I'm sorry, I must that explain!
I have me today at GDR - historians knowledgeable made.
was founded as the GDR, appeared in socialism the slogan *all people are equal*

and the simple oppressed population supplemented this slogan * but some are more equal *!

it has nothing to do with the children's book Animal Farm by George Orwell.

Some even believe that George Orwell wrote the book after he heard the GDR Slogan to discriminate socialism.

George Orwell has taken humans, animals used.

edit: Therefore the origin is German!

    Animal Farm = published 1945

    Founding GDR = 1949

That should be enough about this topic in this thread imo.....

    On Topic:

Is the "back to top" arrow gone for goood?

And the "who is online at the bottom of the main page and the member counter on the lower right are gone as well?

  2. Granted, but that type of pizza is outlawed and you are arrested and jailed for possession.

I wish I don't have to get out of the house until Monday and can play FO4 all the time!

Just because there was no overview doesn't mean that information wasn't available, it was just in a different place. LL and 99% of its content can be accessed by anyone at any time. It is undeniably a public website, and like all public areas, you have no expectation of privacy.

Before, people had to search a bit more for the information and since most probably are as lazy as I am when it comes to that didn't bother.

Now, having it all available with one (maybe two) clicks is what rubs me in a wrong way atm, I will stop bitching about it once I am used to it

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this not a public website? All your actions were already visible to everyone. That was, in fact, the point.

Actually, it was not that openly accessible before the update. There was no overview in the profile showing all your activities. Now you visit a profile and you can see what was given reputation for and where you posted, who started following who etc.

You could turn off your friendslist for everybody else and your status showed "Last online: Private". I guess I will keep bitching about this for my taste too open display of activities until I got used to it. Probably will give less rep in the future though, to avoid it showing up in the profile.

And I am not sure if I would call it a public website, I always thought of LL as a private forum, could be language barrier though....

a question, have you or have did you *Friends* and what mean you your friends?
I have very many people helped here on Loverslab easy to recognize 6330 Posts!
and very many have me thereupon in their friendslist recorded.

I never felt the need to add people to the *friends list* since the ones I consider some kind of friends are in my Personal Messenger, no need to have an icon in some list for them. If they are only as Avatars in a list to collect dust they are more or less "trophies", not friends.

  7. Well, like @Ashal said, it is not a feature he scrapped, it is the new software. Change often is not easy, but we have to adept.

And we should skip being overly dramatic ("ripped out of my memory".... really?)

New software comes with new features and drops old ones, that is the natural cycle of it.

Am I happy with everything? Nope, but if there is nothing that can be done about it I can either adept to it, or I can quit logging in. I personally choose the first option and will try to adept to my actions being visible to everyone.
