to the end.

So what im looking for or asking is , How can i edit the mod to my liking by adding custom armors, wings and maybe horns to it. A step by step guide would be invaluable for me.

Im sorry if i should ask this somewhere else, if so please direct me.

    Thank you for your time.

  5. Instead of loading the outfit, get a BodySlide conversion of the Tera armor and use Load Project with the XML file in the SliderSets folder the conversion came with.

Then add the zap, "Save Project" and re-build the armor from BodySlide.

Your preset is applied in BodySlide, not Outfit Studio.

Okay this worked. Im adding in Zaps to remove parts but one thing is bugging me. There are tiny bits that i cant seem to be masking with the Brush. How do i edit or Remove Zap sliders from Projects? Because delete slider option is grayed out.

Nvm, i figured it out. Thank you very much for help.

  6. Today i decided to edit the Tenebrescent armor from Tera armors and remove the legging part by adding Zap Sliders using these steps.

    1) Open outfit studio

    2) Load outfit "castanic19.nif from Teratenebrescent in ShapeData folder"
    3) I click on the block that has the element I want to remove
    4) Brush - Current Brush - Mask
    5) I paint over what I want to remove
    6) Brush - Invert Mask
    7) Slider - New Zap Slider

    8) Save Project As

However when i do this and try to build it, i see the default CBBE body with the armor instead of the Preset i've created. I tried to delete the base shape and loading the Preset i made however i cant seem to be loading or viewing my Preset in Outfitstudio for some reason when i try to load the body from File/Referance, it gives me an error " Could not load Slider set XML file. If that matters im using SLFCVagina2.0.

What i want to do is, adding Zapsliders to the Tenebrescent armor and removing the lower part of the armor complately but i cant seem to get my body to work with this. I tried following the Bodyslide 2 and Outfitstudio guide to no avail. Im pretty sure im doing something really wrong or making a basic mistake.

What do i need to do to get my Preset to work so that i can edit the armor with Zap sliders ?

Edit: I guess i should've post this somewhere else and my issue has been solved thanks to cell

  7. I would like to suggest something that has been on my mind while using this mod. When i decide to whip the slave, they just stay there and take it, sometimes they cower in fear but thats all.

It would be nice if there were Whipping, slapping etc animations when selecting the "You are going to be whipped". Also it would be nice if the punished Slave could cry and talk. It would add a little bit more reality imo but then again, these are coming from a guy who has little knowledge about modding. I love this mod btw, its easily my most used mod.

Eh i tried everything. Im gonna revert back to my safe files. This time i'll try to do it properly. Thank you for the ideas guys.

No problemo and i just thought of many things.

In your first post, you said "I have tried to copying the contents of the temptress race into the usual data/mesh/actor blah blah to no awail. They are using the standard cbbe bodies "right ?

Have you checked the"owerwrite"folder in MO or the path of the body you created in bodyslide 2 when you click "build"?

Do you use the latest version of cbbe and bodyslide ? Have you installed cbbe with MO or manually ?

Have you checked the folder structure of the temptress race mod ? I said that because it's not the same as cbbe mod.

I did check the overwrite folder there wasnt any problem on that part. I was using correct Meshes with my Temptress, Bodyslide meshes were working properly but they for some reason werent working for NPC's. Also Temptress race's meshes should not affect the rest of the npc's. It wasnt overwriting any of the body mesh files. Also just to be extra sure, i tried placing the bodyslide generated meshes into my Temptress folder so there wasnt any chance for it to overwrite them.

But one problem persists. I couldnt find any Fix for this. Outfit Studio. Could not load XML file. Because of this i cant edit anything. I did search the Bodyslide comments and hreads throughly but still found no fix for it. Im sure im making a stupidly basic mistake. I noticed the Slider preset i created is only 7 or 10 kb. Rest of the Slider presets are 70 or 50kb. Given the long list im thinking its normal but i've got no idea why this happens.

Did you installed Bodyslide 2 manually or with Mod Organizer ?

Through MO. Though i should mention that i copied my Temptress folders contents to normal game folders. I even replaced the Caliente body mods files with my Bodyslide generated ones. I just cant see it happening. Only thing that overwrites my body files should be the Fair skin textures which doesnt change my femalebody 0 and 1. I could be wrong but last time i checked it wasnt overwriting those files.
I said that because bodyslide 2 don't work properly with MO.

I recommend to delete bodyslide 2 in MO(make backups of all your files), re-install it manually and drop all your file backups on bodyslide 2 folder(data/caliente tools/bodyslide).

