Like I said it's a problem with FBX exporter not Unreal.
-
I don't think it has something to do with skeleton. I think the problem is the FBX exporter itself. And when you try to import the mesh in Unreal it triangulates the mesh and distorts it.

[Advice appreciated] New Computer Build for Fallout 4
Morra replied to Tehmedic101's topic in Technical Support
GPU: After reading a lot of different reviews, on a lot of different sites I came to the conclusion that Fury X it's not worth the money they ask for. My hope did not die entirely. I still think with new drivers and unlocking the voltage for overclocking capabilities, this card can kick ass. At the moment performance/watt is on NVidia side with their 980 Ti. RAM: You should reconsider and go for 16 GB Quad Channel G.Skill/Corsair. SSD: For the gaming purpose the entry level SSD you choose it's enough. HDD: You can go for easily with 2 TB HGST/Hitachi or Samsung. Monitor: Drop the TN and go for IPS. Trust me when you are going to play on an IPS monitor, you will never want to play on something else. Waterblocks: From Corsair or Cooler Master, I think they are all black but can be modified. -
I didn't see any issues importing it. Granted, I used it only in 3D Max and from what I saw I can tell that it was made with 3D engines support in mind. There are some people on Daz forums that tested it in Unreal environment too.
-
You can use the new Genesis 3 from Daz Rig and the Mesh that comes with it. It was already tested in Unity engine and it's working good.

Buying separately and assembling it all by yourself is cheaper, but you need to know how or have somebody to help you. Don't forget about software that you will need to buy, install and configure. A lot of sites today have a PC configurator, where you can choose what hardware and software you need. They will assemble, install and configure it and send you your PC ready to use out of box.

It's not my interpretation, urban's dictionary. I found it stupidly hilarious, so I posted it. P.S. I was joking.

I binged on a whole bunch of LPs of Fallout Shelter
Morra replied to Gameplayer's topic in General Gaming
Wow! And why is that? Both of your listed programs are known to distribute malware and have a lot of fake testimonials. BlueStacks has its own problems too. Their adware and constant donation demand can sometimes irritate people, but it's a fully functional software that doesn't spreed malware or need fake testimonials to promote itself. But feel free to use anything you want if it suits you. -

Bethesda tweeted yesterday. So there is a big change it coming on Android before Fallout 4 release. -

It's restricted to iOS not only phones. I play it on iPad and I enjoy it very much. It'll be soon released for Android and we can play it on PC with BlueStacks. -

Questions about Windows10 DX12 multi-GPU support
Morra replied to zzz72w3r's topic in General Gaming
Out-of-box the short answer is NO! Technically it's possible and it's actually very simple with DX12 to make 2 different GPUs from different companies to work together, but Nvidia doesn't allow using there GPU to work side by side with GPU of another company. It doesn't matter if it's DX11 or DX12. Again, technically it's possible if it's software enabled, meaning the game developer via DX12 will give you the possibility to use all the GPUs you have on board. -
In my first play I had the same ending and I had the same bad feeling after the end game. They should have not allow you to roam after the end, there is nothing that gives you any incentive to continue to play in a shallow world. They already sad, that they will not do any post ending content, it's too much work, too many different things to consider for each ending. But they are considering to throw you back in time, like loading the last save before the final part of the story. There is a mod that modifies the lighting to the one in cut scenes. It's much better then default one.

I'm not trying to be negative about the game, I'm just reading a lot about it on official forums and had some first hand experience with different patches myself. At the moment I don't have any game breaking issues, except for may be alchemy, but I can live without it till next patch, but a lot of other people and I mean a lot, have serious problems introduced by latest patches. What's important and it's pure speculation, but I think (and not only me) that the game has the same build for all 3 platforms. When they do something to make the console version run better, they sacrifice some graphic fidelity and naturally the PC version suffers from it too. I'm with CDPR for the time being. They could have done a better job with patch testing, but they want to please the crowd and sometimes like in their own game you can do more harm than good. Let's hope the next patch will be better.

Killing cows was never because of XP, it's an exploit peaple on low lvl were using to farm and sell their hides, as a result breaking the game's economy. XP bug is still present even after the latest patch. It's related to some quests, that do not give you experience even if they are in range of your lvl. Actually with every patch released CDPR managed to break more things then fix them. From overall graphical and performance downgrade to game mechanics and quests.

What worries me about Fallout 4 is last generation of consoles listed as a targeted platform. Does it mean no DX11, not even 64bit and the same old engine ... ?
-
I don't need to. As I said before, I finished already the game with the ending I wanted. I did every single side quest that I could find before finishing the main one. My next session will be a complete replay with the hardest difficulty possible and I will never jump to main quest again, I'll just leave it be with the world that still has all the characters and doesn't feel empty.
-
You still don't get it. I'm not talking about the ending itself, I'm talking what happens after it. After you are done with the main story, they will let you go back in the world where you can finish your side quests. The problem is that the world you get is stripped of practically every character that makes it alive. When you will finish the game, you will see what I'm talking about. Before you finish your main story, I advise you to do the side quests, beacuse I don't think you will want to do them in an empty world. Like i said i won't spoil myself the ending. However i can't imagine any ending that impacts the world as unimmersive. Maybe it sux, is not fun to see your world hollow or whatever - but it does not break immersion. Unless the world state does not reflect the events that happened that is. I never cared about main story in skyrim ever, it doesn't do anything it is the least imemrsive story period.
-
I'm sorry, but did you actually read what I'm talking about? Did you read the the main topic on official forums? Did you understand why are people complaining? The point is that with this return to the hollow world after the main quest it's an immersion killer. They could have done it like in Fallout New Vegas, where you are back before the last decision or just not give you any return at all and show you the main menu. They could have done what Bethesda did in Skyrim, play the sandbox after main story and do not delete any characters from the world and go explorer and do the side quests all you want.
-
I actually did all the side quests and all the contracts, as I always do when playing RPGs, but even for me, the world became hallow without the main characters. CDPR so many times spoke about Skyrim and how it inspired them to do a sandbox Witcher game and what they did? Destroyed the ending. Why did they not leave everyone in game? I don't need more quests with them or lines of dialog, just them presents would be enough like Bethesda did with Skyrim.
-
A word of Warning!!! Do not finish the main story, do all the side quests before it. If you do, you can find yourself in a very "sad" state, that will kill any desire to continue to play the game. If you want tot find out why, here is the main topic (contains Spoilers!!!) on official forums about it.
