Looks like i was right after all. After the failing the step on introducing the paid mods i have predicted that Bethesda won't be giving up on monetizing fan created mods. *sighs* There goes another company fallen into greed :/
Let's not forget to mention about that bethesda.net site they came up with saying that they created the site is for the best for their "community" I always have a feeling that something is really shady about it and it looks like it's colors are finally out!
So what's next? adding DRM on to Creation Kit/G.E.C.K kit making the mods will only function when you're connected to bethesda.net? It's pretty much making it bethesda.net exclusive so they could get all the profit from ads and paid mods.0 -
I just found some nice clothings/armors and it would be nice if someone here could make them bodyslidable

HHS and Heel Sound. If you still have problem, that should be incorrect installation.
Is it the truth that we can only fix clippings between 0-100? if that's the case i guess i will have to adjust my bodyslide preset to avoid clipping =.=. And could you share your bodyslide preset that you're using on those screenshots?

That's a big problem when doing stockings conversions. You can figure out that I use the same feet in this mod to ease the pain. And that's how Poser/DAZ and original conversion by Rayne1023 do as well. Using feet shape looks like Poser one.
Besides, Outfit Studio can't handle outfits that have calf and feet parts very well. And Skyrim engine have problem with rendering multi-layered transparent objects, so leg or feet tattoo will flicker when wearing stockings.
Stockings tattoo is the best solution. It's a pity that only SlaveTats have done this. Making/Converting/Porting any stockings is inefficient because you have to do same thing with different model (different UV), while they all look the same.....
I hope some tattoo makers aware of this and share more stocking sets.
Just tested Luxury Collection out! and it seems that i am getting clipping on belly areas with some outfits i guess HDT v1.4 is a must for this ? My belly sliders are all at 0%
It is a must have for this Bodyslide conversion. I forgot to pack in the mod since I already got permission from blabba. Next major update will include the files needed.
Nevermind it's just my preset =.= negative numbers on the sliders are causing the clipping. Yeah so many incompatible stockings mod lead me on using Slavetats stockings instead, but it would be perfect if there's a numbers of them to choose from
aka adding more stockings textures0 -
Thanks for your tip. I can load the link with or without ".co."
I will consider using google drive next time.
IMHO, Elewin's works can't be better than anything from this mod except some jewelries. No offense. Just because of the public date and textures, many mods has better quality than Elewin's nowadays. In addition, I don't like unrealistic height and the design of shoes. You can get more stockings in this mod and similar shoes at here.
mega.co.nz is working great for me
i just found it strange that why the link wasn't loading for me as well and after looking through the link carefully and i finally found what was missing
. I understand that you're not into Elewin's works. I guess i will try once again on making an CBBE HDT conversion of it, since i really loved those high heels and stockings. The bottom part i meant the feet mesh is the one causing problems with me since it uses UNP feet mesh and i have absolutely no idea how to swap the feet to CBBE ones and making the feet pointed downwards.EDIT: Just tested Luxury Collection out! and it seems that i am getting clipping on belly areas with some outfits i guess HDT v1.4 is a must for this ? My belly sliders are all at 0%
EDIT2: Nevermind it's just my preset =.= negative numbers on the sliders are causing the clipping

Fa....FANTASIC Job! ApoKyrtia
Thank you very much ! for sharing your conversions and making Bodyslide even better! And for those that are having problems with the download link not loading (ahahaha this is a good joke if it was removed deliberately
) make sure you type in ".co." right after megaBy the way, ApoKyrtia i wonder would it be possible for you to convert this UNP heels and stockings to CBBE HDT and add it to your collection as well? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30642/? I tried making an CBBE HDT conversion of it number of times but i have failed on doing so

Hello there Anatrix

I would like to let you know that the guide you have made is really informative! I have learned a lot when i was reading your guide
Thank you
But it seems that i am experiencing random "have stopped working" issues on Riverwood. It happens when i saved inside at either Sleeping Giant Inn or Riverwood Trader, if attempted to leave to Skyrim my game will crash giving me Skyrim have stopped working or something like that.
I searched the net and people said it's pretty common it could be related to ENBs or something. I do not have any unofficial patches installed and the crash happens randomly sometimes it works i could leave the house and to Skyrim without any problems.
Currently, i have only these installed
SKSE v1.7.2SafetyloadShowracemenu Precache KillerFNIS v5.5XP32MSE v2.82Bodyslide v2.7bHDTPE v14.28HDTHH v0.5betaRealvision ENBEDIT: All right it seems that i have found what was causing the crashing in riverwood
It looks like it was HDT HH system causing it! My character was wearing an HDT HH outfit and i saved there inside Riverwood Trader house. When i load the savegame i instantly went to the door and attempted to leave the building and during the loading screen i was hit by the "has stopped working message".The only way to fix it is to turn off the debug info on HDT HH MCM.

