Hiya guys! Okay, so 90% of my stories are about my main character, Mai. But, I'm sure you'll agree, every now and then it's nice to try out something new. Sometimes I'll want to try a new play style, or re-run some early level quests and dungeons, or just walk around Skyrim looking slightly different! This, of course, brings us to: The Dreaded Alts! Most of the time I just create a new character (usually based on a Mai template) and run around for a couple of hours before returning to my main character wondering why I ever left! But sometimes, I'll like a new character enough to do a bit more - and I'll shoot a story or two with them. The first of these is with a character named Sara. I had fun playing as her, but ultimately her style drifted too close to Mai's (stealth/archery) and I eventually stopped levelling her. But not before this quick story. Hope you enjoy! Hiya guys! To celebrate putting all of my old Mai stories up on this blog - I went back and finished a story that I had abandoned some months ago. I had only completed the first four parts, and even though I was excited about the story itself Skyrim burnout took hold and I ended up shelving it. However, following the great feedback I got from this blog I decided to revisit it and complete the tale. This resulted in about 100 new screenshots in 6 new chapters! Just some test shots that I hadn't intended to post, but I ended up liking in a silly sort of way.   Please be warned - male and female nudity, don't click if that sort of thing offends you!         Like I say, just test shots - so excuse the bad positioning etc! Really want to do some more stories at some point too, it's so much fun.....but sooooo time consuming

Been messing around with new ENBs, so I thought I'd post some random shots of the two characters I've been playing as recently. Mostly NSFW!     Mai:    

Hiya - regarding the lighting in these stories, before I start taking screenshots I choose a suitable location. Then I move around this location setting up lighting by placing lanterns at strategic areas. This gives off enough light to illuminate faces, which in turn enhances expressions.   As for blurring the background, this is done by exploiting the depth of field provided by most ENBs.   Speaking of ENBs, my entire Skyrim install has recently gone through a dramatic overhaul - including new body mods, textures and even a new ENB. I had resisted moving into the present with the rest of you guys, instead stubbornly sticking with my older ENB so that I could keep AA. But having finally made the switch....well.....it's soooo worth it for how good Skyrim looks. The downside is that Mai kinda looks different too, though I prefer it overall.    Hopefully I can do a few more stories - i've actually really missed making them - but time just hasn't allowed for it lately. Major thanks to all you guys for the support!

Hey everyone! Finally we arrive at the last fully completed Mai story - detailing what happened when the Jarl of Whiterun decided to thank Mai for her service to the city! There's some pretty heated scenes in this one, so be extra careful! I don't want to be responsible for corrupting your innocent minds! So now this blog is pretty much bang up to date as far as finished Mai stories are concerned. I'd love to try and get back into Skyrim and start creating some new adventures for her - and also maybe finish off some older ones too. Hiya!   I've been overhauling my main character, and i'm at the point where i'm quite satisfied with the results. The difference might seem quite minor, but I've put a 'before and after' shot at the very bottom of this post for anyone who might be interested!   Anywho, here's some pics (these are very NSFW by the way!):       Mai - reborn as lowly level 1 character and ready to head back out into Skyrim and kick some butt!     To anyone who made it this far - thank you!!!

Hi guys!   I wanted to give a big thanks to Mart0206, TheHuntress1970, Asenasen,  BRANDNEWMEMBER777, Germanicus, Enjuno, XJ347, Lendova and DarkAuron for their great feedback regarding my attempts to haul my main character out of the stone age!   Also, massive thanks to the always awesome NeonFirefly for taking the time to post a detailed breakdown of what he reckons does and doesn't work. I found this very helpful and, together with the rest of the feedback, I hope I can use these ideas to improve my character's look and design.   For the record, I actually agree with pretty much all of the feedback, both positive and negative. Truth be told, this isn't the first time I've updated Mai to more modern textures. But I've always immediately rolled back to my old version because of the reasons people have specified. However, to echo NeonFirefly, this time I allowed her new look to sink in and came to the conclusion that the positives outweigh the drawbacks.   I'm gonna take some time to try and improve her, and hopefully get her to a point where she just looks like a slightly more up-rezzed version of the old Mai. Little things like her lipstick color need to be reverted to something close to the original, and I'm not 100% happy with her body design yet. Luckily, the newest Bodyslide allows editing to be done in-game! Pretty awesome!   Regarding ENB, yeah I still use Sharpshooters as it allows me to keep my own AA enabled. I play on a crappy 1440x900 monitor, and losing AA makes my game all pixelly. That's why I keep Sharpshooters. If anyone knows a workaround for this I'd happily switch ENBs in a heartbeat!   Thanks again guys for all the tips and feedback! Here's a few more quick shots in different lighting. Not totally happy with these but I've had no time to edit her any further - hopefully soon!  

Hiya guys!   I've been away from Skyrim for a while (mostly on account of being on the far side of the globe with no computer!), but just recently arrived back and decided to update my Skyrim install properly.   This means a new body type and textures for my main character. I'd been using extremely old CBBE body plus edited textures, and it's probably time they were replaced.   So I'm trying out Unified UNP with SG textures, and I think I like it. Here's a few test screens of my main character (NSFW)     Before change:         I'm not quite sure if that's a big difference or not! There's still quite a lot to do anyway I imagine, and you may notice clipping from older armor parts or jewelry.   Also, for any UNP fans out there using your own custom mesh - any tips for "bodysliding" Skyrim's base armor and clothes so that it fits both the player character as well as NPCs? I was using this mod with CBBE, and was wondering if something similar exists for non-CBBE bodies. Or will I have to get dirty and use Outfit Studio? And if so, are there ways to batch build all the base armors?   Any tips and feedback is very much welcomed! I'm a total UNP noob as you can probably tell...

I wish it was easier and less time-consuming to set up and capture these kinds of tales - because I really enjoy fleshing out my character and giving her a personality, but I just don't have the patience to painstakingly place and pose multiple characters. Hiya guys!   I've been really quiet lately, only really answering my mails(or trying to) and finishing up adding all my old stuff to my blog.   However the reaction to my blog has been so nice, with lots of great comments and well over eleven thousand views(this blows my mind!) that I had to try and do something in return to say thanks. So that motivated me to revisit and finish a story that I started a few months back, but abandoned due to Skyrim burnout.    The story was already mapped out in my head, so it was just a matter of making time to take the shots! And well....there's over a hundred of them! For that reason I'll be posting it here in two installments(even that might be overkill!) and then on my blog in it's completed form.    The first spoiler here includes all four of the previously posted parts, as I really don't expect anyone to remember this!
