How do I use companions as meat shields?

Because whenever there's a fight, enemies focus on PC exclusively, without me ever attacking them. To the point where I can cast invisibility and enemies would still just run around looking for me, completely ignoring my companions who are freely hacking away at them with abandon.

The only instances where enemies switch away from PC is if I summon something, but I really don't want to play a conjurer with every non-warrior I make.

Are you using Mad Companionship Spells? I believe that mod (or MCS Extension) has an Target spell called "Barrage".

With that spell, you can fire at an enemy from a distance and send in your companions to start the fight.

I think it to be different by MOD which you use how a companion participates in a battle.

A companion is given AI, and it is because it varies according to MOD using.

Nope' date=' and I can't download it, either. Apparently, it's been removed from MF for "violating of their ToS".

But the HumanTouchNPC mod has this as a feature:

● 'Target Leader' [NPC / creature] Makes the player or designated companion to be the main target of enemy attacks.
So maybe that will do the trick.

What I'm having is not a problem with how companions behave, but rather with other NPCs ignoring companions (CM, CSR or standalone) in combat.

Vilja , neeska, XEo(companion mod in xeoSP++) all have target spells to attack targets and/or set aggression levels.

Easy Installs:

Vilja is awesome companion and extremely hot now with the customization pack

neeska has a nice makeover http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/37387

May need clean slave/restart to install above.

MCS are just awesome!Strange I just downloaded from links from LL less than a week ago... damn you are right they just died *phew * glad I got em .MCS are really useful if u can find em cause they dont upset the ai of npc you can use em to compliment the commands a vanilla companion has for example

Much Harder

===========

XEOSP++ is a somewhat difficult install AND ITS a big file (1.5 -2 G)so unless you really like XEO**,which replaces all races with pretty (cept xeosp++ which makes the older ones a not so hot.Lot of little gotchas installing this one - like the files are not packaged quite right etc

That's funny. When I have a CM partner with me, they all gang up on them instead of me.
