Help With Hot Keys

I may not be very tech savy, like at all, but I've been playin Skyrim since the day it came out and I still ca't figure out how to set up the hot keys, if someone would be kind enough to tell a stupid bitch how to do it, I'd greatly appreciate all your efforts. Thank you....and thanx to ALL you wonderful modders out there, I love what you produce!!! :) <3 <3 <3 MWA!!! <3 <3 <3 ....please don't stop???