After that, re-build your custom body in bodyslide 2 and test in-game if the body is the same.

For fair skin, you're right because it change only the body textures and not body mesh.

BodySlide works just fine with MO. In fact, if you use MO, it's recommended to also use BodySlide through MO. The Nexus description has an installation guide.

I followed that. I guess something is overwriting the bodies of the NPC's but i checked the mods for what they are overwriting, nothing overwrites my body type. I also cannot edit anything in Outfit Studio because for some reason it gives me XML error. I wonder if they are related.

  11. I think the temptress race use the standard cbbe bodies and it owerwited your custom body.

You can fix that by :

-Rebuild your body in Bodyslide 2 or if you saved a preset, build your body with that.

-Copy the femalebody_0 and femalebody_1.nif you created in bodyslide 2 (data/meshes/actors/characters/characters assets) to your temptress race folder (data/meshes/temptress/actors/characters/characters assets) and owerwrite the files.

(make that if you want the temptress race use your custom body created in bodyslide 2).

-And test in-game if the body is the same as you created in bodyslide 2 :-)

I could have make the help request a bit clear i guess. The character im using is a Temptress but her models are fine. Body i created through Bodyslide is working but it doesnt work for NPC's. My character is fine, npcs are using standard CBBE body. Im trying to change NPC bodies but so far i couldnt change any body type.

  12. Right now im having the weirdest problem. I must have broke something so NPC's are not using the body i created through the Bodyslide 2. Im using Temptress race so i manually put everything inside Temptress race's folders even though im using MO.

I have tried Copying the contents of Temptress races into the usual data/mesh/actor  blah blah to no awail. They are just using the standard CBBE models.

Does anyone have any idea what i messed up or how this can be fixed?

  13. I was trying to enslave the Special Slaves. The one in the Riverwood, red colored one. I tried to enslave it but none of my mods were able to make her follow me. She goes back to where she was and assumes her pose.

It would be nice if we could somehow buy them or enslave them.

You use BodySlide to create your body preset.

You have the selection of what type of body you want TBBP, BBP, HDT, etc. and then the preset you want to use. You can create your own preset if you wish by the sliders and then you need to save it under Save Preset...

To build the preset you hit the big Build button. This will place it in the file to be used in game. Then select the preset in the drop down and use what body you want to use.

Then by clicking Batch build... you build the armor sets that you have that have bodyslide files for.

You can use Outfit Studio to check the armors against your preset to see how they look or you can change them to your liking by swapping pieces.

Oh. I understand. Thank you very much. If you dont mind asking another question, Is there a way for me to remove a part of the cloth or armor in Studio? I kinda saw people talking about it. If its possible can you explain to me how?

To this don't build armor in BodySlide using RaceMenu Morphs. This creates a connected .tri file and expects what your armor is suppose to look like. If you swap pieces it breaks this and you'll CTD when equiping the armor.

In Outfit Studio you can swap pieces do other things. I use a nif from an armor that I'm not going to use. Like I did this with Immersive Armor's Barbarian2:

    attachicon.gifBarbarian_1.jpg

In Outfit Studio go to File and load outfit. You'll then browse to where the set is that you want to use - load the _0 or _1. The sets are in data/mesh/armor or just in mesh. If you can't find the armor you want to use unzip it and check out the folder structure to follow.

Once you load the outfit you'll see it listed on the right and the armor in the main window. Right click on the piece you want to remove in the list and delete.

Now, go to file and Load Reference. Browse to the armor you want to use to replace the piece and load the _0 or _1 depending on which you're working on. You'll see Reference Shape populated. Drop that down and choose the piece you want to use.

Once chosen it will list on the top of the list on the right. Right click and select Duplicate Shape. You'll be prompted to rename. This doesn't matter but you can't have 2 pieces with the same name. After the shape is listed with the other pieces below right click and hit Build Skin Partitions. Generally if you're using CT77s sets you don't need to do this but if you're using stuff from separate authors you will see that the piece isn't showing in game and needs the skin partitions built.

Once that is done. File and Export Nif. Replace the nif. Go in game and check it out.

You can minimize the game when you're working on armor and once the NIF is saved you can take it off and put it back on to see the change. If you are seeing black block borders shooting from the armor this means that you forgot to do something with the other as you worked on the _0, added something but forgot to do the same with _1.

I dont know how or why but for some reason i cant use the slider preset i created to edit the armors in outfit studio. It gives me this error "could not load slider set xml file". How can i fix this ? I searched a fix for this for hours yet i couldnt find anything.
