High heels help?

28 posts in this topic

Hi all

I've come to the end of my rope trying to install Vipcxjs Real High Heels System. I just can't get it to work because there don't seem to be any instructions on how to install.

I've added the necessary plugin to the obse folder (and I have the right version of obse) and pasting the RHH files into the Oblivion folder- and when I start the game I get given the spells and shoes. However any clothing mods that require the RHH system make the game crash and I have to remove them.

Can anyone help me with exact and precise installation instructions?

Thanks!

Maybe the game crash if you load order is not right. In OBMM, be sure vipcxjs real high heels is before all other mod with RHH support.

(sorry for my english)

I have made sure it is above all mods that require it, yes.

Heracles,

Sorry this thread didn't catch my eye til now, There is a lot that can go wrong with this system just like any Mod that rely on scripting here are just a few things to check:

Make sure you are using the correct version of Vipcxjs Real High Heels System for the mod you are trying to run. 9.3 made some changes that caused my mods not to work so I had to redo one of them and re release it.

Make double sure that you installed the High heels system correctly to include putting in the skeleton in the correct folder and click yes when it asks you if you want to over write the existing file.

Do not open the the .esp file in the construction set it will cause the file to loose it's master and all of the scripts attached to the shoes if you save it.

Make sure that Vipcxjs Real High Heels System esp is loaded before any of the mods that require it otherwise they won't function.

Finally make sure that you are using OBSE to start and run your game otherwise this will not work period. Steam I am not sure if that effects this or not I never have used it and I am not sure how it works with OBSE.

Good Luck

Bis

Also a good alternative to the Vipcxjs Real High Heels System is Growlfs Body Resizing Mod found here http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31955

It lets you set breast size, leg length, and you can set how much feet tilt which will give you the high heels look. These settings are applied universally so all of your armors will be effected.

This may sound stupid, but the plugins don't belong in the obse folder, they belong in the plugins folder which is in the obse-folder. If you meant that in your post, just forget this remark.

sure.

you download the rhh archive and his obse plugin version 3

copy everything in the archive to the date folder under oblivion.

both mesh and textures, have it overwrite when asked, unless you have a better skeleton, which by now everyone should be using grolfs skeletons.

then you check mark the boxes for the main rhh esp and the clothing esp in obmm or the default starter.

making sure that the main rhh esp is above the clothing one, all mods that use it should have the rhh esp above them.

can you use the spells on the clothing you get with the system? can you change the height of your pc?

if not check if you have vipcxj_plugin_collection.dll in the plugin dir under obse.

FYI the plugins folder is to be placed in your Data Folder, NOT in your Oblivion folder. I made that mistake and kept getting that annoying message. Put it in your Data folder and it should work.

I'm sorry folks, I really need to resurrect this post as VipCxj High Heels really gives me loads of grief. The mod works fine for me, as it is intended. I have been careful with load order and have the right versions of both the OBSE plugin and esp file etc. Ive taken great trouble with all the above. I've tried different ways of installing the mod. On fresh installs, I've tried:

1. OMOD

2. Bain

3. Drag and dropped into data folder.

I get the same disastrous results every time, namely it completely messes with my animations. Stripper stops working and lovers animations just won't initialise, especially creature/creature rape ones.

I have a slight suspicion. I use HGEC Body with BBB v1dot12-34442 omod which I believe uses UFF FF00 Moving Breast and Animations By Dryad. Could this be the true culprit?

Ideas anyone? I'd be delighted with any suggestions.

Thanks in anticipation.

I have a hard time believing that the UFF stuff could prevent lovers animations from firing.....I could be wrong of course.

Myself I don't use VHH mod because of all the hoops you have to jump through to make it work and KEEP it working...as I am always adding more and more mods. When I find a mod that requires it (with good looking clothes/armor), I just rip out the meshes and textures (editing in NifSkope if necessary) and load it into my custom chest esp that I made and go and grab it from there. This keeps my clothing mod esp's to a minimum and leaves me free to add other junk I likely don't need........:)

Cheers gregathit. On its own, I don't have any problems at all. I only have problems in conjunction with HH. Tempted to install Growlfs as suggested earlier.

I tend to merge my clothing mods using Gecko. I'll consider your suggestion and am thankful for your response.

I have been using Growlfs universal skeleton since the DR6 beta came out and have never once had an issue with it.

Hope you can get things worked out and rolling!

Happy Gaming!

Oh I do use the universal skeleton. I meant his resizing mod but bless you anyway.

Ohhh....funny that you mention it. I have looked at that several times but just never got around to messing with it. Might just have to break down and do it this weekend.

hmm i use a mix of nomaam and pretty woman animations, i haven't had issues with either, might try that.

or do you mean the body meshes?

strange you have so many issues, my setup sounds more complex than yours and i haven't had issues with vhh. lovers does act wonky for me but i think it's due to the fighting animation system i use.

have you tried changing your animations and body mesh?

Demongoat,

Not really that complex but the particular HGEC BBB compilation I use has the Dryad animations merged into it. What I wondering if others had used it and experienced similar problems in relation to HH to mine. When installing the omod you have the choice of installing the animations or not. I'm not a particular fan of nomaam, but at this time I'm prepared to consider any possible solution and what you use might actually be a viable one for me and for your suggestion, I thank you.

Although you are not a fan of NoMaaM (which of course I can't understand at all :D) you might consider using it.

The reason why Rivelle added the "No Animation" option to his HGEC BBB, and recommends using NoMaaM instead, was that UFF animations are known for having problems including CTDs. Go to the "HGEC BBB" or the original "UFF FF00" threads on Nexus, and you will know what I'm talking about.

It looks as if it's time for me to start with a clean slate and rebuild all the anims. Think I'll try NoMaam, stylish jump, Umpas sexy walk, and then see what happens with VipCxj High Heels. Things only go to hell for me when I install the latter.

Cheers folks.

Dee383, I missed that out of my list as I'm too dumb to mention it - sorry. I did install the plugin collection in the correct place as I'm among the happy few that really do read the readmes and descriptions, but, of course, you weren't to know that.

It was still good of you to post anyway. In fact you've given me an idea. Instead of dropping Universal Skeleton in the data folder and then installing HH. I'll simply install it your way with the skeleton provided alone.

Absolutely right. As I eventually suspected it seems that it was the Dryad anims at the root of my troubles. Though no ctd issues, they don't play nice with HH. One lives and learns.

Cheers Dee.

I've actually started converting some RHH boots into non-RHH, because I can't run RHH without constant slowdown and crashing anymore. It's actually been the first working stuff I got out of blender for oblivion so it's not all bad. But there's still some stuff that can't be converted back without looking odd. I find it a shame that some modders are releasing stuff that's RHH only.
