Hardware help.

I am looking to upgrade a few things on my computer to where i can run Oblivion quite well without forking out a whole lot of cash.

I know for certain i need a new video card, mine can barely run most games as i am limited to games like Postal 2 and Manhunt when it comes to how well they run and how smooth it all looks.

These are my current specs:

CPU: Intel® Celeron® CPU E3300 @ 2.50GHz

RAM: 2.1 GB

OS: Windows 7

Video Card: Intel® G33/G31 Express Chipset Family

I am mainly looking for a video card that works the best with Oblivion that are moderately priced that will run the game well even with mods like loverspk paired with some that clean up game graphics (unless of course the PC graphics on max beat the 360, then i shall be satisfied). This is mainly because I have little confidence with computer hardware and don't want to fuck up its insides. Plus its the first thing i want to upgrade on my computer anyway.

Any help?

It is already very old days that Oblivion was made.

If it is the environment that the present latest game recommends, Oblivion should act comfortably.

Because disk access should be short, in Oblivion, there should become little stress if it carries large-capacity SDD and installs Oblivion.

The changes such as a CPU, Memory, a power supply unit, CPU cooler, the motherboard will be necessary, too.

It may be necessary to change a motherboard to support the access speed when I change it for new Memory.

In addition, it may be necessary to change a power supply unit for a large-capacity thing without enough consumption electricity when I change GPU.

It may be necessary to change CPU cooler when I change a CPU for the latest thing because calorific value becomes big.

In addition, it may be necessary to change a housing to put away these things.

Oblivion doesn't require much of your GPU just your CPU

BTW what do the Skyrim requirements have anything to do with Oblivion?

Though it is not the smallest specifications that Oblivion acts on that he asks you a question and works more comfortably more neatly, I think that he asks us which hardware he should change.

Aye, I am indeed looking into hardware that i can change out in order to run the game very well with as little lag as i can without breaking the bank on brand new high performance hardware. And what would be the best to replace first (besides the video card) so I can actually run the game? or is that all i need at the moment? and if there are any particular products you prefer I'd be more than happy to read why and see how much cash I need to save up.

Well it is known Oblivion needs more of your CPU than your Videocard but if your videocard is really bad you should also get a new one of that... and i also suggest getting more RAM as windows 7 already requires 2 GB of it's own so there is little space for games to use RAM...

If it was the environment that it recommended of a released game recently to have shown recommended environment of Skyrim, Oblivion invoked it in a meaning to work comfortably.
