Yesterday I got my main (not the gaming) PC infected by this f*****g s**t!!! Fortunelly I have a backup for most of the files. And the O.S. partition came back to normal after a full restore. This claims to kidnap your SWs/personal files by encrypting them. They were also renamed and/or moved from its original folder (even in the external drives). You may find files with messed names/extensions like: 1cojozm.gl9 6b7h2b.2hexd bah6e.a53o xja0oqnlw.5rc8 4yyzk.a94 m3hhpzu.w24n 1c47o4.f8 And a pic with the name "HELP_YOUR_FILES.PNG" pops up in every affected folder. *I got rid of the ones that appeared, but it's the same as this: Spoiler A friend of mine got his desktop infected by the "Love Letter" (around 15 years ago), the outcome are very similar.
