Skyrim Skeleton importing with 3ds max problem

I am having problem with skeleton when importing nif files with import skelton box checked in 3ds Max. Skeleton just does not show up! I use 3ds Max 2012 with nif plugin v373. Skeleton does not show with the vanilla nif files either. So I have to import armors and stuff without skeleton then import skeleton_female.nif and delete those boxes and sphere meshes in skeleton_female.nif everytime to get it work. This solves the problem technically but the problem is still there and it is annoying me.

I used just the UNPB female_body nif to show the process, same happens with any armor nifs including vanilla files.

Step 1:

I imported femalebody_1 w/o skeleton and skeleton_female.nif here and deleted anything else unnecessary (boxes etc.).

Step 2:

After I have working skeleton and body I tried to export, this is my export settings.

Step 3:

c_a8c_ucrt2.png

Here I opened new scene and imported the file that I just exported with skeleton checked and you can see that skeleton is not showing.

Step 4:

d_540_ucrt2.png

And this is what happens when I import an animation, runforward.kf in this case. Skin weights are still working though some bones are still there but invisible. And nothing goes wrong in game. But still I want to fix this problem, it is bugging me. Is the nif exporter/importer not working right or am I doing something wrong?

The NifTools forum might be a better place to ask as they ought to know the current capabilities of the importer. It might not be able to yet. Even the Blender importer still has missing features.

I don't see why you are doing steps 2 and 3,

and what was the stuff you deleted in step 1?

to show exporting too with importing. I don't know if it screws up while exporting or importing so I showed the whole process just in case.

Nothing important. Like I said there are some box and elipsoid meshes in skeleton_female.nif in the shape of human, and they are collisionless. I guess they are there to see the animations better. I just need the skeleton for my files to work well.

Well all i do is import skeleton, then import armour/body with the import skeleton box unchecked, and then imported an animation.

when you import a armour/body with import skeleton checked max just makes dummy nodes that can't be used for animation.