Hello there

I just finished reinstalling Skyrim for the fifth time. And before i do anything else i would like ask some questions
1. Do i need to patch the TESV.exe with NTCore 4GB patcher when i am planning on using a ENB plus the ENBoost feature enbhost.exe that is bundled with it?
2. Do you recommend me to install these mods here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33526/? and http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/46465/?
I would like to optimized my Skyrim to prevent those annoying CTDs and infinitely loading screen. Honestly, i did managed to get the famous infinite loading screen with the music playing on the background with my previous Skyrim
I didn't experienced any infinite loading screen until i decided to try out Fair Skin Complexion by HHaleyy and that is where i have started experiencing infinite loading screen when trying to load the savedata.I noticed that when i attempt to load the savedata wheres my character is located at either towns or at the open world it will ended up stuck at the loading screen forever, but i was able to load my savedata when my character is in a small area/cell.
Before installing FSC i did manage to install the requirements mods before installing FSC they are the latest version! Groovtama XP32MSE 2.82, Bodyslide 2.6a, HDT PE v14.28, FNIS
I installed the uncompressed version of FSC on a custom race and i am the only one who is using the custom race. So i am guessing that using the uncompressed version of FSC on a single character is too demanding for my system to handle it?
I managed to tried out the optimized version of FSC and i was able to load my savedata everytime it doesn't matter where my character was. I didn't install any high resolution textures mods except for FSC.The savedatas is created by the vanilla Skyrim they are pretty fresh
I started newgame and saved the game when the person released me from the handcuffs and yet another save is where i escaped from Helgen on the openworld of Skyrim. Here are my pc specs
i5 3470, 8GB RAM, AMD 7850 2GB

Assuming Bodyslide is exporting the meshes to the correct folder and all that, loose files will take priority over those packed in a BSA so there's no need to mess with it. If you're using mod organizer, however, I believe MO will dictate priorities and treat packed and unpacked assets equal in this regard; so you'll need to make sure your exported meshes wins the conflict.
Yup
I did a clean reinstall of my Skyrim and i was using NMM for quite awhile now, so that i figured it out that it's time to give MO a try! Even though i have already watched Gopher's MO videos i have a feeling that i am still inexperienced with the program
since i have absolutely no idea how do i set my bodyslide generated meshes at the highest priority for MO to load it instead of the ones inside the packed BSA file.By the way, It has been awhile since i have used Bodyslide, and i just noticed that there's another bodytype? Unified UNP ?

Hello there

There's a problem that's bugging me for awhile now
I wonder could someone help me with this? Here it goes, let's say there's a armor/clothing is packed in a .bsa file and somebody just created a Bodyslide conversion of it
After installing the Bodyslide conversion files to Bodyslide 2.6a. I generated the conversion with my edited CBBE HDT Body preset, and i went in game to test it but it seems that it doesn't replace the original files
Do i need to unpack the .bsa file then only replace it with my bodyslide generated conversion meshes?

"We understand our own game's communities pretty well, but stepping into an established, years old modding community in Skyrim was probably not the right place to start iterating."
LOL looks like they are not putting the idea down yet =.=

Sadly
i doubt Valve will remove this paid mods Workshop i mean just look at those paid mods that has passed through! http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=430159429&searchtext=
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=429935220&searchtext=
It looks like there are people who supports this kind of crap =.= just look at the current "subscribers" buyers
Does "subscribers" really mean buyers?
That would mean they (Valve) made 2627*0.75 = ~1970€ on one armor replacer mod?
Yeah you cannot subscribe to a mod that is behind a paywall now you will need the $$$$$ to "subscribe" test it/buy it. But for some reason i suspect Bethesda and Valve employers are buying it so they can say "See people there's a market for this kind of thing!"
Coming from someone who hates DRM with a passion: Even that is not -really- a problem as long as the modder can switch on and off the DRM crap on their own end and isn't -forced- to use it.
The one really big danger to what we do here (and that isn't even strictly connected to paid mods at all) is indeed them enforcing mods to be published on Workshop only. Many games already do that and since Steam can freely decide what and what not to allow, modding would effectively be censored. You can bet on THAT being the end of the sort of mods we're making here, since I am not aware of any major corporation on the planet tolerating adult content on their systems. We'd be suddenly living in an Apple-like "ecosystem" where a handful suits decide what software people can develop and what features it can and cannot have.
I guess that will be the time when we won't only have to make mods but the games that run them as well. Oh well...not that we couldn't...*cough* https://openmw.org/en/*cough*
Just imagine that the whole paid Workshop mods scenario being really successful enough for Bethesda.
At that point there's no doubt that they will pretty much implemented the DRM for mods to ensure the maximum profits!
Example the DRM for mods is already being up
Bethesda will force modders to remove their untainted with DRM free version of their mods > and then baiting them into selling their mods on the Workshop just to make it the only place to get the mods as well as the latest version with features packed > And then desperate users will eventually have no choice but to submit to it by buying the mod.
Sadly
I really have low expectations on the situation of having Valve removing paid mods system out of the Workshop. You may ask why am i feeling this? it's quite simple actually since through out the years we have seen shitty stuff like DLC Disc Locked Content pay $ to unlock the locked content on the disc, Cutting up the finished product contents into little tiny bits of DLCs just to sell aka scam for additional profit. Baiting people with ingame Pre Order Bonuses. Early Access paying the developer for beta testing. Cheats Codes made into paid DLCs. Microtransactions in full priced AAA product buying keys from the cash shop to unlock ingame loot chests. Paid demos, Season Pass, Online Pass. And now it's 2015 and all of that shit is still in the recently released games =.= so yeah it shows that there are people out there are willing to accept and pay all of it. If you're reading this then you should know why i am getting the feeling now....
The 25% isn't going to affect the modder much as he/her might know that Steam has over 9M users and based on the data posted on the neogaf forum by a person i couldn't remember stated it that there's at least 8M to 12M? copies of Skyrim sold. So there's millions of potential customers.

