whats a good place to purchase oblivion? I bought it off direct2drive back in the day but I read you cant use it with mods because some encryption thing.

Depends on your country. You shouldn't take a downloadversion because of the compatibility. At amazon.de you pay for the GOTY only 11,99 Euros. Also you find it in theses big department stores in bargain bins even cheaper.

I'm pretty sure I got my GOTY edition from amazon.com, but it was quite a few years ago and I could be remembering that incorrectly...

Well, if you can use Amazon I'd say them.

Or if not, try looking in local stores, or try other sites.

Last resort would be to buy it off Steam.

Not to support piracy.

But you can just download the GOTY version at PirateBay for free and its the original copy with the latest patch its even moddable.

If you dont like piracy then skip this tip. LoL XD
