character creation bug

so recently i did a clean install of oblivion but even though i only installed the DLC's and the latest update i encountered an extremely annoying bug.

no matter how hard i try i can't change the skin color of my character so that i am stuck with a pale/white skin color even for redguards!

it seems to also effect npcs because baurus was also white

how can i fix this it isn't game breaking but it is extremely annoying to not get the color i want for my character.

Sounds like your facegen texturing is off. Look in your oblivion.ini for bFaceGenTexturing and set it to 1.