I would simply like to point out two big-big-big loopholes of the whole system.
1. No one prevents you from downloading a mod from Nexus or LoversLab, and then uploading it to SteamWorkshop, claiming you made it. It has already been done when mods were free, and now thieves can profit from this too. Indeed, many people on Nexus have already hid their mods and modders resources because of this.
2. No one prevents you from buying a mod, copying the data files to an other folder, "unbuying the mod" (asking for refund), then copying the data files back. Hell, that same person could even upload that mod to a pirate site! As a matter of fact, it's already happening. Hell, someone might as well make physical copies of these pirated mods, and sell them for money on CDs and such. Who is going to prevent such an abuse? No one!
The fact I heavily oppose the idea of paying for mods (because I'm a greedy cheapskate) is one thing, but this... This system is completely broken. I just presented you two of the many potential loopholes within this broken mockery of a "system". Who is going to prevent people from abusing these two loopholes again? No one!
This is where the problems starts, Bethesda will eventually notice it and without any hesitation they will ask the so called retired Skyrim development team to create a new "update" aka encryption DRM for the Creation kit and the game.
If this really happens then those mods that is updated with the new creation kit will be encrypted! and the mods will only work to those who has downloaded the mods on Workshop with his or her PC only. Say goodbye on sharing free mods =.= And secondly all of the future mods of future Bethesda games are pretty much confirmed Steam Workshop exclusive if it really happens.

Q. Can I get a refund?A. If you discover that a mod does not work for you, or does not meet your expectations based on the description of the mod, you can get a refund within 24 hours of your purchase. You can view the full refund policy
btw what is stopping users from first paying the mod, and then ask a refund but at the same time uploading this on mega uploads site for free etc ??

I'm pretty sure there is a limit on how many times that you can actually get a refund. And yeah it's possible for everyone to do this for now.... first buy the mod and upload it to some file hosters sites and then request for a refund.
BUT!! this is where the problems starts, Bethesda will eventually notice it and without any hesitation they will ask the so called retired Skyrim development team to create a new "update" aka encryption DRM for the Creation kit and the game.
If this really happens then the mods that was downloaded and installed on the person PC will only work on his/her PC. Say goodbye on sharing free mods =.= And secondly all of the future mods of future Bethesda games are pretty much confirmed Steam Workshop exclusive.

I'm really not liking the idea of allowing modders to have the option of putting up an paywall on their mods.
I could totally see the disaster happening right now! Greedy modders will remove their existing free mods on the sites they have uploaded and those "free mods" will be turned into mods with price tags on them. So the only way to test/get those priced mods is by buying it.There will be even more Steam Workshop exclusive priced mods than free ones.Let's not forget that clever scammers will see this as a opportunity to scam people and earn money.Modding popularity is definitely going to be decreased by a large amount = less advertising for the game developer like Bethesda and it can also mean less game sales for them.It will be a different case, if it's like an optional feature like you really loved the modders hard work and you want to support them with money which can be easily done by donating whatever amount as you like so basically a donate button
I'm totally supporting this donating feature as long as it's optional and doesn't require gamers to pay to gain access to the mods.By the way, does Bethesda and Valve gain anything from doing this? if they are getting some of the money then i could totally see why they are supporting this =.=. Freaking disgusting greedy assholes!Sharing free user originally created content is a part of PC Gaming, It's also the main reason why i love gaming on PC!. Turning it into a priced user created content aka priced mods pretty much ruins all of it!

Feeling a bit dense now even after checking instructions and this thread multiple times, but I when I select these armor parts in BS 2 don't see any presets that I could use. I also compared xml files with my other grouped armor sets in order to see some differences but no use.
Open and put these lines in your sliderpreset:
<SliderPresets>
<Preset name="(your bodypreset)" set="CBBE Body HDT">
<Group name="s6 BS BLESS Armor" />
Yeah i just encountered this problem as well =.= I hope you can get it fixed it up in the next update
s666 once again thank you very much for making Bodyslide even better!By the way, are these armors included in the pack final or there's more armors coming soon
