  1. Mesh Rigger expands the body to accommodate the new bones and it looks like that's what's happening. I've had some luck applying Mesh Rigger updates to the "To" body before creating a Clothing Converter lattice so it will match later. Also, there are some clothes that simply don't respond well to Mesh Rigger. They may look okay at first, but then clip or deform when sneaking or playing animations. In that instance, you need to experiment to see which bones are creating the problem and figure out what to do from there.

    It's a good effort on the author's part, but it's a pale shadow of what's available here. Regarding hosting, I don't think sexual mods are the problem. Sexlivion and others have been hosted there for years. I just think there is some kind of historic rivalry between the two sites.

    Unfortunately it's also made aiming with a bow a real pain in the ass. There doesn't seem to be an aiming reticule anymore.

    That's an option you can enable in Data\OBSE\Plugins\OblivionReloaded.ini.

  4. I'm pretty familiar with both 1st-person mods so maybe I can help. First, since you're using DR6, you should use this skeleton for compatibility with the mods here on Lovers Lab:

     

    Like you, I think Oblivion Reloaded's camera looks better than Enhanced Camera. Unfortunately, it's just not quite ready for prime time. There's a new OR version coming soon, so maybe it will work better. I also have the Double-Bow problem, but not always. And I haven't yet figured out what triggers it.

     

    In the meantime, there are lots of DR6 people using Enhanced Camera, so I know it can be made to work. I've found that you need to enable head-bob to ensure accurate aiming. And you may need to adjust the fCameraPos settings to get everything exactly right. x = Left/Right, y = Forward/back, and z = Up/down. And those setting do affect aiming.

     

    Let me know what else you need.

    Yes, that's the exact effect I had. You can work around it by changing Oblivion's resolution to 1360x768, but Oblivion Reloaded is the better solution.

    I think the problem might be hotkeys, whatever method I use, Oblivion intercepts the hotkey I press and it doesn't get sent to the screenshot program so the screenshot is not taken.

    The link to your screen shot doesn't work for me, but the PrntScr .bmp file should work okay. Oblivion does have a quirk where its native screen captures only work with standard resolutions like 1024x7168 or 1360x768. I have a laptop with 1366x768 and all screen captures were scrambled until I figured out what was happening.

     

    If you use Oblivion Reloaded, you can use F11 to capture screenshots in .jpg format in non-standard resolutions, so maybe that's another option.

    When you make your lattice, unclick the UV Search button. If that doesn't work, unclick any of the constraint buttons that might be clicked (when making your lattice).

  10. NMM fucks up ini files as well as many other things.  We don't provide any support for NMM and Oblivion here.  Either manually install the mods or use OBMM or Wrye Bash.

    In the interest of completeness, there's also TESMM, which is the continuation of OBMM. It's basically OBMM extended to work with the Fallout games and Skyrim. And it's still being actively updated.

  11. The FemaleUpperBody.nif and FemaleLowerBody.nif in Data/Mashes/Characters/_male are the ones used by the game unless something else is overriding them. Make sure both the file name and extension are right. If so, add them to a vanilla installation and see the problem still occurs. If not, then it should be a simple process of elimination.

  12. Round ass for zkec? Don't let Neodee or Risray let you catch saying that...

    As for a HGEC compatible Round Ass, the only one I know is contained in an outdated version of Setbody (electrro's). Used for the ERA body. I think the butt bones are animated with the OP3 method. Here it is:

    Not sure how it will mix with Setbody Reloaded HGEC upperbodies, probably you'll have to shift 1 vertex up.

     

     

    Adapting it to zkec in Blender shouldn't be too difficult. If you need help, I can do that for you.

    And you can use Mesh Rigger to add the butt bones. :)

  13. I installed portable version v.0.89.e and then upgraded to v.0.89.k. I went to make a lattice from a E top body to a Manga top body. The problem being is the lattice saved as a file with 0.0 bytes and consequently no clothing conversion works. Any ideas why the lattice would save as a 0.0 byte file?

    In the folder where you extracted your files, there should be a Save folder. See if there's make_lattice log file in there, which might say what happened.

    Also, for what it's worth, I've always had better luck using all four body sections in both the From and To folders, rather than just the upper or lower body. You can hold down the Ctrl key to select all four body sections.

  14. After ending the new idle an npc is starting to move legs endlessly in all the common standing idles.

    Everything is going right. Actor is playing anim.

    Actor stops the new animation but if it is standing, it's legs continue to slowly move! An effect persists after the target sits, walks, after cell reloads. As soon as the npc is standing idle, it's legs are moving.

     

    I've tried to write pickidle 1 several times. Tried to use playgroup idle 1. Nothing changed.

    I've tried to use reset3dstate - it helps, but only for one current idle. For example, if the target is readlig book and moving it's feet, then after the command it will stand like the good npc should. But after idle is renewed, the actor is doing it's dance again!

     

    Is that kf file really bad and unusable?

    Is there a way to make my little puppets behave?

    This should work:

    You may or may not need the Update3d command, depending on the idle. Likewise with theToggleFirstPerson command, depending on whether you play in 1st-person POV.

    Archive invalidte is set-

    Try it again. Fejeena is right - the skeleton you're using lacks the required penis bones. Make sure that LAPF's skeleton.nifs, and no others, are in the Data\Meshes\Characters\_Male and in Data\Meshes\Characters\_1stPerson folders. Also, those are different skeletons - don't use the same skeleton in both locations.

  16. I've never had any problem converting from larger to smaller with Oblivion. For me, the key is to use all four body sections (Upper, Lower, Hands and Feet) in both the "From" and "To" folders when creating the lattice.

     

    Oh, you should use them all? I was making them as separate latices (which is what I would do for hands and feet for Skyrim). Maybe that was my problem. Oh well lol - thanks for the tip! :]

    Yes, just hold down the Ctrl button and click on all four of them to highlight them all. Hopefully that will solve it for you.
